I highly recommend Carolina Wood Fence. Received white glove service from start to finish. I contacted CWF for an estimate and the owner Mike promptly contacted me and came out and gave me an estimate. Mike explained the work to be completed including all timelines from having utilities Marked, ordering materials, to the installation of the fence. The fence material is above average material of powder coated aluminum. Mike even had a gate custom made for the slant we have in our yard. The installer that came out (also named Mike with with a helper) showed up on time and did a great job of installing our fence. My wife and I couldn't be happier. Excellent experience, excellent communication, and great results. Thank you Carolina Wood Fence!!! A+++

They came to house at 9am as promised. Around noon we lost wifi connection and found that they cut underground wire cable. It was not their fault but our wireless service provider wrote wrong line on the ground. Chief member called the provider and the provider dispatched repair crew and fixed the issue within 1-2 hours. Fence installation was completed by around 3:30pm. Overall they did pretty good job with very reasonable price. I will hire them again when needed on future. Good job!

Mike, Brent and the crew were great. They were professional at all times and did a quality job. They did the needed safety checks for underground wires and obtained required permits. Fence is holding up well and we have had many nice comments on its looks and quality.

Mr. Spath and his team were very helpful. They quoted a fair price. They had the utilities marked (When the folks installed the fence 20 years ago, I don’t remember then doing that). I actually had to go out of town unexpectedly and they were great to work with me.

Things went well up to the end. They left an opening on under the fence on a sloped area. Instead of cutting boards to fit down to the ground they just left it open. When called to have them come back and fix this problem, the Owners son who is running the business and a full time fireman, got very angering because I tried to tell him about cutting boards to fit in where with slope so there was no dog opening under the fence. He asked me if I was a fence professional and was I telling him how to do his job. Instead of fixing fence he tried to bury wood under the opening. Very Unprofessional and Very Poor Customer Service. Plus, angers very easy and will yell at you instead of listening to you. I do NOT recommend Carolina Wood Fence at all.

I was going to highly rate and use again for fencing and automatic drive gates. But after being yelled at and accused of not knowing about putting up fences, there is no way I would recommend this company to anyone. I called Mike Spath JR who is a Charlotte Fireman and according to him doesn't get angry and yell. His guy's left an opening under a small section of fencing there it slopes down hill, so dogs can get under. I sent Mike pictures because he refuses to come back out after work is done to look at problems. He said he would have guys stop by on Friday. Since don't live in the home yet, which Mike knew from first coming out to give quoto, he never called or messaged me to say guys were on their way to property. In my message I explained the problem and sent him photos. I asked if they could cut the boards at the bottom to fit the slope so dogs don't get out. He said the guy's will handle it. He was also to have single gate door fixed so it would open easier. Well, the guy's showed up I was not there Mike never called or messaged. What they did was remove 6 footers and replace with used 6 footers and dug a hole in the slope and threw the dirt under the fence to try and cover opening. Leaving a hole in my yard. I spent Mike a message telling him how terrible the fix was and that it was very unprofessional work and I wanted opening fixed. That message really got Marks attention because he called back immediately and was upset. He accused me of yelling at him all the while he was the one yelling. He refused to let me talk and talked over me. I tried to explain want should have been done to fix the opening but he just kept asking me how many fences had I put up. He then accused my landscapers of breaking boards and gates and how his guys had to repair them. They repaired no broken boards or gates because I had been there 15 minutes before his guys had finally showed up and nothing was broken. I asked Mike to come out and look for himself to see what his guys really did, but he refused. He said I was accusing his guys of being liars. I was calm talking to Mike and had him on speaker phone so my friends and husband heard Mike yelling at me and then hanging up on me. So, there is no way I would ever use him again or recommend this company. He have lots of reviews where people say he yelled at them. Mike thinks he is always right. I spent Over $8,000. it was no small job. Norman Shores Drive, Cornelius NC fence opening still not fixed. I now can't wait to hear his feedback lies.

We had or original split rail fence installed about 17 years ago by Carolina Fence. As with all wood fences, it rotted eventually and so when it was time to replace we hired them again. The company is family owned and Brent (son) has taken over operations. We pretty much communicated entirely through email (standard these days) but Brent was always timely with responses and punctual when showing up for the quote and the actual work. We we were not in a hurry so can't comment on how it would be to hire them if you needed something pronto, but for us it was about 2 months from quote to install. Again, zero complaints on our side as we had much prep work to do such as trimming plants that had grown through our old fence. We thought the price was a little high, but in fairness due to past experience with them we did not even bother to secure another quote. Maybe not the smartest move but when we find good service we stick with what we know! Our work consisted of total removal of old fence and installing new. Workers showed up on time and were pleasant and conscientious of the fact that we had neighbors on both sides with dogs so they worked on those areas first. Total project took about 3 days. Our new fence looks fantastic and would highly recommend them!

Wonderful! They came when they said they would and finished in the amount of time predicted.

Called around June 7 to 10th, was asked to send photos. Did that. By weekend, called and asked them what’s up? Said they will get to me. Called again today June 22 and was told by owner I “won’t find anybody to repair fence because everyone is busy”. Then said worker was on vacation. Now received message “most likely” next Saturday but would “understand if I went with someone else”. Really???? Why not tell me that right from start? Don’t use them!

For a job this size it was incredible that 3 people pulled this off in 3 days. The fence looks wonderful and we couldn’t be happier with it. Please call these people if you need a fence done, you won’t be sorry!

Carolina Wood Fence did a wonderful job building our fence. They were very easy to work with, punctual, fast, and fairly priced. If we ever needed more fencing we would definitely use Carolina Wood Fence again!

The fence was installed efficiently and quickly. The employees were outstanding and very friendly!

The crew was punctual, and responsive and it was obvious that they knew their craft. The old fence was removed quickly and completely and the new one was installed in little time. It is solidly constructed with quality materials and is straight as an arrow.
