ARBOR MASTERS TREE SERVICE

Contacted them to remove some roots that looked like they might be effecting our foundation. Chose them because my parents had had a good experience. They came out, did an estimate and told us they would be by to take care of it in the next couple weeks. We called back 3 months later to check in and they said the same thing. This was a year ago. They have not initiated contact with us since their estimate. Then the next time my parents used them they were responsive but did a very poor job.

These guys were great! They came in with good equipment, did a clean job, and worked very safe. There was a fence about 8' from the tree, and they damaged nothing. Their price was also good compared to other quotes I got. I would definitely use them again.

Fantastic. The correct equipment was brought in. The number of people on the project was good. The work took the proper amount of time. When the work was completed, you wouldn't know that the tree existed - stump disappeared. Only some saw dust remained.

Arbor Masters carefully cut down the tree and ground up the stump. They are true professionals! The y did not harm any other trees and cleaned the work area perfectly! The entire staff are always friendly and very professional! This is the second time I used their service and I am well pleased. I will use them again and I highly recommend them!

There was an initial visit by the owner to view the areas where I wanted work performed. He was very helpful in assisting me to develop a plan that would enhance the look of our property. A price quote for the job to be performed was discussed. This company was selected and I made an appointment with the office( given a specific week time period). I called the office mid-week of the week I had written on my calendar. I was informed that I was not on the schedule for the week I had documented. The office assured me that they would work to get me scheduled as soon as possible. I received a call a few hours later informing me that the work would be performed Tuesday of the next week. I was impressed with the effort made to get me scheduled. The team of workers and the owner showed up as promised on the day promised. They were pleasant and helpful. They did an awesome job! l will definitely call them in the future if needed.

I received an estimate for the job in late October. I called and left a message that I wanted them to do the job. Didn't hear back after several days. I had to call 2 more times to get a date when they would come. I was told that it would be 3 more weeks before they could get to it due to all the rain. As the date approached, the job was rescheduled to Dec. 2nd. . It rained on Dec. 2nd so I expected them to be there on the 3rd. They were a no show. They were also a no show on the 4th. I tried calling them around 10am on the 4th and got their voice mail. By mid afternoon that same day I still hadn't heard from them so I called again. The woman who answered gave no excuse and, after shuffling some papers, gave me a new date of Dec. 21st. That's almost 2 months from the first time I called them! If I hadn't called on Dec. 4th I don't think I would have heard anything since I had to keep chasing them for any answers. I realize that the weather was very bad during this time but the fact that they never called to let me know when they would have to reschedule was unprofessional.

Joe Lowry & his crew did an OUTSTANDING job! Joe came by yesterday and provided a written estimate on the spot. I asked about his insurance coverage, and the Certificate of Insurance was emailed to me this morning. The 5-man crew arrived as promised by 8:30 AM. They were very efficient & obviously well versed in tree services. They immediately started to set up their equipment, get lines ready, move the cherry picker in place, etc. In about 2.5 hours, all work had been completed, and everything cleaned up. Dropping the dead tree was done with amazing skill. Everyone knew where to be as the enormous tree trunk was lowered to the ground and quickly cut into pieces and loaded into the truck. I highly recommend that if you need any tree work, call ARBOR MASTERS TREE SERVICE!

They arrived on the date agreed and worked three full days for job completion. The job was large due to numerous tall black walnut trees which were cut down and the stumps ground up. I had Maple Trees trimmed. There was a a large number of very tall and old Oaks trimmed nicely from the top to the bottom. All logs, branches and sticks picked up and removed. The areas were raked clean and the end result is beautiful to see! I have used different tree services in years past and none come close to the quality work given by Arbor Masters. I will highly recommend Joe Lyons and his team to anyone! They are the finest tree service I have ever used!

Crew arrived as advised with the proper equipment for the job. There were structure and over head utility lines to deal with; all were handled correctly with cherry picker, ropes, lines, tie-offs and preliminary trimming. All debris to include stump grinding remains were removed from the yard with raking and blowing to finish. Joe and Michelle Lyon run a top shelf operation.

Came time he said he would. Took almost eight hours with many trucks and men. Very professional.

The experience with Arbor Masters Tree Service was very nice. All communications were through Angie's List/ online which is great for me because I tend to be very busy and really cannot spend time on the phone. I did have to follow up to see the status of my quote once or twice (at the time), but every message I sent was promptly replied to! Other than that, the online representation of the company, the willingness to work with me (I am outside of their service area), and the price were all great! Once my appointment is complete in late December, I'll be sure to come back and update this review. Overall, I would recommend them. *Update: The Arbor Masters Tree Service team had to reschedule to January due to weather. The job is now complete and I am 110% satisfied. So satisfied, I paid a 'little extra' as a thank you. I'd recommend these guys and will definitely call them again when I need tree service done.

