Nicholas Tile & Bath

It went very well! I called Tom and explained to him what needed to be done. He came to our house, explained the installation process, and took measurements. He also looked at a tile sample we had and gave a recommendation on a grout color. Tom emailed the quote to us and we gave him the go ahead. We had 2"x4" individual tiles installed and there were A LOT of them. Josh and Branden did an excellent job throughout. They were careful to cover the floor and counter tops to make sure nothing would be damaged. They arrived on time and worked diligently. They were very skilled in getting the tiles to line up evenly and did the same with the grout. They cleaned up very well before leaving. Finally, the tile was sealed and caulked. We are very pleased with Nicholas Tile and Bath and would recommend them to all.

Best experience I could have asked for. Tom and his team are absolutely outstanding. The quality of the work is impeccable - with glass tile no less. Prices were very reasonable and was willing to work with me on several areas (sourced some tile and handled some of the plumbing myself). I recommended him to a few friends who also hired him and were extremely pleased with the results as well. I wish every contractor experience was this great!

Tom and his crew are true professionals in every sense of the word. Their work is truly impressive with all crew members exhibiting clean, detailed, and accurate skills. I tend to have a critical eye but they are so accurate and precise in what they do, I hardly ever found any flaws or came across any errors. The end result was a beautiful master bathroom, better than I would have imagined. I would use Tom again and recommend him and his crew for any tile and bath jobs!

We had the pleasure of hiring Nicholas Tile & Bath do renovate our hideously outdated master bath in the home we recently purchased. Although we had a general idea of what we wanted to do, we asked Tom, the owner, to take us by the hand and guide us through the selection of materials and provide us innovative ideas to make our bath handicap accessible. We are glad we did! Tom has an extensive knowledge about the products and products lines available. His terrific solutions maximized the usage of the bath’s square footage. His approach when giving ideas was no-pressure yet very informative. He gave the positive and negative aspects of all ideas and let us make the decisions. When he and his crew got to work, they were amazing. They showed great respect for our property while doing the bath rebuild. They laid down cloth everywhere they walked protecting our flooring and, at the end of the day, they cleaned their workspace and no one would know they were there. Their workmanship is impeccable and we are extremely pleased with the end product! Our renovated master bath is spectacular. Not only is it beautiful, it is extremely user-friendly. We give them the HIGHEST recommendation possible! Giving a company the highest praise is one thing but rehiring the company to do more work is the ultimate recommendation. And that is exactly what we did. Tom & his crew reconstructed our second bath and the job they did was equal to the first! They are great!! Would we rehire Nicholas Bath & Tile again? We will. Tom and his crew were very professional every step of the way. From planning every detail of planning our new master bathroom including selection of the tub, shower and the stone tile we used, to detailed installation that required true craftsmanship and finally complete troubleshooting if any problems arose at the conclusion of the project. Tom and his team are perfectionists and I would use them again without hesitation.

Very happy that we selected Nicholas Tile and Bath to remodel our bathrooms. Everyone that worked at my home was professional and at the end of each day they cleaned up like they had not even been there. Everything was replaced in both bathrooms including tile floors and a tile shower in the Master Bath. Overall the job went really well and although his proposal was not the least expensive his service and quality of work exceeded expectations. I have nothing but excellent reviews for Tom and his capable crew . When they are doing demolition I was amazed at how clean they are . They never leave without cleaning up on a daily basis . This is due to Joe"s fastidiousness . When it comes to actual tile work you cannot ask for a better craftsman than Josh .....He makes you feel that he is doing a tile job in his own personal home .... He goes above and beyond what you would expect from someone working for you ... He isn't satisfied unless you are..... Tom,the owner, is a true professional . His followup is fantastic and makes sure everything is just right . Tom was very accommodating with all my questions and options I went through. He he had a lot of good design suggestions as well. He didn't like one wall one of his workers did so he had him redo it. Everything turned out great! The only negative would be that it took longer to complete the work. But I will wait for the right quality.

