Hello my name is James Funderburk, I’ve been in the industry for close to 40 years and retired from Sears. We started Pro-Tech in 2018 with just my son and I. We’ve completed hundreds of work orders from Statesville to charlotte and surrounding area’s. UNFINISHED BUSINESS!
Description of Work: IF I could give a NO STAR I would for this so called Company! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO AVOID THIS Company and, or Person(s) from ProTech Appliance Service AT ALL COST! Our washing machine went out of balance. We checked Thumbtack for a service company. On Thumbtack they have good reviews but, DON'T BELIEVE IT! They were they only one that came up for appliance repair. They were picked. Eric responded quickly at first. Showed us the problem why the drum was bouncing off balanced when washing. The shock absorbers and support were busted. Two rear components and one front one. I looked online to see what shock absorbers cost for a front loading GE machine. They're about $100-$120. Not including labor. Eric after going outside to call his 'Office' to get a quote, he showed us estimates for parts and labor which we thought were a bit high. We agreed to pay for the parts and then labor after the work was completed. Totally Unprofessional as we see now from the other reviews. They took the payment for parts and we haven't heard back in over a week. A scam artist All Around! James Funderburk & Eric Funderburk a family operation? If you're reading this DON'T USE THEM! Check Google Reviews First and, or, the BBB.COM to know for sure what kind of business operators you're going to be dealing with and, their reputation! Dec 7, 2023
