+ -1 moreEmbarq recently acquired our local phone service. They supply us with local, local toll, and long distance for a flat rate fee each month. Recently, due to a major road construction project down the road, our phone service was disconnected for 1 or 2 days. My neighbor used her cell phone to call the company and also report that our number was out too. When I received the bill, I was pleasantly surprised to see a credit on my bill of almost $17 for the time that I was without service! I was so happy I made sure that I called their customer service department to tell someone at this huge company that I appreciated getting the credit without having to call the company and ask for one!
