Mike and his crew were wonderful. Mike gave me a clear and detailed quote with no surprises. They showed up on time, built a beautiful fence and left the area clean and organized. They took the time to make sure there were no gaps in the fence since I have two small dogs. The gates they installed were very high quality and custom fit to the elevation. I highly recommend them!!

They were very responsive scheduling both an evaluation and in doing the work. They explained clearly what they would be able to do, and executed exactly as described.

The project went great. Mike and his crew were extremely helpful in helping me pick out the correct fence for my needs. The price was very fair and the service was A+. They arrived on time and got the job done that very day. We had fresh sod laid the week before the fence install, so I was afraid there would be some damage, but they didn't leave any holes. The fence looked like it was there before the sod was put down!!

I don't think ten minutes had passed between when I purchased the deal online and when I received a phone call asking when they could come out and survey the property. They came out that afternoon and quickly assessed what needed to be done, and then came out three weeks later to actually perform the work. They did a great job!

Overall they did just what I had asked them to do, but since this was maintenance I thought they would do a little more on their own. Specifically I was disappointed they did not tighten up the slats where they had come loose a little bit. They crew was professional, worked efficiently and did what was asked of them.

Carolina Wood Fence is a good company to work with. Mike is always quick to reply when contacted and always keeps you up to date on status. The fence installation was completed as scheduled in spite of weather and workmanship, as well as quality of the fence materials, is first class. In addition, price was reasonable and they left work site clean and ready to use. I feel Carolina Wood Fence was a great choice for satisfying my fencing needs.

Excellent - I purchased the Big Deal and was contacted by the company to schedule service <24hrs later. They were very professional, helpful, and able to provide all services without me being readily available at home. I had several crooked fence posts straightened, a nonfunctioning gate that is now aligned and working properly, and several broken pickets that were replaced - they took care of everything in one visit. Very happy with the results.

This company is awesome! Mike is the owner and dealt with me directly to go over options, help with the steps to get HOA approval and even recommended a reputable person to perform the survey. He gave me a very fair price (I got 2 other quotes and Mike's was the best) and came to my house to oversee the project and make sure it was completed to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants an excellent fence, professional and friendly customer service, and a good price. I love this fence.

Mike came out right away to price the job and gave me a quote on the spot. We scheduled the work and he and his guys were right on time. Everyone was very professional and friendly. They also took a great deal of pride in their work and it turned out great!

I got three estimates and Carolina Wood Fence was lower than one and equal to the other. However, their service was far above the other two. They came out in person right away to do their estimate. Provided a figure on the spot and said they could start in a few days. Although the other companies were resistant to our special requests, Carolina Wood Fence took it in stride and said, "No problem at all." We booked them and they contacted us the day before to confirm their arrival time. The arrived on time, did the work beautifully, and charged the exact estimate. They're a very professional and reliable company and we highly recommend them.

We could tell from the start after reading lots of reviews that this was a great company and we were right.. We decided to get a bid from this company. After meeting with Mike Spath, the owner, we did not even bother with other bids. We knew what it should cost and he was right on the money. The team came on time and had the job done in half a day. It was amazing to watch the teamwork of these guys. This was the most painless construction project we have had done and the finished product is beautiful. Mike was very detailed and thorough in his estimates. There were no hidden costs. We knew everything up front. The price he quoted was the price we paid. And, for the outstanding quality of workmanship, his price was more than competitive. He fit us into his schedule to best accommodate us. We closed on our house on Friday, and before the end of the following week we had our back yard fenced for our dogs. He had material delivered on Tuesday and his crew put it up Thursday morning. His crew was very competent, friendly, and polite. While they were working, my wife asked them to bore a post hole in the front yard for a decorative birdhouse. Not only did they bore the hole, but they also set the post in concrete for us! We were concerned about complications and, therefore, additional costs arising from the pipeline easement. The pipeline sent one of their men to be onsite during the installation. He worked with Mike's crew and there were no problems whatsoever. Our fence is absolutely lovely and we couldn't be more satisfied with Caroline Wood Fence!

