We had a great experience with Sandhill's. They had a great crew leader, named Don who was very professional and helped ensure that none of our valuables were broken.
Description of Work: They came to help pack and load up our entire house. In the course of 3 days, Sandhill's helped us pack, move and unpack our entire house.

We had goods that were lost and broken, $125,000 worth of goods. We lost alot of personal items that can't be replaced. We had to take them to court and ended up winning. They give the moving industry a bad name. Please stay away from them. I learned alot about federal transportation law, and its hard to recover from a loss like this.
Description of Work: The moved our entire household down to North Carolina.

Sandhills Moving & Storage moved these individuals from New Jersey to North Carolina close to 12 years ago. Subsequent to the move, they filed a claim for $125,000, over 10 times the cost of the move, and $110,000 more than any other claim filed against this agency in over 40 years. The claim was based on allegations of damage/loss which at the end of the day could not substantiate to an amount even close to that claimed. This matter never saw the inside of a courtroom, but was settled in routine arbitration. The insurance company offered, and the client's accepted, a settlement which was, in fact, a fraction of the amount claimed. As a point of reference: *This agency's rating with the BBB is A+, the highest rating available. *This agency was, in 2010, nominated by the Moore County Chamber of Commerce, and was a finalist, as the Moore County Small Business of the Year. *This agency is currently rated #1 nationally in our agency size, by Mayflower, in overall customer satisfaction.
