Always responsive, and reasonably priced. Environmental Services worked with me and my schedule to fit in exactly when/where I needed them. I will never hire another plumber again. Only Environmental Services.

He texted me to confirm prior to arriving to let me know he was on his way, which I appreciated. What I like about Jeff is that he has strong communication skills, is approachable and very polite and professional. He unclogged my drain with ease and helped with my gas logs. I highly recommend him and will be using him again in the future.
Description of Work: I had a stopped shower drain and my gas logs were emitting a bad odor that needed to be addressed.

+ 1 moreIt was determined that we needed a new part to fix our plumbing problem. Jeff came to our home with the part and went into our crawlspace. Once there, he found that the original part was installed improperly. He was able to correct the problem without installing a new part. His knowledge and honesty saved us a big bill. BTW, the plumbing works perfectly now. We also had his company install a ventless fireplace, which they installed for a resonable price.

We purchased our new home and were left with no instructions on the existing gas logs. Jeff was very knowledgeable with our log set. He even ran out to purchase a hearth master key for me. While at our home Jeff explained the features of our logs. He stayed until I felt comfortable using the set. He also added volcanic rocks at my request to improve the overall look of our fireplace. I really appreciate Jeff's attention to detail and service. Will use again! He made this Mommy's day! Thanks again!

He finished previous job early and called to see if we wanted him to come earlier than scheduled. Jeff troubleshooted the problem with the gas logs quickly and fixed. He then cleaned the inside of the fireplace glass.. We couldn't be more pleased with his professionalism and work. We will use his services again and recommend him most highly

+ -1 moreDuring the installation of the gas log fireplace unit, Jeff noticed a slight bit of exhaust fumes. However, when he closed the screen doors, he noticed the exhaust disappeared. It was safe to use with the screen doors in the closed position, but he recommended to have a steel panel be made and installed to mimic the upper depth of the screen enclosure. He ran into problems with his current steel cutter with not getting the job accomplished. He apologized for the delay and promised to make it up to us. He called on 3/12/14 to say he was getting the piece cut and he would return the following day after painting it. He came as promised, made the necessary installation adjustments, and caulked the panel in place. It is beautiful (if that is possible for a functional piece of steel)--by painting the panel it "disappears" into the background and is not an eyesore at all!! We had planned to pay for the plumbing job and the fireplace panel at the time of the panel installation. Since we waited so long, Jeff wrote off the panel creation and the first plumbing cost. We just paid for an additional pipe snaking at this visit. Jeff's visits have convinced us that his worth ethic is above and beyond standards. Each time Jeff left, we said, "He is such a nice man!!!" Page of Happiness award is just the minimum for accolades!!
Description of Work: Initial contact with Jeff was for installation of a gas line for a new gas log fireplace installation. He put in the line, it passed inspection, and he returned to install the gas log unit. As a general plumber he also snaked out our master bath shower and cleaned the sewage exhaust pipe on the roof (total price for clearing the pipes was $100).

The installation went very smoothly. My feedback re: placement was considered prior to installation and we talked out several options to determine what would look best. All interactions were extremely pleasant, polite, and professional. Most importantly, I am happy with the end results of the lanterns and feel that they were safely installed.

When I tried to get the tech person to come back I found out that he was critically ill in the hospital. I called EPS and they worked me into their busy schedule the next day. Jeff figured out the problem within 10 min. Done in 30 min. Very knowledgable and neat. Will def use again.

Description of Work: I called Environmental Plumbing because my gas logs weren't working properly, but I also realized that our grill needed cleaning and repair, and so was pleased to see that I could have both issues addressed by the same company. I was able to get an appointment within the next few days.Jeff called shortly before the appointment time to let me know that he was on his way but would be a few minutes late, and I very much appreciated his professionalism and courtesy in letting me know. Once he arrived, Jeff asked a few questions and then went right to work on the fireplace. He told me what he was doing every step of the way, and unlike many repair people did not try to convince me to do work that did not need to be done. Once he was done with the fireplace (it wasn't entirely done, as he needed a part to fix it), he went out to work on the grill. He cleaned it (which it needed badly), identified some parts which he thought should be replaced, but he was clear that it was optional. He checked prices so that I would know the estimated expense for the parts and rest of the work, made sure that everything was cleaned up, and left with a promise to call and set a date for him to come back once the parts were in. I received a call scheduling the follow-up appointment the next day. When the day arrived, Jeff came on time, was able to fix the gas logs with only a minor part and also completed the grill repair. The total repair expense (labor and parts) was quite reasonable, especially since he had to make two trips. I was very impressed with his punctuality, professionalism, efficiency and the price.

His work was reasonably priced and he took the time to explain what he was doing and why. I highly recommend the company and nominate them for a "happiness" award.
Description of Work: They fixed a gas leak in the gas line to my gas grill, fixed the igniter on the gas grill and got the grill running properly. They also replaced the fixed gas line to the grill with a flexible line. They serviced the gas fireplace log, got it working and explained its operation (since I did not have an owners manual). They also fixed a gas line problem with the gas range in the kitchen much more quickly and easily than I anticipated.

+ -1 moreI hired EPS to clean and check out my gas logs mostly for peace of mind as I can clean the logs myself, but I was worried about the gas pipe which pushed up when the on/off valve was moved to the off position. Chad (hope I remembered the name correctly) cleaned the logs, pilot, etc., and was very pleasant, informative, and efficient. He also added some embers as mine were about gone. Very pleased and since this is a plumbing company, I plan to use them for my next plumbing problem as well.

The estimate was very close to the final total even with unforeseen complications due to 90 yr old pipes and existing 'quick fixes' by previous owners. He used pex and pvc for the new lines and sewer connections. I brought in some antique fixtures and Chad excelled at fitting these all together despite some rather significant sizing differences. Installation of fixtures probably accounted for half the expenses due to the extra time needed to make sure they all fit together correctly. Since I think this company has a limited number of employees and many previous, loyal customers, scheduling got a little complicated at times, but I wasn't on a rigid timeline so that didn't really matter. Once I finish my kitchen I'll be calling them back in to do some new plumbing and to hook up the new sink. These guys truly are excellent!

I appreciate that he was diligent and all that because it could have been a serious problem if he hadn’t installed the regulator. He was very prompt, he did top-notch work, and he did everything at a fair price.
