After signing the contract for the pool in August of 2013, the pool arrived at the end of October and sat there for a over a month. We were not upset about this , as we were not expecting it to be completed till the spring anyway. The pool was put in the ground in December and completed in April, which seemed to take a lot longer than it should have, but they only showed up sporadically to work. There were many things we were not happy about, but only this last incident with our heater has prompted us to make this review. These are the issues we were not happy with, but did not complain to them about. We have a gravel driveway which they dumped dirt on , then gravel and basically screwed up our driveway. They said they would fix it and of course they never did. We were told by neighbors that they dumped garbage on a wooded lot next to us, which we found and removed. They buried concrete in our yard which we had to remove. They built a retaining wall around the pool and never completed it. We actually, like fools went there and bought the rest of the blocks so we could finish it ourselves. They were suppose to put stone in the middle of the wall and never did that. We never complained to them about any of this, because the pool was in and working and we were happy about that and just wanted to be done with them. The one thing we complained about was the light . When they installed the lights in the pool they broke one. We went there several times from May to November, called several times and were always given some b******* story. We also had a problem with the heater the first time we used it in August. Ross sent a repair person at that time who fixed it and said it would happen again. Ross informed usthere was a problem with these heaters and we may have to replace it. A call was put in to them in November again. about the heater and the light No one ever came. Called several times, went there in January place was closed. Phones disconnected ,we find out their out of business. Ok,, now we are worried our heaters warranty is going to run out, we paid $4000.00 for it and it never worked. We went to our pool maint. company to see if they could help. Thankfully they are able to help us. Haywood informed them that Bridgers installed a used heater. They gave us a heater that was installed in another pool, that didn't work. Haywood said they were suppose to return that heater a couple of years ago. Our heater was a 2010 heater, not a new one. Bridgers was certainly well aware of this. They put us off as long as they could, likely knowing they were going out of business. This is what has got us so angry, we choose to send this review, they likely knew back in March 2014 they were giving us a used heater and charged us 4000. We now wonder what else they lied to us about. We do not live in our home full time and did not get to see all that went on.. We mistakenly felt Bridgers was a reputable company being there almost 20 years. We feel this is more than just sloppy or incomplete work, but it is almost criminal. We also want to inform other people who had pools installed by them to check their heaters, filter etc.
We met with Bridgers Landscape rep at our home, agreed on which pool, signed the contract, was told would take 3-4 weeks for the pool to arrive, then between a week to at most 3 weeks to finish the install, allowing for weather. We paid the initial $15000 payment to order the pool, the pool took a month and a half to arrive, no real issue with this. We were told they would start on the pool the next day or two after they dropped the pool off in our yard, this turned out to be a month and a half later. Then we were told they would finish the install in about a week in a half to allow for settling of the ground, leveling the pool, electrical, and forming the concrete. Also was promised they would move the irrigation heads, make sure working correctly, sew new grass, and adjust the fence gate to be within county code, they moved the irrigation heads, but they were all broken, they threw grass seed on the dirt, but no grass has grown, and told us we had to do the fence to code after initially telling us they would handle that. To top all of this off, it did not take a week and a half to finish, it took an additional month. They did, from what we can tell, do a decent job on the pool itself, but all other aspects from the job were very sub par, very little contact or updating us as to what is going on unless they needed another payment, 3 payments in all, first one to order the pool (15k) second one when pool is placed on your property (10k) and final payment when finish install (12K), they were johnny on the spot with communicating that to us. We would not recommend to use them if you a person that requires proper scheduling, promptness, and expect that what your told, you expect to receive.

NO contact despite two calls, leaving information including dimensions for the concrete work and the type of fencing desired. NO ONE even bothered to call for an appointment.. Glad we didn't get involved with this company if they treat potential customers this way. What do they do when they have the upfront money?
Description of Work: Two calls to the contractor, giving all pertinent details and what we wanted. The family next door had some work done by this company, and we like the look of their pool deck and fence. So, we had hoped to work with Bridgers.
