Marty was called about an estimate for work to be done. He set up a time to come and give estimate. He was very prompt and professional. Gave thorough estimate on work to be done. Date set up for work to be done. He was prompt on day work done. He had all the supplies and equipment needed to do the job. He did an excellent job and came in below estimate. He is very professional and knowledgeable. Will use him when I need any electric work done.

Marty answered all my calls - I never had to leave a message. He arrived exactly when he said he would. He identified the problem almost immediately and fixed it extremely quickly. He did not charge for parts. He gave estimates, which sounded reasonable, for my planned future requirements. I also learned a few things; he was happy to explain while he was working. He was finished in 30-45 minutes (including his time spent estimating); there was no mess. A+. Hedgecock Electric Inc. seems very impressive.

It never went. I must start over calling other electricians.

Excellent experience. Marty worked very fast and I could barely tell he had been here (other than the fact that I had new lights!)-- even having cut holes in the ceiling and walls for the new light fixtures. He was finished with the first part of the job in a just a few hours. We then had the sheetrock repaired by another service and Marty came back to finish installing fixtures after the repair and again took just a few hours. I could not believe how smoothly and stress-free it all was. I will not hesitate to refer him to friends.

We had an extremely positive experience with Marty. He is timely, thorough, and friendly. I do believe that his prices are extremely reasonable as well. We will certainly call on him again when we need electrical service done.

Mr. Hedgecock responded promptly to my voice mail, within a couple of hours after I called! He came to the house, checked some of the outdoor outlets, and talked to me about fixing them. He did not charge me for the service call, which I appreciated very much. I certainly plan on calling HEDGECOCK ELECTRIC CO to install the recommended repairs, and to make sure that the job is done right. Excellent service, great company! I strongly recommend them.

Marty was prompt in delivering an estimate (which was reasonably close to the final price). He made some good suggestions as to what needed to be rewired and we gave him the go ahead to start. Throughout the entire process Marty was considerate (cleaned up after himself and called to check before starting on something that we weren't expecting), professional (the holes that he cut in our old plaster walls were nicely done), and quick (he completed the job, by himself, in little over a week). I would recommend Marty to others and will use him again in the future.

I thought that overall, the work was done very professionally and was high quality. My only problem was that the cost crept well over what I thought I would be paying, and I would have hoped to have been more clearly warned up front that the cost for what I requesting would exceed my stated cost expectations.

Received estimate within 2 days. Service was scheduled and work performed in one day. Marty had to work in some close spaces in the attic and he did so without complaint. He showed up on time and was a real professional. He cleaned up after each job and didn't mind my watching him work. I would definitely use him again.

Great service. I called for weeks trying to find someone to accept the job of installing our 80" ceiling fan in our 2 story family room. The ceilings are 18' and no one wanted to touch the job. Called Marty and he said no problem. Came out and had the fan hung within 45 minutes, also installed the remote I had purchased for it. Great work, fast, friendly and assured my floors were protected during the job. Will use again. Marty is a prime example of what should happen when you ask a skilled tradesman to come out and do work in your home\buisness - kudos to you Marty.

]I left a message on his main number. He called back within a couple of hours Due to the nature of the installation, Marty did not have to make a separate trip for diagnostics. He showed up when he said he would and completed the installation in less than an hour.

Marty came over and reviewed what I wanted done. We then coordinated a time for him to return after purchasing the needed supplies. Everything was installed, and I was very happy with the results.

He was fast, friendly, and fastidious. We can now mow the backyard after dark it's so bright out there! He also gave us a 10% Angie's List discount! What's not to love?!! I highly recommend this company, and I'm sure we'll call him again for other electrical needs.

Marty came this afternoon to check the snapping and popping wall switch. He found a loose wire and after tightening up a screw and testing the switch and wall lights, pronounced it fixed (which it was). He charged me nothing for the service, nothing for the labor and nothing for his time to travel from Summerfield to my house here in Greensboro. And I certainly would have paid any reasonable amount just for the peace of mind of knowing that my house wasn't going to burn down around my ears one night. So, thank you, Marty Hedgecock, for your wonderful service and thank you, Angie's List, for putting me together with Marty. He now has a return customer for sure!

What I didn't like was that he ran almost an hour late. When he did show up he was very clean and efficient. He did the work in two and a half hours and was very nice to work with.

I chose Hedgecock company through Angie's list because of its high rating, and I called him. He responded immediately. I called other competitors but they didn't respond to me. Actually, they promised to call but they didn't. I appreciated the responsiveness of Hedgecock. I asked a lot of questions about the recess lights and I asked him to come over for second time to show me what kind of lights he will install. So he came for second time to inform me. He took him one day to do 90% of his job. The next day he had to buy a new socket for the recess light and that's why it took two days to complete the work. He did an excellent job. I put N/A in his pricing because I didn't have the chance to compare his price with others; but he honored the 10% off coupon that had posted in Angie's List.

He was great to talk to on the phone, and the appointment was scheduled for two days later. The appointment was scheduled for today at 9am. It was to swap out 2 ceiling fan light kits. Simple. At 11am, I called him to find out what was going on. I got his voice mail and left a message. Almost 2 hours later, I still haven't heard from him. Just hired someone else to do this job.

I can't comment on this because I didn't get a follow-up phone call. I would suggest calling back and leaving a message at best.

Promptly scheduled visit to provide estimate of cost/time. Showed up when he said he would for estimate & for actual work. Very nice & professional to work with.

The problem itself was straightforward. Both the lamp post lights and its AC outlet were inoperative. No lights. No power at the outlet. The solution was however (to a homeowner) baffling. Happily, an experienced electrician, equipped with the right tools resolved the issue in short order. A cut in the buried line supplying power to the lamp post was located and repaired. Power and light were quickly restored. I addition, Mr. Hedgecock returned 2 days later to replace the light sensor, restoring the fixture’s ability to cycle on and off with darkness and daylight. Our problem was addressed effectively and professionally.

I had great success dealing with this company. They were polite and professional. The work was done on time and was done with great detail. They cleaned up well after the job and I had no complaints. I would recommend them in the future to anyone. Marty is the owner and he was the actually person who came to do the work. The experience was very positive.

Our lights seemed to all go out at the same time in our home. I looked on Angie's list for an electrician and saw the high ratings that Marty got, so I called him. He came over the same day and gave us and estimate for the work. He also suggested a place for us to go look for lights (which was a fantastic place). He told us the type of lights that he recommended to help brighten some of our darker areas. Once we purchased the lights, Marty came over and installed them all. He did an EXCELLENT job. The lighting in my house is absolutely beautiful. Marty does very high quality work. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs electrical services. We will definitely continue to use him for all of our electrical needs. And he gave us a 10% discount for using Angie's list to find him. Great service and great prices!

I found them on Angie's List. I had a coupon. He installed both of them in less than an hour and I didn't even know about the coupon but he told me about it on Angie's List. He also did an estimate for a future job that we haven't done yet but I need to call this week. He was very professional, nice, punctual and quick which when you're paying by the hour is helpful. We have another electrician we used to use but we switched to him.
