A tech who was very patronizing came out on a Friday to diagnose the problem. Blower fan had chewed itself up and needed to be replaced. Heard nothing back that day and waited thru the weekend with no air. Finally decided to give em a call late on Monday to check the status and was told they did not plan on ordering my parts until Wednesday for no apparent reason. So I was expected to just wait it out for them to order and then for it to arrive. On Tuesday I just decided to go with someone else and they came out there and had part ordered same day. When I emailed the owner of Rutherford to inform him he had lost my biz and anyone I could influence he told me he would now make my job a VIP as if I was not important before. Too little too late.

I have been happy with them as they are very reliable. They are very economical as well and I would highly recommend them.

The reason for a B is when we got the estimate I was told we would get a new part and when they did the install we did not get that new part.

It was making a pretty bad sound, but the tech found that it was just the drain line so it ended up being a minimal service. They did a good job, didn't try to take advantage. They could've told me it was something else, but he said it was just a clogged drain line. They only charged me for a service call. They were able to come out and solve my problem quickly without any real expense.

They were supposed to have had an answering service for after hour calls, but I had to leave a voicemail. The guy who called back the next day around lunch time, said someone had forgotten to set it up for the night. I understand people get busy, but when you're a customer you expect to be able to get your problem fixed. They didn't seem to care about the problem and their customer.

This company gets an A+. Eric gave me a quote over the phone and then sent Jason out to confirm the price and the work that needed to be done. The crew showed up on time a replaced my old heat pump and ran some new wiring. The crew was polite and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend Rutherfordton heating and air.

Their technician was here less than ten mins and left! I was exhausted after being awake all night wondering if this was a total waste of hard earned money and quickly dosed off thinking all the repairs were done professionally. To my surprise I woke up a few hours later with a cool house when I needed heat! Repairs were not complete and again I felt like a fool for using this company! Long story short is the installation was shabby and quot;they dropped the outside unitand quot; my unit was freezing over the first winter! And only 3 months after a full inspection my outside coil was ruptured costing over 500$ for repairs. I'm left with spending more out of pocket and haven't saved a dime on utility bills. Now the compressor is rattling like its about to through a piston! Do yourself a favor and call Bo! Forest city heating and air can take care of your warranty issues and it will be done right the first time! Eric will lie to you like everyday business and I have proof! Christian don't mean your a garranteed ticket to heaven! My sister had two heat pumps installed from the same company for a cost of $10,000.00 only to find out the next summer her upstairs unit couldn't keep up and had the technicians out several times before someone realized the units were flipped and had to be replumbed correctly! Unacceptable work from this company!

From the very beginning to the very end, Rutherford Heating and Air was superb. When the HVAC system of an elderly Korean War Veteran stopped functioning during August I knew I needed fast, reliable assistance. I called three places: a local independent repairman, Lowe's of Statesville, and The Home Depot of Statesville (The Home Depot is an authorized Rheem dealer for Rowan, Davie, and Iredell counties). The local repairman never returned my call. Lowe's called the next day to get more information. The Home Depot put me in touch immediately with Rutherford Heating and Air, their Rheem contractor. Rutherford Heating and Air made an appointment for the next day to perform an initial assessment. A technician came out the same week to do the final measurements for the installation. The installation team returned one week later to complete the installation. The installation was done in one day. I met personally with four employees from the company and spoke with two others only on the phone and each one was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. They did the work quickly and pleasantly, even when they had to go into the crawlspace with spiderwebs! The technicians who did the final installation did a thorough testing of the system to make sure everything worked as expected, programmed the thermostat, then took the time to show the resident and me how to use the new digital thermostat. All appointments were kept and technicians arrived on time. Even though Rutherford Heating and Air is located in Spindale, NC, they provide service to all of NC as well as areas in bordering states.

They are very good. I chose them over probably it was just a price point and they were also I thought good, helpful and all of those things. I actually lot of people can install new, but the repairs and what not that were I really find that whoever meets the road with people. You know do they stand behind it and and can they come out and actually fix what is wrong. I thought like they were just on top of things. I would use them again.

Things went well. He was very nice and friendly and informative. Our HVAC was working just fine when he left. We've used this company several times before. It is our favorite HVAC company.

They were very professional.They had to order the fan. There was no charge for the diagnosis and return visit to install the fan.

It went very good. I've reccomeded them to others and like their work. They do alot of work for the churches in the area. They are reliable, dependable and good people.

The technician was on time, courteous and thorough. We just bought this house and the unit had not been serviced in years. He took the top grill and fan assembly off the outside unit and thoroughly cleaned the coils, performed test and waxed the exterior. Under the house he cleaned the dust from the coils and performed the necessary checks. The unit took 1 lb of freon which was included in the service. He did find one electrical component that needed to be replaced. This was no surprise considering the system is 11 years old. With the one year service contract I received 10% off the part. The technician did not try to sell me additional services or add ons. I believe the service performed by Rutherford Heating and Air was superior to service that I've received from other Heating and Air companies over the years. Very happy with the service preformed and the value.
