Merry Maids of Southern Pines

In the beginning (2years ago), their service was fair at best. 2 years later... very bad, if not terrible service and quality. I'll never use them again.

The owner visited our home and said they would clean the house for $170. We signed a contract, and they showed up on time the next day. After 2 1/2 hours and cleaning about 1/3 of the house they said they needed to go to the next job and would come back to complete the job later. Well later, the owner showed up to demand more money saying that they only work sand get paid by the hour. This was not the agreement. After all, what is the point of visiting a home before the services are rendered. We clearly had agreed on this price for cleaning the house, not for cleaning 1/3 of the house. She started interpreting the contract differently than when she first presented it to us. I refused to pay, and later received a call by a man trying to intimidate me to pay or else. The Sopranos, it seems, not Merry Maids! I am considering legal action. Do not hire the services of this company, or if you do make sure you write everything word by word on a piece of paper and get them to sign it. Don't go by the documents they give you. This is NOT an HONEST business.
