Description of Work: Our bathtub's finish was in horrible shape due to a renter's bath mat. Mr. Willard sanded and refinished the tub and made it look brand new! He does a fantastic job! He is highly professional and a pleasure to work with. After he finished, something got dropped in our tub and caused a little damage to the finish. Mr. Willard drove an hour each way to come fix the issue, even though it was no fault of his. I would definitely recommend him to anyone, and asked for extra business cards to pass out for him.

Description of Work: They repaired a chip in the fiberglass shower and reglazed the bathtub and shower. Scheduling was easy, they were prompt and everything went as planned. I was pleased with the professionalism and the craftsmanship, for the most part. The caulking around the shower/tub is not as neat as I would like (that accounts for the "B" quality rating) but I did not mention it as I did not notice it until later. I believe that they would come back to redo it if I were to ask them. The glazing looks great! In fact, a contractor who installed my new shower fittings commented that he would like to hire them.

Description of Work: We decided to have our tub reglazed instead of replacing it when my husband remodeled our master bath. Jim Willard does excellent work. We are very pleased with our reglazed tub. It cleans beautifully and looks great. A cost-effective and less physically demanding option to replacing the tub.

+ 0 moreOne think that did not work out for us was the person they used to fix plumbing issues ( unrelated essentially to what they do) . They called Anchor Construction for this and we had problems with Anchor. In order to do the reglazing the taps need to be removed. After removing the taps we had a leak. This may have been there before and just became bigger because the hardware was old. However, had paid to pay a plumber $300 dolars to fix the leak because the thread of the taps was stripped and the plumber could then not fix the leak without quite a lot of effort and time. The plumber we called to fix the problem said that the previous "plumber" had not used the correct tool.
Description of Work: Custom Reglazing covered the pink tile in our bathroom. In general they are pretty good., professional and very fairly priced. We would call them again if we needed these services.

+ -1 moreThe guy who got the stain out of our bath tub was Jim Willard of Custom Reglazing. He is in Jamestown. His number is 336-454-1678. He usually charges $150 for the cleaning attempt, but for the oversized tub we have, (Kohler's Tea for Two model), he charged $175. He also recaulked the tub fixtures and took a minor stain out of the shower stall while he was there that I forgot to tell him about. I was very satisfied with the results and that he took the initiative to do more. Getting the stain out of the tub saved my husband and I a lot of money as we prepared our former home for sale.
Description of Work: We had a very unsightly stain in our top of the line and otherwise snow white bath tub. We were preparing our house for sale. I called Jim Williard of Custom Reglazing expecting we would need to have a reglazing job to cover the stain. He offered to try to remove the stain first using a process and chemical unavailable to the general public. I didn't even know that was an option. This successful stain removal saved us at least $150.00

+ -1 moreOverall, it went very well! He was able to work me into his schedule to meet my deadlines, the showed up on the day promised, was very professionial. He covered the whole path to my bathroom and th vanity. He also covered or removed any of the hardware prior to starting and carefully protected my newly installed tumbled stone. He glazed on Tuesday and suggested the he come back on Thursday morning to caulk, since some of the spacing was larger. He arrived early on Thursday as promised, carefully removed all tape and cleaned up all paper. He carefully caulked everywhere very carefully. He was friendly, professional and my tub looks like NEW!