From the very start, with a phone call placed to Carolina Wood Fence, I received great customer service. I did not have to leave a message to have someone get back to me. I knew that this could prove to be the company I could work with. Mike Spath, the owner, came out and did the estimate for me in a matter of a few days. He assured me that he would contact the necessary people to have our utilities marked prior to installing the fence. He also requested that if Ithis was not marked within a particular amount of time, to let him know. The markings were done and the time was set for installation. In the meantime, I had had a couple of questions about the placing of the fencing and upon making the call, Mike picked up the call and promptly answered my question. Again, no answering machine. Just dealing with a live person was heavenly. On installation day, Mike met his crew at our home on time, and reviewed what was to be done. He supervised the project as well. It was refreshing to see the team work so well together - the language between them was clean - their interaction with each other was appropriate - and their answers to my questions were respectful and polite. Upon completion of the fencing, there was an expensive bush that was outside of the fence that I had wanted to bring within the boundaries and I asked if it would be difficult to dig up. One of the team volunteered to dig it up for me and move it to the spot I needed! Talk about going the extra step. I was very grateful. It is thriving to this day. The fence turned out beautifully and added that needed dimension to our home. I can now feel safe to let my grandkids out to roam around in the back, not having to worry that they may dart out into traffic into the busy street behind our home. (On a side note - Mike could definitely feel my need to protect my grandkids as he had several of them himself.) I contacted Carolina Wood Fence after seeing them on Angies List; Mike responded quickly by email & then made a visit to our property a few days later. He gave us a fair estimate & we scheduled the job for a week later. Just a few days prior to schedule, we evaluated our property for a possible storage building & decided some trees would need to be removed prior to the fence installation. Mike worked with us on rescheduling & was able to complete the job just over a week later. Mike, Brent & crew were on time & did a great job working in a tight area especially with power, cable & water lines. The fence & gates look great & we are pleased with job done; I would recommend them!

Working with Mike and Brent at Carolina Wood Fence was a wonderful experience, and I would recommend them without hesitation! I had scheduled them to install a new fence at a house that I was in the process of purchasing. They were set to start the Monday after the closing. The sellers defaulted at the closing table late Friday afternoon, and in a complete panic, I had to cancel the job at the last minute. Mike and Brent were completely understanding and patient. They were the bright spot in a really difficult and stressful process. They stayed in touch with me throughout the process of finding and closing on a new home, and came out promptly to assess the new fence project. I ended up being able to use a few sections of the existing fence at the new house. They tore down and replaced several areas, and put a wonderful picket section facing the street. The new fence looks fantastic, and they did a great job with the installation and clean-up. Mike at CWF did a great job installing a drive gate and new fencing at my rental house in Charlotte. He completed the work and sent pictures to ensure I was ok with the quality of work, which was superb. I will recommend Carolina Wood Fence to my friends and family in the future.

Mike was very easy to work with and the quality of the work is very good. Mike was very knowledgeable about all regulations and laws and made things very easy. The crew showed up on Friday morning at 8:30 and they were done by 1:00pm! My wife and I couldn't be happier with the service.

Our experience with Mike and Carolina Wood was nothing but exceptional. Everything from the initial call to go over what we needed to the final day when everyone showed up exactly at the time they said they would was a breeze. Work was done when promised in a very timely manner. I enjoyed talking with them as they worked and they finished the job in half a day. Good workers!

My experiance with this company was poor. I called the number provided and was told to fill out form and website and someone would contact me. No one did, so I called again and this time it was promptly handled. Mike was heading out of town and had Brent handle my estimate. He arrived on time and was pleasant, but there were problems with my estimate. They were cheaper overall but this was because it was measured incorrectly. Another company gave me an estimate and I measured myself. They were 90 feet off. In addition to this, I was told my price was $22 a square foot, but doing the math Brent worked up estimate at $24 a square foot. When I contacted them about the issues Brent was supposed to look at measurements again and call me back. I never heard anything from company again. I have my concerns on how this would have worked out for my bottom line since the measurement and price per square foot was off.

It was a small job, but they were courteous, responsive, prompt and efficient. What more could anyone want! It was less than a week between the date of first contact and the date the job was completed.

I had my (beautiful white picket) fence ( Hudson Fence Supply = Made In American) put in by Mike and Brent Spath of Carolina Wood Fence and I can?t say enough good about them. I never met Mike, all of the work to prepare for my fence was done on the phone or using his user friendly website. Mike and his team are friendly and professional. I called Mike after I had two other estimates and I asked if he could beet the competitors price and he did. I paid my deposit of $50.00 and the next day Mike was out to the house to mark the fence and gate lines within two more days all the other companies were out to mark gas, telephone, power etc. Mike set a date two weeks out from my making the deposit and the fence was put in. I am very pleased with the work and would recommend Carolina Wood Fence to anyone.

The Carolina Fence crew showed up on time and started work after a thorough examination of the yard and walk through with the crew chief and me. They laid out all the materials ensuring that they were not disturbing the plants or in the neighbor's yard. After digging the holes and setting the fence, the crew double checked the installation and did a walkthrough with me. They did a great job and it only took them about half-a-day to do it. I am very satisfied with their work.

I called and set up an apppointment and Mike came out and was wonderful. I got a couple of estimates and all were about the same price range. Mike was the most responsive of the group. I called to schedule the work and he set a date and everything went like clockwork. Mike was there when I left for work and during the day he texted me pictures. He let me know when they were done and when I came home there was a brand new beautiful fence waiting on me. I would absolutely use them again.
