Description of Work: My husband and I were excited to redo our landscape, but didn't know where to start. We purchased the $89 landscape design package deal for both the front and back yards. The owner reached out immediately to schedule a consultation appointment for 3.30.16; Cecil came out and we walked the property and went over everything we were looking for and exactly what we didn't want. For example, we wanted all evergreens, and didn't want anything poisonous to dogs; we wanted to use solar lighting and have a big fire pit, etc. Cecil told us it would be about 2 weeks for the design b/c they sold more Angie's List deals than they thought they would. Three weeks later, on April 21st, I called and spoke to Linda and she told me to expect a call from Cecil within the next week. I called again at the end of week 4 and spoke to Linda, and again she told me it would be ready by the end of the following week. We scheduled an appointment @ 12:30pm on 5/6/16, more than one month after the initial consultation. I pleaded with her to just send us the plan Cecil had drawn up so I could get things scheduled for delivery (storage building, hot tub, etc.). I couldn't get this done without some sort of plan. She told me she would contact Cecil and try to get it done for me, but to not expect any pricing quote on the plan; I was fine with that. I never received any communication. Then the day before our scheduled appointment I called to confirm the appointment, and was told I was not on the schedule. Linda asked me who I had spoken with and with whom I made the appointment. She seem taken aback when I informed her that it was with her I had spoken with to make the arrangements. She worked it out so that Cecil could some and see us on the previously "scheduled" appointment date. When we went over the plan it included almost nothing we talked about. He would say it was his design plan, then he would say that "I told my boss not to include that plant", and so on. The plan didn't include any aspects of lighting or other features we spoke about. When I asked about the things that were not included I was told that he had so many plans to do he couldn't remember what everyone wanted, and his boss couldn't read his handwriting when his boss did the plans. When we were done he complained..."Well, I know what I am going to be doing with my weekend". We got the final plan and quote back and it still wasn't right; however, it was Much Better. The total cost of the project was $40k, more than double our budget. This budget included a $16,000 LED lighting plan! (Remember? I asked for solar). Again, just another example of how they didn't listen to a word we said! On 5/13/16 I got an email from the company asking us to review our experience, which I have put off until now. It was over a month later that they reached out to follow up with us to see if we wanted to go forward with the plan. By that time I had vetted, interviewed, and hired another company who were half way done with the project; on time and on budget. Part of that process was having a completely new plan drawn up; one that met our specific needs and wants. With Carolina Greenscapes of Matthews, we are getting amazing service and communication. We are also getting more than we wanted for less than we thought.

The design had to be re-done and I had to go back to them with break downs on pricing. I didn't use this company as the price was too high. I will use the design they I paid for and probably do the work myself.

Description of Work: We purchased a deal from Angie's List for Hyatt to prepare a plan to revise the landscaping in the front of our home. Cecil was prompt for both of our appointments and was really wonderful to work with. He was very patient with our questions and we really love the plant selections that he recommended for our home.

Description of Work: I live in a rural area and needed some landscape lighting for security as well as enhance the property. He arrived on time, was very professional,courteous, and knowledgeable. work was done on half a day as he promised. I would not hesitate to use him again.

Description of Work: Hyatt Landscaping removed 5 sizeable tree stumps, scraped the entire backyard surface, completed full-yard grading/shaping, moved a storage shed and seeded grass for the entire yard.

Description of Work: Called twice and they never returned our call. We called back again a few weeks later (because a friend had recommended them) and they came out to give an estimate on grading, drainage, landscaping & removal of some bushes.

Description of Work: I last used Hyatt Landscaping 2 weeks ago for landscaping. They did a whole yard design, planting, and a lot of yard work.

Description of Work: I had 25 trees and stumps removed from my front and backyard. After the tree company was finished, Tony and his people came in and regraded my lot which is a little over 1/2 acre. Tony set up lasers to grade for proper water flow front and rear. They then power raked the entire area and hand raked the same area following up with seeding and strawing the area.
