Communication was on point from day one!! Home remodeling can be a roller coaster ride. But with Alan and his amazing crew it was a great experience. We even stayed on budget!!! I would hire again in a heart beat. I never write reviews but this time I wanted to share my honest experience. I am so thankful! The Freunds

I can't imagine having a better experience than I did with Angel at Morris and Moffitt. I need to finish an unfinished room in my new construction home, and Angel made the entire process easy and stress-free. He was very responsive and communicative about schedules, plans, and other details I needed to know about. I didn't have to worry about anything! His crew was professional and nice, and they did great work. They finished on time, and I couldn't be happier with the end result. I'd definitely hire Morris and Moffitt again. Thanks, Angel!

We had issues with the Moffitt Project Manager, Angel from day one. Up to this review have not been able to speak to Alan Moffitt, President or David Zelch, VP listed on their website. Multiple inconsistencies with our project. We we told numerous things that did not pan out or were simply untruthful, especially with the project cost estimation. The project manager said he was a GC and we since realize this is simply not true and the company mainly deals with restoration damage services. Angel explained all he does is find a crew to do the work and tacks on 25% for "his" take. In the end we were extremely overcharged for this small project. On the final day we had over 20 punch items on the finish work. This crew had issues with cutting in on every wall. My advice, look elsewhere, save yourself some of your hard earned money for a company who values your business, does the job well and does business honestly.

Project manager and contractors were very professional and communicated well. Final results look great. We would use them again.

The mold/ asbestos remediation went well . BUT then I was left with two workers for all the repairs NEITHER of which spoke English. When I commented to the General contractor that this would not work out because of particular problems with the premises that would require conversations he threatened to take his men and leave the job. 2 x. Very unprofessional! This was after I had waited several weeks for work to start. He bullied me knowing I wouldn’t want to start a search for a new contractor. We lost the use of this summer home from May until August. It went downhill from there. The sheet rock worker did not do a good job leaving several imperfections. Every electric outlet was cut oversize. The painter /caulk guy DID do a good job which was especially needed because it helped cover some of the poor work done by the Sheetrock worker. Their plumber was not better with installations. The Electric and water line was draped over the dishwasher door hinge. The directions specifically stated to be careful to avoid this. The expansion tank for the water heater fell off the wall. The water heater did not work after he left failing check to see if it worked when he was done. He hammered the toilet drain that was too high to break off pieces/chunks so the toilet would seat instead of cutting it with a saw. (photo)The expansion tank for the water heater fell off the wall. They wanted us to use their preferred suppliers all of which charged higher prices for cabinets and counter tops. It is too time consuming to list more.

My designer suggested I reach out to this company to get a quote for our renovation project. I left a voicemail, but did not receive a return call. A few weeks later, I called again and spoke with a lady that said I would receive a callback within 24-48 hours, but most likely by end of day. Here I am, 10 days later, and still no return call. I mentioned the project was "large" so perhaps they don't have the capacity to take on a "large" project at this time...not sure. Hopefully the lack of responsiveness for a quote request is not indicative of their responsiveness during a project.

From the first day when the team arrived at our home to provide an estimate, we had a great experience and felt fully confident in their ability to get the job done right from the beginning. We loved working with Angel and his group of pros. Although pricey, you certainly get what you pay for. I highly recommend this amazing team.

It was an excellent experience, their quote was in line with what the insurance quoted. Dominick, the project manager, keep us up todate, and was hands on with all the work. GREAT company

Every team from Morris and Moffitt was top notch: from the mitigation team, project manager, movers, painters, installers, and cleaners. All were professional, timely, polite, and delivered quality work. I would recommend this company to anyone.

The company was great, Dominick was awesome, made a terrible situation better with their care and professionalism. I would highly recommend these guys for any thing to anyone!!!

They never followed back up with me. They came to look at the job, said they would contact me to do next steps and never called.

It went very well. The timeline was pretty much what I was told it would be. There was good communication between myself and the project manager. Everyone was very professional and courteous. I was very satisfied with the results of the renovation.

Excellent. Can not say enough wonderful things about our experience. From dealing with the owners, to the workers who were in my home every day. Each one was more professional and respectful than the next. And to top it all off the quality of the work was exceptional. Wonderful ideas and craftsmanship. We recently put our house on the market , and everyone who came to look at it stated that the three season's room was their favorite room in the whole house.

We are very pleased with the results. It was a positive experience and I don't have any complaints. This was our second time using Morris & Moffitt.

It took about three months to complete the work.

