I was very pleased with the service and will continue to use them.

On Tuesday, 5/3/11, when it became obvious a tall leaning pine tree in our back yard was going to be in the way of construction for a new shed, I called Debra. She had a three man crew come by on Wednesday afternoon prepared to take it down, but it turned out to be a bit more complicated than anticipated. Since the shed construction had already begun, and the tree was in the midst of a number of other trees, it could not be "felled," but had to be taken down in sections. That would require much more time, and, alas, more money. The crew returned at 7:45 AM (15 minutes early) on Thursday, 5/5/11. The ballet in the treetops is an amazing thing to watch. WOW. My pictures do not do it justice. That 65-70' pine tree was taken down, turned into mulch and hauled away without a trace in 1.5 hours. These guys are professional from the moment they arrive. They are well-coordinated and well-versed in the intricacies of a highly dangerous job. They have a great deal of respect for their customer, their boss and all aspects of their job. I also concluded in my observations that Affordable has the right kind of equipment. Isn't that always the best way? It is a pleasure to do business with a company who can offer such outstanding service. While it might seem too expensive to some to pay $700 for one tree, you just have to consider the danger, the intricacies involved in removal of each tree, the number of people on the crew, the cost of the equipment involved and last, but not least, the quality of the job you want to have done. I would be happy to recommend them to family, friend or foe!!!

It went very well. Although, when I called them to come back for something else I couldn't get a hold of them. I left a message and they didn't return my call. They did a good job. They did their job, and went on their way.

A huge tree branch the size of a normal-sized tree fell on my chain link fence. It bent a large portion of the fence all the way to the ground. They came out right away and gave me an estimate. They were back the next day to do the work. They cleaned up and the fence has held. Will use them again if the need arises.

Contacted Debby who responded immediately with a visit and a written estimate of the work required. Crew was on time, worked quickly and effectively, cleaned up the area and moved on.

The work went very well. They arrived on time, had sufficient crew/equipment, and went directly to work. They moved the patio furniture so that, when moving branches, they wouldn't rub against that. They parked their chipper so that the house was not in danger of flying chips. Based on the difficulty of the main tree; they finished in an adequate amount of time. They needed to drag some of the larger pieces along my neighbor's driveway. I had gotten permission from my neighbor to do this prior to the work; but they went the extra mile and also asked the neighbor's permission face to face, so that there wouldn't be any misunderstanding. They cleaned both my driveway and the neighbor's driveway immaculately.

Because it is such a small job, I had trouble finding someone willing to go the work. The bigger companies advised me that the price would be much higher with them. I called Affordable Fence and Tree, and they were very prompt and were willing to do the work quickly. My Labrador was escaping, so I requested that they come out immediately, and they sent a female inspector out. They came out and fixed the 10 foot stretch. They were really nice people, and their prices were reasonable--I also got an estimate to have two dead trees removed at a later time. They set the fence posts in a large amount of cement so the dog would not be able to get out again. They came when they said they would come and they cleaned up well afterward.

Because the temperatures were in the high nineties and the humidity was very high, Affordable's employees had to stop work early in the day for safety reasons. To take care of our requests to remove the trees in a timely manner, they arrived early to satisfy our schedule. As an unexpected perk, the employees removed all debris from our property. If the trees hadn't been gone, we would not have known they were there!

EXCELLENT WORK AND CLEANED UP AFTERWARDS (INCLUDING BLOWING DEBRIS OFF THE STREET). PERSONNEL WERE PERSONABLE AND DID THE JOB IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME. PRICING WAS FAIR AND AS QUOTED.

I HAD TO CHANGE MY APPOINTMENT TIMES, DUE TO RAIN, ETC. BUT MRS BLASKEY, THE OWNER, WAS VERY PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH. I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY BEFORE, AND HAVE BEEN VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK.

THEY DID NOT WANT TO GET INVOLVED WITH NEIGHBOR THAT I WAS IN DISPUTE WITH AT ALL. I WAS THINKING THAT THEY WOULD BRING IN A MACHINE TO TAKE THE TREE DOWN, BUT INSTEAD THEY LET IT FALL IN HER DRIVE WAY WHICH I DID NOT CARE FOR AT ALL.

THE EMPLOYEE WAS VERY NICE AND FRIENDLY TO SPEAK WITH ABOUT AN ESTIMATE AND GETTING THE WORK DONE. ON ONE OCCASION, A PHONE CALL WAS NOT RETURNED FOR TWO OR THREE DAYS, BUT ALL THE OTHER CALLS WERE RETURNED QUITE PROMPTLY. I WAS NOT AT HOME WHEN THE WORK WAS PERFORMED. I WAS A LITTLE CONCERNED ABOUT WHAT TO EXPECT B/C TWO OTHER TREE REMOVAL COMPANIES ESTIMATED THAT ONLY THE TREE REMOVAL WOULD COST $750, WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE THEIR TOTAL CHARGE. I WAS EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THE WORK THEY PERFORMED. THE ONLY THING I WISH I HAD DONE WAS TO HAVE THE STUMP REMOVED AS WELL. THEY OFFERED, BUT I DIDN'T TAKE THEM UP ON THE OFFER.

SHE NEVER PROVIDED A QUOTE ON THE STUMP GRINDING WORK, NOR PROVIDED ANY FOLLOW UP COMMUNICATION.

I LEFT 3 MESSAGES THE WEEK OF JUNE 27TH TO ASK WHEN SOMEONE WOULD STOP BACK OUT TO DISCUSS CHANGES I WANTED DONE FROM THE INITIAL ESTIMATE. I ALSO WANTED TO GET AN UPDATE ON WHEN THE FENCE COULD BE INSTALLED. THERE WAS NO RESPONSE. MY WIFE ALSO LEFT ONE MESSAGE THIS SAME WEEK. WE CALLED AND CANCELLED THE JOB WITH THEM ON MONDAY, 7/5. THE GENTLEMAN WHO TOOK THIS MESSAGE WAS INDIFFERENT TO THE FACT WE WERE CANCELING. THE OWNER WAS VERY NICE AND PLEASANT. THE SHAME OF IT IS THEY HAD THE BEST PRICE.

PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE, AND DEBORAH AND HER CREW ARE VERY HONEST AND PROFESSIONAL.
