Daniel and his team were able to start work earlier than expected, which was nice for us. They showed up when they said they would and cleaned up/repaired the lawn completely when they were done. The ground was extremely wet while they were working. They were especially diligent to ensure that the area under the new patio was appropriately packed and dry before installing the pavers.

Very easy to deal with and got a great value. I have used this company several times and they always are a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend

We had several estimates for the work. Daniel's proposal not only best addressed our requests, his project drawings were professional and helped us to visualize what the finished product would look like. His crew was maticulous in their stone workwork. He was able to incorporate last minute changes like landscape lighting and still completed the project on time for a wedding function and within his estimates. We have received numerous compliments on our patio and enjoy it just about every evening. Great job!

The project went great. This is the second time we used Island Creek and didn't hesitate using them again. The owner, Daniel Griffin, is great to work with. He met with us on a few occasions prior to the installation to go over our plan and look at our site. He made a lot of helpful suggestions for plant changes or recommendations, as well as what should be done to make the project a success. Daniel is very knowledgeable, patient, thorough, and easy to work with. He makes customer service a high priority and that is reflected in the end product. His crew, led by James, is very good and equally great to work with. We are very pleased with our project, our yard is totally transformed, and we highly recommend using Island Creek.

Our experience with Island Creek Landscaping was outstanding. The job included edging installation followed by ground covers of mulch, stone, and pine needles. Some shrubs were also replaced. Flooding in low areas of our yard was eliminated with several truckloads of fill dirt and an excellent grading job. We would definitely use them again and recommend them highly.

They actually arrived a day early which suited me just fine and finished the next day. Overall it went very smoothly. No hiccups that I was aware of, and I did not have to request any do-overs or corrections.

After an initial miscommunication, the job was completed very much to our satisfaction. Daniel is a true professional, and we love the overall look! We are no longer the bane of our neighborhood!

Their proposal was very detailed and allowed for us to easily delete certain items to keep it within our budget. The actual work was completed as proposed and Island Creek was very willing to make further refinements in their work when asked. They obviously wanted us to be very satisfied with their work. Several weeks later, we made an inquiry about the tree that they added in the front, and Daniel returned a few days later to check out our concern and reassure us that the tree was fine.

Service overall was excellent. They were on time for the estimate and the two days they came out for the job. The first day there was a great deal of rain and they did their best to not tear up our yard with their Bobcat. The few spots that the Bobcat tore up they took care of by planting new grass. We had a miscommunication about a tree in the back that was supposed to be pulled, and they came back after the job was complete (and they were paid) and took care of it. Initially they planted Dianthus 'Mountain Mist' for around our light post. There was something wrong with these flowers and they replaced them after a few weeks with day lilies. Overall the experience was an excellent one.

The quality of work was outstanding. The owner was a very family kind of person, has good values, honest, upfront and does what he says. They were outstanding people.

Daniel and his crew (including brother James) were terrific! Daniel provided an estimate via email within two days. He returned to give us a more visual idea of the plans. Weather delayed the project for a few days, but once they showed up, they were right to work, excavating, planning the borders, etc. When Daniel needed to leave the site, James was in charge of the crew and kept things moving. As things progressed, Daniel asked for our opinion when options were available and he and James were flexible when we wanted something different than what we saw. Daniel runs a tight ship--yard was cleaned each night. Final cleaning involved raking out tractor tracks and completely seeding/haying any area they touched. They even put out pine needles in the area to give it a completed look. Daniel and James are fine gentlemen with a good sense of what is needed to keep the client happy!

Island Creek did a great job and they were very punctual. They were very professional and they cleaned up after themselves very well. The quality of the work was excellent.

They showed up for the estimate when promised. Worked around my schedule to do it after hours. Two days later we were provided a design and detailed estimate. We requested some minor changes which were accommodated when the work was done. It was scheduled two weeks later and completed very quickly. We were given detailed instructions on care and watering. It has now been a month and all plants are healthy and thriving. We are very pleased with the results.

Everything went very well. Daniel worked with us to get within our budget. He was very professional when he realized that he needed to send his crew back a second day to finish the job. He and his crew were very neat with their work and seemed to enjoy what they did. They were also very timely and flexible with product needed as he keeps a lot of things such as mulch in stock.

