The entire process went very smooth from the planning stage to completion. Mike the owner met with me and he gave us an estimate for job. We were pleased with the price quoted and an installation date was agreed upon. Mike and his crew were at our residence on time and on the date promised. The crew from Carolina Wood Fence had to work in extremely hot conditions. They never complained and they installed our fence as promised. The crew also hit numerous large rocks when digging for the fence posts making the installation even more challenging. The crew made sure that we were completely satisfied with the installation.. Mike also called me while his crew was working to make sure that we were satisfied with the installation process. Upon completion the crew made sure that all the debris was cleaned up and they left our residence in broom clean condition. We would highly recommend Carolina Wood Fence to all of our friends and family.

We met with the owner -Big Mike I called him since there were 2 other Mikes'son his work crew-and he made great suggestions about the yard privacy that we were looking for. His work crew showed up as scheduled to remove the old fence and then returned the next day to complete the installation. The new fence looks and the neighbors have made several positive comments about the finished product. Big Mike also called to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. Overall it was a great experience.

The crew did an awesome job. This is the second time we have had a fence done by Carolina Wood Fence. They always act professional and courteous, never leave any trash from the fence nor otherwise. They do the work competently, always letting me know what was to be done for the day. They worked when the weather was hot and humid, did not quit when the going got tough, especially on the back part of the property we call the "fire swamp". Went the extra mile and tied pink streamers to help keep the deer out of the property. Great company and the guys that work for them. We would not use anyone else!

I called to set up an appointment to meet for a bid for a fence installation. The man that answered the phone was instantly abrupt and rude. He may or may not install a good fence, but I refuse to work with somebody that rude.

It went great. I called four companies for quotes. Carolina Wood Fence was the most responsive. Mike was on a road trip when I called, asked me to text him my contact info and said he'd have someone call me back. Mike B. called back that afternoon and came out the next day to give an estimate. The estimate was the best we received, AND Mike managed to work us into his schedule within the week so the fence would be done in time for my daughter's bday party (camp out in the backyard...the fence really needed to be fixed!). Mike's team did a great job, my fence is now stable and looking good! My neighbor, who share's one fence line was very appreciative that the team took great care not to trample some very sentimental flowers in her garden, that were right next to a post that was to be replaced. This is what great service is all about.

Every thing was great. Because of the power lines the plan had to be altered a bit and Mike sent an extra man early to help with a fence demolition. The team arrived on time and amazingly finished in the five hours promised. Cleaned up all material and did a great job. My fence is well built and looks good. I will recommend this company to everyone.

Mike listened to what I needed. Without making a commitment, he did say he would look at his schedule to see if he could install the fence sooner than the 6 weeks. He called the day after our initial conversation and said he had another job in my area and would be able to install our fence the next week since it was a small project. All the work was planned out. He had the utilities marked and materials delivered the day before the work was to begin. They arrived on time and went straight to work. Mike was professional and provided the fence we needed a week after we spoke. He also removed part of an old split rail fence and hauled that away. Highly recommended.

MIke was very friendly and professional when he came out for the estimate. His plan was detailed and all costs were included. I knew exactly what would be done and at what price. All questions were fully answered. His quote was more than a few hundred dollars cheaper than an Big Box store estimate. The installation date was juggled between his work load and my calendar which wasn't a big issue. He contacted me by e-mail and phone to work out the date so I was always informed in the process. On the installation day, his crew arrived earlier than thought they would (I was sleeping in a little bit) and were friendly and professional. It took them about five hours to do the job. As I watched them do their work, I was glad I didn't attempt to put in the fence myself (everyone want to save money but they (meaning I) don't factor in the how much hard work and time goes into a project like this). They were efficient and did an excellent job. The quality of materials were excellent. It was beefier than I thought it would be. Overall, I am very pleased with the whole process and end result. The fence has changed the character of the backyard very much for the better. I was surprised on how good it looks and how much I like it. I would recommend this company to anyone I know and would use Mike and crew again.

They were prompt, they did a good job, and they were reasonable. I've used them two or three times for repairs.

