work was horrendous. Did not use spacers in tile had 1/2 inch 3/8 inch terrible work, his comment when I questioned the spacers he did not need spacers because he had been doing this type of work too long. I have pictures for everything also detailed from contractor that tore everything he did out. Putting in my son's tub he tore out the support on one side of the wall never supported it. My son is disabled. The only thing that supported the disability bars was tile and backer board he did not secure the disability bars to any support. The only thing he was good at was to cover up his mistakes each room had a problem that could have been corrected a couple very easily. He did not measure plan lay it out nothing. I could go on for pages. The address he uses he has NOT lived there in 4 years. it is not a business address but a resident. He receives nothing at that address couple times I have seen his business listed address did not want to give information. Always asking for money. Came at 10 left at 3 did not hear from him for 2 days never called. If you see this name John Digorga, get as far away as you can. Again I have pictures and documentation not to mention other professionals that were out there and saw the work. His prices were not extremely high or low somewhere in the middle. Biggest mistake he gave a price, bought the tile found out later most materials was actually labor since he charged 3 times more than what he paid for it.
Description of Work: tile work. He advertises as concrete and tile work.

I definitely would not recommend this guy at all. There were sections that he had to take back out of the concrete because it was not good. He told me that it was dry and it would blend in with the rest, which it did not. He also told me that it would not crack because I had him pour in about six inches deep concrete and normally it is four. But I had put six inches put in case any moving truck or landscaping truck pulled on to my driveway, I would be sure they wouldn't break the concrete. First of all, this guy John wanted advances. We had it laid out where a third was being asked for several times halfway through the job and then the final payment the last third after. He just kept coming to me giving me all kinds of excuses why he needed an advance, and that he needed to pay this or buy that, etc. It was a little bit more at a time each time and at the end of the job he said it will all blend in, but it did not blend in. I was trying to get him back out here to finish or to correct the problem; he would not return my phone calls. So, I would not recommend him at all. Some of the concrete is okay and some of it is not; he was definitely below standard. The price was okay because I got three bids on it. His was a little better than the others and that is why I took him. I took him on price and I should not have done that. When he was doing the job he was here promptly and he did the job, but it is getting to get him to come back is the problem. When he was doing his job he wanted to get paid; he wanted to get his money. He had it in the contract and put a time period on it. He had to make that time commitment. He was great in terms of punctuality and he was here Johnny on the spot, everyday, because he wanted his money. It was afterwards that I ran into problem. The guy was gone and I was happy when I paid him.
Description of Work: I had my concrete driveway redone by Quality Concrete three years ago. The owner's name is John Di Gorga.

Very poorly - I consider this contractor and his father Patrick Di Gorga to be unreliable with the intent to perform work which I consider to be sub standard and the steps remaining undone as of this date which is July 2, 2009 - almost 11 months since inception.
Description of Work: Masonry work was performed in August 2008 and although I have contacted and spoke to contractor on numerous occasions he has failed to perform the necessary repairs. This included 2 certified letters to John Di Gorga (Contractor) of which I have postal receipts for proof of mailing. I was given repeated assurances by him on the phone that he would correct the masonry problem by replacing all the frontal steps with new bricks using masonry which is properly mortared rather than the substandard workmanship which was provided resulting in 21 steps becoming loose since last August 2008. This substandard workmanship has resulted in a safety hazard to myself and others due to the risk of steps becoming dislodged and photos of defective workmanship are available for review. Further - substandard topsoil was provided which was laden with large stones and will have to be removed and replaced with new soil.
