Description of Work: I have a long gravel driveway that needed truckloads of 3/4" washed stone gravel. The gravel was delivered as promised at a very reasonable delivery fee. The great thing is that Steve Crowe was so talented that he was able to evenly spread the gravel all along the driveway

Steve returned my call within 24 hours and had his bid in the next day. It was detailed and very competitive. The unknowns, such as the number of loads to be hauled back and forth, were explained, and any potential overages were spelled out, including costs per run etc. He went out of his way to save us money by finding landowners who wanted the concrete for fill, and others who wanted to get rid of dirt. This won't always be the case, but he will make an effort to assist you if he can. Steve arrived promptly on the job and finished quickly in a day and a half. The results exceeded our expectations. Steve is professional and pleasant. His price was better. His advice on what to do next was excellent. When possible, go with an owner/operator like Steve. We will use him again. We will recommend him to our friends. All in all, an excellent experience.
Description of Work: Steve broke up a large concrete pad on our daughter and son-in-law's lot, loaded it, and hauled the debris away. He hauled fill dirt back to the site, graded and compacted it. He also graded the gravel road to the site. They will now be able to build their house on the site.

The installation was handled very efficiently. They were ready for me at the appointed time. They installed the hitch and double checked its installation. Then they installed the wiring harness for connecting trailer brake lights. The harness installation was very neatly done. A staff member at REI had recommended Crowe's Trucking to us when we purchased a bike rack that required a trailer hitch. The cost was about half of what the Subaru website listed. We have only used the hitch so far for the bike rack and have had no issue with it.
Description of Work: Provided and installed trailer hitch on a 2011 Subaru Outback

What a fantastic experience! From the first contact, Steve showed more professionalism and care for his work than any other local company we contacted. Bidding Process: Steve took the time to come to our property, walk it thoroughly, discuss carefully what we wanted to accomplish, and prepare a written quote that addressed everything we needed. He was far above the others we contacted (all highly rated on Angie's List) with the care he took in this process. This project was treated as though it mattered, where with the other companies it was apparent we were small fish they couldn't be bothered with (one of which didn't even want to bid the project in person, instead asking for photos of the lot by email). I very much appreciated his approach and care for his profession, and also that he understood that people and relationships make the difference. Work Product: Steve explained to us how the work would roll out, and it went exactly as planned. We had some small delays due to weather, but that's not something any of us can control, and certainly I'd rather wait on weather than waste materials and money trying to push things! He explained where they were at during different phases, checked in with us several times to discuss the progress and make sure everything was as we needed it, and even did a few extra small things (like planting seed and laying down straw) that we hadn't originally asked him to do. Everything looks great, it's ready for the building, and we haven't gotten to the best part... Budget: This project came in almost 20% under budget. That never happens. I was expecting to hear about why it cost more than the bid.. and then he told me we'd be coming in a bit under instead! I know Steve took particular care to find places with the best prices for the materials needed, and really had ownership of the project and budget as though he was spending his own money. It's very rare for someone to care about a client's pocketbook in the way that he did with this project. I am very, very happy with the service from Crowe's Trucking and would absolutely recommend Steve and his crew to anyone looking for excavation work.
Description of Work: Steve leveled a part of our backyard in preparation for building a small (20X30) workshop there.

We were in a situation where we needed immediate help with our road conditions. Mr. Crowe responded quickly and worked with several different neighbors to determine a solution and then carried it out in a timely manner. We are extremely thankful for his help and would recommend him to anyone that asked.

Everything went perfectly and as expected. I have used this excavators on a number of times.
Description of Work: Dug up 2 propane tanks and replaced them with two new tanks, graded the soil above the tanks, delivered a truck load of gravel, and dug a pond out.
Description of Work: Steve took about two hours to review the project in hand and took into consideration the slope and water run off on to other property's His job was to rebuild rough gravel road that had been neglected for many years and every time it rained the gravel was washed away We had hired another person to do the job and he had made a right mess of it.So Steve had to fix his mess ups as well. He explained what he was going to do in detail.Fit in 3 off 12" drain pipes re slope the drive so the water would not flood the neighbors property. His contract was very clear with explanation of all charges and possibility's. His price was a little more than he said at the start but with the problems that came up (solid rock that took a Jack hammer) This was understandable the time taken 3 days. I would and will recommend him to any one who needs road work or foundations laying!

They responded to my request quickly and showed up on time. I felt they did an excellent job of making sure the footings were level. The mason I used even commented how wonderfully they did! The price was very reasonable for the work performed as well. I plan to use them additionally for an upcoming project
Description of Work: He dug and poured the footings and cleared the area for my retaining wall.