Mike and Carolina Wood Fence were great to work with from start to finish. I contacted them through email after reading the reviews on Angie's List. I spoke with Mike personally and he scheduled a time to meet me for an estimate. He worked around my schedule meeting me during my lunch hour. We were originally going to have a privacy fence on the ends and down both sides with black coated chain link across the back because we didn't want to block the woods view behind the house. When Mike arrived he gave us a suggestion of a split rail fence with wire across the back which would look good and also save us some money. Mike and his crew arrived to install our fence on the date and time that he had told us they would. They installed our fence in about 6 hours and were kind enough to text pictures of the finished product to us at work. Our fence looks great and we are so glad that we took Mikes advice and had the split rail with wire put across the back so we can still enjoy the view of the woods along the back of our yard. We highly recommend Mike and Carolina Wood fence and we would definately use them again. Our thanks to Mike and his crew....We love our new fence!

From the initial contact and consultation we knew that Mike and his team at Carolina Wood Fence were professional, punctual and listened to what we needed. He accommodated our schedule in the initial consultation and took his time to plan the fence area just as we desired. The price quote was fair and competitive and because of Carolina Wood Fence's outstanding reputation we knew their work would be of the highest quality. Even with a full schedule Mike brought his team in within a short amount of time, even a day early, to work in our back yard. In less than 4 hours they had secured our back yard with a beautiful split rail fence with wiring, for our dog's safety, adding two custom gates and securing the bottom side of our deck. They cleaned up nicely and were kind enough to text me photos while I was at work to show me the finished product. I contacted Carolina Wood Fence via E-mail thru Angies List. Within one hour Mike Spath called me and made an appointment to look at the project. He came that very day and spent a good two hours with me dicussing what I wanted and offering ideas as to how to make it even better. We agreed on a price and scheduled a time to do it. A crew arrived on a Monday to remove the old fence and another crew came the next day ( six guys) and installed the new fence in one day. The fence looks great and I am very pleased with the quality of the material and the workmanship. I would highly recommend this company.

Mike and Carolina Wood Fence Co. were a dream to work with. I was dreading the task of finding a company to put a fence on my property based on the rotten experience my sister had with a local, large home improvement store. From the first call, I spoke directly to Mike and he followed through on every aspect of the process personally. He promptly gave me a quote and went out of his way to work my job into his schedule, even completing it prior to leaving for a holiday weekend. His crew was very efficient, friendly, and polite; cleaning up after themselves and making sure I was satisfied with the job. I contacted them online and received a call back the next AM. Came earlier then scheduled to assess work that was needed (provide estimate) and completed work the next day. Prompt, professtional, reasonable price. Would definitely hire Mike again and will definitely refer to anyone needing fence work done.

It went great. The guys showed up at 7:45am and were done by 12:45pm. They did a great job cleaning up and when I found a couple of the cuts that weren't quite right, they addressed it and made sure I was happy before leaving. They kept in touch during the planning period as it took our HOA nearly 30 days to approve the fence. I couldn't be happier with the experience.

I had a unique situation whereas I have an existing fence that needed an addition added to it while maintaining the look of my current fence. I called the company to review what would be included in the Bg Deal before purchasing it. He complained about the price. Hey, if you're not happy with a Big Deal, then why the heck do you offer it? I sent pictures to him and he agreed that my repairs would be covered. A month and a half of weekly "l'll be there this week" emails went by before they finally came. At first i was understanding, but it just became a joke. gate 1. fixed and works great. gate 2. not fixed, doesn't open properly but they installed some pipes in the ground for the fasteners. not what i wanted or asked for. i wanted the gate to open and close properly. Repair/replace fence slats. I wish I could post.a picture of the fence slat that they left open with the actual slat still sitting there in the ground -real professional. i ended up having to beg a friend to come over and fix it so i could get my dog. I received an email thanking me for my business and asking me to call him when the entire fence needs to be replaced. Umm. No.

From start to finish Mike kept in close contact and did exactly as he said he would do. He recommended ways to save as well as improve the look and quality of the finished product.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! Do not hesitate to call these folks! Before calling Mike Spath at Carolina Wood Fence, I had already received cost estimates from 2 other companies, and frankly, wasn't even sure exactly what I was going to get. Mike was able to come to my home the very day I called and within 2 weeks I had "my fence" installed and it is awesome (totally)!. From start to finish, the project was a collaboration between us on form and function with Mike actually being more practical and mindful of cost than I was! Again, these folks are wonderful to work with and you won't be disappointed!

Mike and his team were great to work with form start to finish.