Daniel was great to work with. When we met to look at the job he listened to my ideas, offered some of his own along with some options. I wasn't sure that I could afford to do the stone patio I wanted so he quoted that separately. (I did not have the patio done now, but will call Daniel to do it when I'm ready) They arrived to work as promised, and took about 4 days to complete the work. The access to my back yard is very tight and they were careful with their machine to not damage my neighbor's lawn. The preparation for laying the stones was meticulous and precise with a lot of attention paid to keeping the new walls in line with some existing walls. They also removed some other wood planting beds at the front curb at no additional cost. Daniel and his crew did a great job of clearing up the water issues I had and greatly improved the look of my backyard patio.

Daniel and crew were on time and completed the work in one day. Daniel came back after about 10 days to check on the new shrubbery

Daniel came out and looked at our problem, described what we needed to do and gave us an estimate the next day. Two weeks later they came out and installed the solution, which has worked well.

This is the third project that Daniel has done for us. He does an excellent job translating our sketchy, vague ideas into reality. We'll always call him first.

After a few phone calls and e-mails, Daniel and I arranged a time for him to come to the house so he could see first hand what I wanted to be done. We discussed pricing and what I wanted and what was possible with the layout of my yard. He then walked around taking notes and getting an idea of what he had to work with. A few days later, he contacted me with a very fair estimate completely broken down into specific detail of what the charges were for. He also included a website so I could read about the plants he wanted to use in my yard so I could have a better idea about what he was planning. I was very pleased. He really listened to what I wanted and he also took into consideration the climate. He was very knowledgeable about what plants would do well with the weather conditions here and nicely combined that knowledge with what I wanted my yard to look like. We then made arrangements for him to come and do the work. He came that day with his crew and did all the digging up and removal on day one, and finished all the plantings and trimming of existing landscaping on day two. I was very impressed with the quality, efficiency and professionalism of the entire operation. I am hoping to have some money saved up by spring so they can come back and to my back yard!

The experience was fantastic. They got the whole job done in a day. About three days later, we got an inch of rain and all the water drained the way that it was supposed to. There was not water setting anywhere. I am very satisfied with them and would recommend them.

Daniel was very professional, responsive and had a very reasonable rate. They did a great job and we will use them again in the future.

The job went extremely well and we are very pleased with the work done by Daniel Griffin, who is the owner, and his excellent crew. Daniel met with us to review our landscape plan which a landscape designer had drawn. He was very helpful in answering questions related to our project and making suggestions where he thought things could be improved. Daniel was very responsive and knowledgeable about plants and landscaping in general. Daniel and his crew arrived on a Monday morning and proceeded to rip out all of our old plants. They proceeded on with the rest of the job as described in section one, work hard, and were finished by the end of the next day. Daniel was very good about keeping us informed with what he was doing and asked us our preferences where more than one choice was possible. They were very careful to follow the plan and precise in the placement of plants. They did an excellent job of leaving the surrounding lawn in good shape and were respectful of our neighbors property. They did a very good job of cleaning up the site upon completion. Island Creek Landscape is an excellent company. They are professional, knowledgeable, and take pride in doing the job the right way. They give a lot of attention to detail and customer service.

Daniel Griffin proposed a landscape plan and suggested a website so that I could see plants with which I was not familiar. The workers came when they said they would, and were polite and hard-working the entire time. They were able to trim several trees that were against the house, which meant that I didn't have to call a tree service to finish the work (as I would have had to do with some other landscapers). I wanted some shrubs trimmed below my kitchen window so I could see the driveway, without having them cut too short, and they worked with me until they were the height I wanted. They asked whether I was satisfied with the work they had done, and quickly revised anything that I pointed out I would prefer to have done a different way. They watered everything they had planted plus my impatiens, which had been drooping a bit. They sorted out my many hoses and rolled them up more neatly than they had been. I was thrilled that they found a faucet on the other side of the house that I didn't even know was there. They removed the plants I wanted removed and were able to dig up all the stumps. The plantings are beautiful. My husband and I separately commented on the fact that the inclusion of one distinctive shrub on both sides of the pool marked the landscaping look like a unified whole even though the two sides are separated by some existing plantings and some steps.

Daniel was great at showing us different options and making suggestions and helping us stretch our dollar to get the most bang for our buck. Daniel was also very easy to get in touch with and always professional. I was very impressed.
