COLEY BUNCH NURSERY & GARDEN

Description of Work: We've had Coley Bunch Nursery do work for us twice, once in Raleigh, and once in Greensboro. While they don't normally do work in Greensboro, we've come to know Coley Bunch folks, a family business, pretty well over the years, and they agreed to come to Greensboro to help us with some landscaping work that was overwhelming us. In Raleigh, they removed the original overgrown building contractor installed poorly designed landscaping in our front yard, designed and installed new landscaping. Ironically, we didn't get to enjoy it much, as we then had to move to Greensboro due to a job transfer. We believe the new landscaping which was well designed to require lower maintenance and accommodate appropriately for plant growth, was one of the points that helped the house sell in just 10 days (despite the poor housing market). Johnny and Lavonne handled the design, spent time inquiring about how much maintenance we wanted to spend, what plants we liked and didn't, getting a good idea about the space, etc... They were very knowledgeable about plants and were very thoughtful in their development of their landscape design. As I recall, they offered an excellent warranty on their plants as well (I didn't keep track of that since we moved). At our new home in Greensboro, there were many unique plants from the prior owner, lots of landscaped areas, but we let it get overgrown in the first year. Coley Bunch came down and went through all the bed areas with us, advising what would be good to keep and what should go. They then spent a full day removing unwanted plants and clearing beds, leaving everything ready to maintain and manageable.
