+ -1 moreMy experience with McKinney Computer Services Inc. was terrible. They misdiagnosed the problem and wasn't able to fix it. I took it to a different company and they said McKinney gave a completely wrong diagnosis. When I complained about it, they didn't do anything to help. They just stopped talking to me.
Description of Work: They were supposed to repair my computer.

+ -1 moreMcKinney Computer Services, Spruce Pine, N.C., diagnosed my computer problem as a bad videocard which needed to be replaced for a charge of $78.00, which they did after a two week wait. The computer still had the same problem and when I called to ask about further repair, they said they were busy with commercial accounts and didn't know when they would get to my computer. I took the computer to a different repair shop and discovered the problem was not the videocard, but rather the power supply and the videocard was good. McKinney didn't charge much but they didn't fix the problem and misdiagnosed it.
Description of Work: I took a computer for repair to McKinney Computer Services, Spruce Pine, N.C. and the technician diagnosed the problem as a software update being stored in the wrong location on the hard drive. One week later they called and said the problem was a bad video card which would have to be ordered and replaced for a charge of $78.00. Two weeks later they said the computer was fixed, however it was not and when I asked about bringing it for further service, they said they were busy with commercial accounts and didn't know when they could get to it.