I highly recommend Morris and Moffitt. I noticed signs of water damage in my kitchen, so I called Morris and Moffitt, from a referral. A human being answered the phone, and someone actually came to my house that evening to survey the damage. They were able to come to my house the very next day to start the work. All the work was completed within a very reasonable schedule and was very high quality. I don't even notice that our house had any damage to begin with. I want to specifically mention three people that I worked with. Carlos Juez was the project manager for the mitigation phase of the work. Dominick Disalvo was the project manager for the repair phase of the work. Both were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were extremely professional and always kept me in the loop about everything being done. Whenever I called them, they answered their phone, even during weekends or evenings. In the rare instance that my call went to voicemail, they called back very quickly. They also always answered my texts within minutes. Carlos and Dominick were very helpful dealing with my insurance company, but I always felt that they were working for me and not for the insurance company. Also - even though they must have been dealing with multiple clients, they always made it feel like I was their only client. I would be happy to work with these guys for any other home work I may need in the future. The other person I would like to mention is Stephany Szyszlo. She works in the Morris and Moffitt office, and she was extremely helpful and patient in dealing with my mortgage company and helping me sort out all my payments and insurance checks.

Communication was a challenge throughout the project. This started with the guys using outdated plans and started digging the footers in the wrong place. The exterior screened porch they built was sloped so badly (toward the house) that it took us several layers of thin coat to level it out before tiling. We also verified before painting that all the wood for the porch was up before they screened it in and were told that it was. Then they added several more pieces of wood and covered them with screen so we couldn't paint them first. At the tail end, they put the wrong color gutters and soffitt vents up and spray painted them, rather then replacing. The drywall guy used our ladder, broom and dust pan and left them covered in drywall mud for us to clean up. He left two holes in the wall in the new room that we didn't notice until after our final walkthrough and for some reason put drywall patches up on walls and ceilings in areas he hadn't dry-walled in so that we had to paint areas we hadn't planned on painting. Throughout the process I felt like it was up to us to point out problems and mistakes because the GC wasn't inspecting carefully. On the plus side, we are incredibly please with the final product now that we've lived there for a while.

They communicated throughtout the process and fixed anything I had concerns about.

Morris and Moffitt is a great company and I'd personally recommend them to anyone with any size project. Their project manager (Esiquio Cortes) was great to work with and was very responsive, honest, and professional. The completion of the project only took 6 days (we had quite a bit of work to get done). The project scope included electrical, drywall, paint, flooring, and cleaning (the cleaning crew is fantastic). It's likely I'll be hiring them again in the near future for other projects.

The work was completed to our satisfaction, and Angel was a pleasure to work - making sure that we were completely satisfied throughout the process.

We got in touch with them, they were prompt and they came out right away. I did use a personal friend, because I got a cheaper price from them then I did from Morris & Moffitt. I think the quote was for $7,500 or something like that. The price wasn?t too good. They were good, they followed through after the estimate. When I mentioned to them that they were a little high, they tried to bring it down a little bit. They did bring it down a little bit, but it was still didn?t beat the deal from the other person. They did follow through on everything. I would certainly call them for an estimate, if they were still high I probably would not use them. They did well.

Our GC was extremely responsive and listened to our every request and question. Morris and Moffit were always on time and got started on our project immediately, which was very much appreciated as we had to move out of our house with little ones due to the damage. Every person I met was kind and helpful and eager to please. We had such a great experience we are asking them to re-do our master bathroom. I would highly recommend their services for any house repair or updating needs. Our house looks better then it did before the water damage and we couldn't be more pleased.

As with 99% of renovations, unexpected issues arose and the company addressed each of them without adding to their estimate. They went above and beyond what we cotracted thme to do.

Esiquio and his team are fantastic! Before we started this project, I was worried that we would not find a company that would give us quality work and quality service because we did not have a huge, $75k project. Not a problem with Morris & Moffitt! I know they handle much bigger projects than ours, but they made us feel like our project was the most important. The estimate was around $8k, which was reasonable compared to other estimates, and they ended up finishing the job for less. Everyone we worked with through Morris & Moffitt was very responsive from beginning to end and we always knew what to expect and when. They took pains to make sure everything was exactly right. They do beautiful quality work and I would not hesitate to use them again.

THIS is the company to go with, so don't hit your back button! Get in touch with Allan Moffitt, and he will take care of you! Our story: We hired a contractor who turned out to literally be a thief. Beware of Danny Wright DBA Danco Builders. Be advised, there is a legitimate Danco. This thief attaches himself to honorable names to throw you off. After firing and filing a lawsuit against Danny Wright, we sought the services of Morris & Moffitt. Alan was a great project manager! He had to completely undo what Danco did to us, so it was an all-new renovation. Alan is very responsive and is very knowledgeable. I've been told by his sub-contractors that it is considered an honor to work for his company because their standards are so high. Morris and Moffitt basically saved our house that probably would have been condemned in the condition it was in. It's not just the high quality of work that impressed me, but they are great at aligning the sub-contractors so there is no lull in the work. When you request an estimate, it is professionally laid out with to-scale drawings of your dwelling. He stuck by the estimate and did not nickel-and-dime us. The price quoted IS the price. Of course, there can be things that come up but there were no real surprises. Morris & Moffitt gave us peace of mind, and it was great to not worry. After what we experienced with Danny Wright (Danco), Morris & Moffitt calmed our fears. They sincerely care about your project as much as you do.
