They have been excellent and always come when we need them. We would recommend them and we would hire them again.

Called Stokesdale to request a check-up of my heat pump, with the intention of setting up an annual maintenance agreement if I liked their work and responsiveness. The lady in the office was nice, but said that someone would have to call me back. No one ever did.

We made an apt with them to replace my heat pump and they called and canceled. We rescheduled and they called once again to cancel. I asked them to call me back to set up another date and they never called back.

First, Ray came out and provided me with estimates for different AC and furnace replacement options. I selected the top of the line option to have the best operating efficiency, scheduled a date and time for the work to be done. His crew started at 10 a.m., right on schedule and by 12, was finished and cleaned up. The city inspector that he arranged was there within 24 hours. A very professional installation from start to finish.

They performed an analysis first to see if our unit would be able to handle the extra space for cooling and heating. Mr. Joyner is very knowledgeable and cares about the work they do. All of the work was performed in a professional and friendly manner. I appreciate not only the good work they do, but I never feel like we are being taken advantage of, and I believe they are honest and trustworthy.

GREAT! I have used Stokesdale Heating and Air more than once and they have always exceeded my expectations. Both office and service personnel are friendly, polite, respectful, and very helpful in all aspects from start to finish.

They were recommended by a friend when I needed a new furnace and AC. I wanted a high efficiency unit, and considered two other companies. Mr. Joyner was the only contractor to solve a problem we had with the existing design of our system (baffle to upstairs) with a practical and easy solution. The other companies said it couldn't be done without expensive additional equipment which would probably be hard to maintain.. The system itself is wonderful (we've only used heat so far) and it has easily kept up with record cold weather in NC without a hitch. It's so quiet!..It's hard to tell about the actual efficiency, because the temps have been so low we have nothing to compare it to. I'm going to do some research on very old bills to find some previous cold weather to confirm gas and electricity usage...I highly recommend this company and Mr. Joyner and his team.

Fantastic! The motor went out during the hottest part of the year, and I'm sure they were getting lots of calls, but they responded very quickly to us anyway - the tech had the new motor on his truck and we were up and running within about 30 minutes of his arrival.

Stokesdale H/AC provided a fair price and good service to replace the central AC units located on 1st and 2nd floors of my home.

The service provider was professional and efficient. He quickly assessed the problem and knew exactly what to do. He was polite and pleasant, and said and quot;we will drop you a bill in the mailand quot;. Wow, I wasn't expecting that! I was busy with some other things and didn't even ask what the charge would be. Later, I called to make sure I wasn't in for a shocker. Again, I was treated with courtesy and professionalism on the phone. The person on the other end quickly found the info I needed - in a pleasant and personable way. Plus, no surprises on my bill. The charges were very reasonable. I have used Stokesdale Heating and Air one other time. We thought we had a problem with our AC and they came to check it out. It ended up that everything was fine. They didn't charge us for the call. I remembered them to be sure, and now they have us as customers. I would highly recommend Stokesdale Heating and Air. They have their act together!

Stokesdale Heating and Air have always been cordial, professional and prompt. They are very responsive and patient. The service is the best.

They called before they came out and they came out the same day I called for service. They diagnosed the problem quickly and had the part and replaced it quickly. They didn't ask for any money at the time of the call, but will bill me. They did the original work when the house was built and we haven't had any issues in the 6 years since.

Called in the morning for service and representative arrived two hours later. He was very friendly and knowledgable.

We were having trouble with our heat running properly on a Saturday morning. We called 3 companies, two of which advertised 24 emergency service. Stokesdale Heating and Air is the only one who responded to our message. They are also the only one who did NOT advertise 24 hr emergency service! They called back within an hour and had someone out that afternoon. The technician tried a repair/fix which would not require any parts or additional service. The heat started working again fine while he was there. I asked what I owed, and he said nothing at this point, let's see how it goes and I will follow up on Monday. We called on Monday morning to let them know we still had issues. He said he would come by and maintenance and clean more parts in a last attempt to fix without replacing parts. He was there as stated once again no request for payment yet. Later in the week we determined we still had an issue so I asked them to go ahead and replace the part(s). The tech was there the next day as promised and replaced the part. No issues since! They even waited until we called with the all okay, before sending us a bill! Great Service!

During a weather front of temps over 100, my air conditioning unit for my upstairs stopped working. First thing on a Sunday morning I called Stokesdale Heating and Air and had to leave a message. My call was returned in about 10 mins and unit was completely repaired within the hour. It was a common part that he had on his truck. This is the second time I have used this provider and can't say strongly enough how pleased I have been both times. Sometimes after a repair person leaves you wonder if you were taken advantage of...not so with Stokesdale Heating and Air. They fix the problem fairly, nothing more and nothing less.

Our A/C unit went out on a Saturday - and the representative was at our house within minutes of my placing a phone call to inquire about an on site evaluation. He didn't have the part immediately available so he promised to be back Monday at 11:00. He returned (on time), with the part, showed us exactly what he was doing and what was he was replacing and why. He then even went so far as to show us how perform simple seasonal maintenance and what to look for when experiencing other issues similar in nature. Professional, efficient and very knowledgeable. The price was very reasonable and I would definitely recommend this business again.

Stokesdale Heating and Air just left and I immediately got on the computer to write how impressed I am by them. Our downstairs heat stopped working and we had another company come out yesterday. They said it would be $800 to install a new board and kept trying to get me to buy a whole new system instead (it's 7 years old). I called Stokesdale Heating today for a second opinion and they came out an hour later. They could not have been nicer and more professional. The went and picked up the part and were back the same day to install it--all for $500. They charged $300 less for the exact same part and the service was a thousand times better. And they let me know that our system is fine and does not need replacing--they were honest when they could have easily made more money off of us. I cannot recommend this company enough. They're honest, fast, efficient, reliable, and some of the nicest people I've ever dealt with. I rarely write reviews, but am so impressed with this company and they really deserve to be acknowledged for it. We will be calling them for all our service needs from now on.

Prompt response. Done right the first time

Stokesdale HVAC corrected the problem that three other contractors could not figure out. Job was coordinated well and the appropriate amount of help was put to the task. Drain to upstairs HVAC unit is now working well. Stokesdale removed old leaking pan and replaced with custom new one. Drainage was redesigned properly. I'm very happy to get this problem solved.

The process went very well. Stokesdale Heating and Air conditioning brought a professional and detailed quote for replacing both units. I researched prices from other vendors and this was reasonable. Also, I found out that Trane is a pretty reputable brand. The install only took 4 or 5 hours to complete and left with the units operating very nicely. They had an electrician come out and check the wiring the next day, which made me feel good. The new units have been operating great. I would definitely recommend their services.

The service technician was on time, helpful, and courteous. We have been using Stokesdale Heating and Air Conditioning for several years and we have been very happy with them. We would definitely recommend using them.
