+ 1 moreI contacted Better-View Renovations when I was searching for someone who could assemble a tiny cabin kit I was contemplating for my camp. After talking with Jeff Cannon I canceled the idea of the kit and hired him to build the cabin from scratch. Jeff drew a proposed cabin on his computer, then built it in an efficient way to keep within my small budget. While on the site he noticed my new driveway lacked some support on the cabin side. Jeff continued on the job to build a supporting wall for the driveway. The following year I hired Better-View Renovations again to add a side building. The tiny cabin has now been in place for 3 years and I'm very pleased with it. My guests and neighbors often comment on how cute my cabin looks. The relationship with Better-View Renovations and Jeff Cannon has been excellent. I live 100 miles away from the camp. During construction I would receive calls from Jeff to inquire about one detail or another. He completed the work within the time frame and was easy to relate with. I would definitively use this company again.
Description of Work: Designed and built a 9x12 cabin and a side building, installed a block wall.

+ -1 moreJeff is very conscientious about doing work that he can be proud of, as well as work that will please the homeowner. He is willing to listen to any suggestions, answer all of our questions, and continually calls us outside to make sure we are satisfied with each segment of our new porch construciton. We could not ask for any better service!! We know that we will enjoy our porch for many years. Another thing we are sure of is that we will remember that Jeff Cannon of Better-View Renovations does quality work, is honest, reliable, and can be trusted to do work that any person would be pleased with!! He is devoted to building structures which give him a stellar reputation.
Description of Work: Jeff Cannon came to our home to do an estimate for building a covered porch. He has a program on which he can do graphics of the project, so the customer can see how his remodeling will look upon completion. Once he has those graphics prepared, he sends them via email, along with an estimate. This was a great way for us to see what the porch was going to look like attached to our home, along with giving us a chance to discuss details of the construction. We did add some changes, and he responded immediately with the new graphic, adding the feature which I desired, along with what that addition would do to the estimate. This was extremely professional. When he was ready to get the builder's permit, he came by to give us a hard copy of both the graphic and estimate. Again, we were impressed with his professionalism. He has been working on the addition from the date he told us he would arrive, on the days and times of each work session he promised to be here. He is very reliable. His work is outstanding. Our porch construction is very sturdy, and we are completely satisfied. He cleans up after himself, and is very responsible with making sure we are satisfied after each work session. We are extremely pleased, and are glad that our friend recommended him. We plan to use him again if we do any more remodeling, and will definitely recommend him to all of our friends.