I would recommend Arbor Masters for all your tree trimming services.Arbor Masters gave me a very competitive bid to perform tree trimming that I requested. I had several discussions with Joe and his wife who schedules the work. They were completely straightforward, honest, and easy to work with. It's sad to say when you get excited over people who say what they're going to do and then they do it, but I'm here to tell you that they were very honest with me. Arbor Masters had their insurers send me their certificates of insurance and they added me as an additional insured - which is the way it is supposed to be. They scheduled the work with me 2-3 weeks in advance, but they stayed on schedule all the way and didn't start cancelling or postponing when they'd come. Arbor Masters also has very good equipment. They own a crawler which allows them to get into tight spaces and minimize damage to your yard. They cut down a very large oak close to my house. No problem. They also cut very large oak limbs that were 60+ feet above my driveway. Last but not least, they did a thorough cleanup job. It was like they had never come. It would seem to me it would be the easiest thing to do a shoddy job on the cleanup and get out of town, but they raked and used blowers on every part of the yard including my driveway, sidewalks, etc. They hauled away all the heavy wood, sawdust, twigs, leaves, etc.

This is the second time we have used Arbor Masters and we could not have been more pleased both times. The guys are great. They showed up on time, worked quickly, cleaned up afterwards. They even swept the walk! Our yard was tidier when they left than it was before the storm! They were able to get the huge pine tree down, the parts trimmed and turned into mulch in no time. They had to cut the tops off a large number of our Leyland cypress trees, and they made sure the tops were even. This is no small task, given the irregular lay of the land around our house. They were also able to remove a 20' pine tree from the lake behind the house neatly and efficiently; again, no small feat since the lake is not accessible with a vehicle. To top it off, they were super-polite and considerate. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

Excellent! The very best work ever by a contractor. The quality of work was excellent. He has the employees and the equipment to get the job done quickly and efficiently. The area was completely cleared of all debris. He also cut a neighbor's tree and they were very pleased with his work.

They did a great job. They did great keeping the tree from endangering the house as they removed it. Stump was removed also. My lawn was roughed up by their heavy equipment but that really could not be avoided as it had been raining almost every day for the previous several weeks. I did give them a B for responsiveness but I was told that they were slammed by storm cleanup from several prior storms in the area. It took them a while to get to my job.

We will try to call a 3rd time, but will be contacting someone else that may actually want the business.

Disappointed. A storm came through town and the company was doing some tree removal for two of my neighbors. I was told he would give me a fair price and take care of my area if we needed him to do so. When I called the company, I told them I wanted a QUOTE. Since the man was working next door he came over and what his men were going to do. As he was telling me the plan, he instructed his men to begin removing a broken limb from a tree etc. I had not hired them yet. He assumed he was doing the job. I slowed the conversation down and told him I had also called another company for a quote. He proceeded to tell me that since he was out here already and other companies would have to bring equipment he wasn't sure how it would compare, but implied I was saving money because he was already on the property; but said he could not speak for another company. Since his men had already started working on my property, I went along with it and started to go about my business. I quickly learned the charge was very high and asked the workmen to stop the work until I spoke with my husband. The working men were polite. Two minutes later I see a tractor returning a load that they had previously taken away (about 200 feet away) and returned the load and dumped it back in my yard. At this moment, I was glad I had asked them to stop and realized they were not the company for me. This was incredible disrespectful and rude. Luckily, I had a friend over who watched this happen and confirmed with me that I had done the right thing. The second quote I had was for 200 dollars. Third quote coming tomorrow. The 3 rd quote was for 300

Excellent- one of the best experiences I have had in working with a contractor.

Called the company 3 times to see if they would provide service in my house. I was told the owner would call me back, but never did. I gave up and found another company.

Called Joe (the owner) one afternoon and he happened to be in our neighborhood,so he said he could run by that afternoon to look at what we needed done. He left an estimate that fully explained what each of the trees needed and what he planned to do. Three years earlier we had used another company to"fix" our trees and spent $700 for only 4 of the trees and they only thinned then out a little. We were impressed with what Joe was discribing that he was going to be doing. We called and excepted the estimate and they asked if we had a preference when we'd like it done. Having no preference we left it to them and they called within a week or so to set it up. They came on that morning, worked all day had everything cleaned up that afternoon before they left. It looked like a different place when I came home. We are so happy with the results and know that we certainly got our moneys worth. We won't be needing to do this again for many many years.

Joe was very prompt in calling us to set up a time to give me an estimate. This was just after a bad rain and wind storm, but he found the time to get here. Joe is an extremely likable and knowledgeable person. We had read the reviews on Angie's List and were impressed. He provided an extremely fair and competitive price and the work was completed three weeks later. Joe informed me that it would take a little time because he was so busy from the storm. He was upfront about that, which was fine with us. His office manager Michelle could not have been nicer or more helpful the couple of times I spoke with her on the phone. All the work was completed on the day it was scheduled and we could not be happier. These a truly great folks to work with and are nice people. I highly recommend this company and Joe. I know they are the best in our area as I have used two other tree services that did not compare in all areas, including price. As I said, we found Arbor Masters on Angie's List and feel it is important to pass the information to the next person.
