+ 1 moreThe owner of The Artistic works in Stedman, NC, Phil, just left my house after installing a backsplash in my kitchen. He had previously installed granite in my kitchen and all 3 bathrooms with no problem. For some unknown reason he refuses to come back to seal the tile, which has to be sealed so if you cook alot like I do and happen to get grease on it, it won't be ruined. I am in complete shock as his wife had assured me this needed to be done and he would simply give me a date and a price. I have purchased about $6,000.00 worth of tile and granite from The Artistics Works and was so shocked to have Phil refuse to come back and finish the job! Yet he tells me He is the only certified installer in the county and was happy to take the $1,000.00 for material and labor but refuses to finish the job....This is crazy!!!! SO BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Description of Work: The artistic Works installed granite in the kitchen and three bathrooms and tiled the backslash in the kitchen.

+ 0 moreThe process went very well. As far as the granite installation, be sure the installer knows about the kitchen cabinet install and exactly what is going in - it will help him with his granite installation.
Description of Work: Company installed granite countertop. Quality work. They also put in a tile floor, again quality work.

+ -1 moreFrom initial meeting at their warehouse, picking out my granite and coming out to measure, estimate, making templates and the 3 day turn-around it was great. And Phil even made an extra trip the last day due to my faucet being a different size. He cleaned up after, and was very professional.
Description of Work: Estimated, measured and fabricated beautiful granite countertops for me, educating me all the way about the abc's of granite.Did a 3 day turn-around.
