By far worst experience I have ever had dealing with someone to perform a job they were paid to do. His prices are extremely high and he doesn't do everything he says or has on the agreement.
Description of Work: Landscaping and Deck Build I will be adding additional information on TMC. Beware please don't make the mistake I did and use TMC LandscapeDesign.

There is nothing left to say about this landscaper other than I would never used him again and would hope no one would use him.
Description of Work: He put in a row of trees, however he did not put them in the ground only surround them with mulch. They were put to close together and we had high winds they were blowed out of line. I had to get another landcaper to clean up the mess I was left with. He also try to change the price that he had given me. I have no trust in this person pricing and landscaping.

Ok, I did a google search and found TMC. I called and the owner, Tom, came out to look at our yard on Friday, October 7, 2011. I told him that we already had the guy to do the plantings, but we needed help with plant type and placement. He told me at that time that he doesn't provide drawings because he changes his mind as he goes. He convinced us that he could do the job and it would save us time and money in the end. We had a large stone planter in our front yard that we were going to have removed. Tom said he could do wonderful things with that huge planter. It had been buit around a tree years ago and we had the tree removed because it was about dead. Anyway, my husband brought to his attention the fact that there would be a tree stump to deal with. Of course he said no problem. We made arrangements to meet him the following Monday. That night we decided to check and see if he had any reviews online and boy were we glad we did. My husband contacted Tom via the TMC website on Friday night and told him that we would not be doing any business with his company. We called our landscaping guy, Vincent, and told him to go ahead with the planter removal the next day. So, Vincent removed the stone part of the planter, but surprise surprise, the roots and stump were so big that we had to have a specialist come in remove those a week later. The stump that Tom said would be no problem turned out to be about huge, about 5' across and 9' deep. On Wednesday Tom contacted us and said he noticed that we had removed the planter and my husband said yes and I emailed you last Friday. We will not be doing business with you. Tom hung up and then called right back and said where do you want me to send the bill for the drawings? My husband reminded him that he had refused to do drawings because 'it's just not the way he worked, he decided on plants and placement as he went'. Then he told him not to contact us again. A week later we received a bill for $300. Well, I was going to write this review then but I decided to let it go. Maybe he was just having a bad day or something. And I knew that he knew that he'd done no drawings. Anyway, this morning, December 21, 2011, my husband saw him sitting in his truck in front of our house drawing. He first thought that maybe it was the nanny so he went out and unlocked the door. Several minutes later he noticed the truck still sitting in the street. The man was looking at the yard and then looking down, like he was drawing and then he realized who it was. So, I guess he's trying to produce a drawing to try and steal some money from us. Our yard has been done for over a month and it looks great, but Tom Cullen and TMC had absolutely nothing to with it. Beware! If you need a landscaper call Joel Parlier for a plan and Vincent Jenkins is one heck of a yard guy. I'm planning to post a review for them next.
Description of Work: Do read reviews. Do believe the reviews. Don't make the mistake of wasting your time.

They did landscaping work for us the whole last summer, starting in May and ending in October. The owner of the place did most of the work. He had really good design ideas. It took them triple the amount of time it was supposed to, and they never fully delivered on any of the ideas. It would have been better to buy ideas off of them and have somebody else do the work. Their pricing was high.

Horrible. Let me just say that I am currently trying to get him to finish my contract with him, which was signed 3/27/10. (It is currently 4/30/10). The job was supposed to take 3 days. Currently 3 trees are laying in my back yard, along with an uncompleted retention wall. After contacting the owner 6 times, the project is still not completed. The owner, Thomas Cullen, is the worst business man I have ever encountered. He will not think twice about lying to your face, when you finally get in touch with him. I recommend anyone who values their time and hard earned money to steer clear from TMC Landscape Design, and it's owner. My Experience: As I said I hired this guy on 3/27/10 to build a retention wall, a picket fence, and plant four trees. On 4/9/10 he shows up to deliver some trees and says he will return on Monday, 4/12/10 to begin work. On Tuesday, 4/13/10, I have to call him because no one has shown up. He states that his loader has broke down and that he will be out by the end of the week. On Friday, 4/16/10, I have to call again because no one has shown up. He says he is on his way, and shows up late in the evening dropping off a little lumber for the wall (which was hand carried mind you). He said he would return the next day and begin work on the wall. One guy showed up and worked 5 hours. This was on 4/17/10. Come Monday, no one shows, so I call. He states that he is out of state on another job, and that someone will be out every day for the remainder of the week. Once again, one man shows up the next day and works for 1 hour until he runs out of lumber. This was 4/20/10. No one shows up the rest of the week. I call him again on 4/24/10 and tell him this situation is ridiculous. He says he will have someone out on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to complete the job (4/27,28,29). Again, no one show, and on 4/28/10 I call. He did not return my call. I call on 4/29/10 and finally get in contact with him, and he states that he will be out the next day, the weekend, and the work will be finished my Wednesday of next week (5/5/10). Surprise, no one showed today. NO CALL, and NO ANSWER when I call.
Description of Work: Building of 50'x5' railroad tie retention wall, perimeter wooden picket fence, back fill and seeding, and installation of four 12-14' trees.