As usual Tom did an excellent job and did exactly what was asked of him. He suggested raising the tile a little higher up the wall which made the tiling job look even better and easier to clean. Suggested a slightly different looking glass block which when compared to normal block really dressed up the window and wall. As usual after each days work everything was left neat and clean. This is the 2nd time I have used Tom for bathroom work, both with excellent results. I would highly recommend Tom to anyone needing bathroom work done.

There is no question that this company does first-rate work. Josh, who did most of the tile work, is a craftsman of the highest order. There was a problem, however, early on with the date work should have begun. When I mentioned this to the owner, he gave us a rebate for the inconvenience caused. Later, it was determined by the owner there was a better way to do the job than as written up on the original estimate. Being a careful consumer, I mentioned how the new method would require less time and therefore the price should be reduced. The owner agreed and lowered the price accordingly. While I am fairly certain he would have done so without me informing him of the discrepancy, I would suggest consumers always be proactive and watch carefully that all work is completed as written, or that monetary adjustments are properly made. Finally, while the project took longer than planned, the quality of the work made everything worthwhile at the end.

Tom and his crew were punctual, neat and professional at all times. Our bathrooms look terrific! We would use Nicholas Tile & Bath again and would recommend Tom and his crew to others.

Tom and his crew were extremely professional. They covered the floors and kept everything as clean as possible throughout the process. Due to the nature of natural stone, we had some color variation issues....undetectable before installation. Tom is a perfectionist (that's a great thing to have in a contractor) and called out a rep from the stone provider. Everything came up and new stone went down. Gorgeous!! Our bathroom looks like a high-end hotel. It's perfect in every way. We had gotten bids from other providers and found Nicholas Tile to be right in the middle. Use this company....worth the wait and they will not disappoint you.

Tom and his crew installed the kitchen tile backsplash in a very professional manner (bullnose ends and all). They were clean and covered up the counter and floor (from the front door to the kitchen) during the process, which was an important detail. They also replaced the outlets with new ones that we had purchased and tested them to make sure they were working. And they even fixed an issue that we had with a section of our floor molding and you would never know there had been a problem. Plus, they are a really nice group! The price was a little higher than the original estimate but was fair and reasonable for all for all of the work that they did. They put in a lot of time and effort with great results. Thanks, Guys!

Tom was more than patient with us. We had unique needs because of an upcoming knee surgery my husband was having. Tom thoroughly explained the different options which would fulfill our needs. The job was completed on time and with absolutely stunning results! I have never see this level of workmanship anywhere. Drop cloths were placed each morning,not only near where they were working, but throughout the path they used to get to the bathroom. Clean up was done everyday. Tom and his crew, Josh and Joe were exceedingly polite and kind. My 2 year old soon-to-be grandson was visiting. These gentleman were so sweet while answering all his "why" questions. I STRONGLY recommend this company.

Tom and his crew are dedicated, talented, and hard-working professionals. They were punctual and polite and kept our home as clean and dust free as possible throughout the entire process. They used drop clothes daily - from our front door to the 2nd floor bathroom, including plastic on the stairway - and they removed the drop cloths and cleaned up after themselves every day. Everything they did was top-notch, their craftsmanship was flawless and we had no complaints at any time during the process. They kept us informed of their progress on a daily basis - what they'd done, what they intended to do next, what time they would arrive - and the information would always be accurate. They listened to us, answered our questions, and offered helpful suggestions and information when necessary. Tom helped us think through a specific "sloped ceiling challenge" and he came up with the perfect solution. I can't say enough good things! We are SO happy with the finished bathroom, we believe the price was fair, we would use them again in a skinny minute, and we would recommend them highly to anyone considering a bathroom project of any kind. Nicholas Tile & Bath is as good as it gets, you won't find better - and I'm writing this review as a happy customer, not a relative or friend!
