Very well. Finished on the same day. Twin's Trane system bid was substantially below other bids. Personable owner did the installation, a welcome change from some of the corporate operations.

We had already had a great experience with Paul and Cyndy a few years ago with our roof replacement that we went with them for the skylight as well. They were able to get someone out to measure and replace in plenty of time for closing. Did a great job with removal and cleanup of waste -window looks great too!

Paul came out and gave us an estimate providing all the information we needed and answering any questions I had. I was quite impressed with Paul and while my gut said to proceed, never having replaced siding on a house prior to this, due diligence had us getting two more estimates. Ultimately we really did not need to. Job start to finish went quite well, despite a first day mishap where our kitchen garden window was damaged while the crew was removing the old siding. Paul and company responded quickly and appropriately and took care of the window panel, replacing it within two weeks (had to be ordered). Being a contractor myself, I know these things can happen and it is more about the response than the what, and the response was spot on! The crew did a good job keeping the site in order while working and upon finishing each day. Communication with both Paul as well as the crew was great. Love the finished product. I would use again as well as refer without hesitance...and will. Thanks Paul!!!

First of all Paul and Cindy are fantastic people and a pleasure to work with. There is just something so honest about them that I knew I was making the right decision going with Otto Roofing. Communication with Paul was easy. The work they did was excellent, the color options great and the work was completed and cleaned up in one day. It is so difficult to get work done on one's home these days without delays, lack of communication etc. but with Otto roofing everything just went smoothly. All I had to do was make an appointment, pick out the roofing choice and pick a date. Within a week I had my new roof and it looks so good now I want to side my house to make it stand out even better!!! I was very pleased with the performance of the Otto team from the original estimate to the closeout. Paul Otto does an excellent job of presenting his capabilities, gets the estimate and the contract out when he promises, and follows up quickly on questions or issues. The work crew led by Pedro arrives early, works late, and produces superb work. On the first day of our 72 square, 9 skylight, 5 attic fan job the crew arrived between 6:30 and 7 AM - they were onthe roof shortly thereafter removing the shingles. By the end of the first day they had 75% of the roof shingled. The next day they started at the same time worked to finish the roof. The third day they came back to do the finishing touches and finish the cleanup. Their work was outstanding, their cooperation, and dedication toexcellence was evident in everything that was done. This is one of the hardest working, mostdedicated, and professional groups that I have been around. The price was fair and the delivery wasexactly as Paul promised. Their emphasis on quality assurance and follow up on a couple of minor things during the final walk through was outstanding - no complaining, no fussing, no denying -they just do it right and backup their work!

We were scheduled to have service call on our roof for Thursday at 3:30pm 6-25-15. I was told to expect Pedro and Miguel. It was very frustrating that they neither showed up at the appointed time, nor did anyone from Otto's Exteriors return my call.

Paul Otto was quick to respond to my call for requested estimate on replacing my roof. Turned out that my roof was still in pretty good shape. But the gutters on the house had seen better days. Paul had a subcontractor come out that same weekend and get them replaced. It was nice to feel that the job would be taken care of by Paul and team.

We have had an excellent experience with Otto! We called five companies last spring of 2014 when we planned to get several things done on our house. We took a step back and waited to save up money, especially for replacing two windows and the trim/decor on the exterior around the windows that were damaged from water over time. Otto was not only the best price for this project, they were the most professional, had great materials about their products, very responsive, and reliable. This spring of 2015, we called Otto back to get an updated quote and immediately booked with them. The windows were ordered right away and as soon as they came in, they came to install them. They hit some issues while working because the original decor around the windows was attached to the house incorrectly by the builder. The Otto crew realized this and went the extra step to replace hardiplank and attach the new trim/decor the correct way to prevent future water damage issues. The work took the team longer than expected with the builder issues they found, but they stayed on top of everything and didn't close the job out until everything was taken care of. We were thrilled with Otto and WILL be calling again for future projects--roof, siding, additional windows, etc.

Mr Otto put a new roof on my house last fall. There was a spot on the roof that appeared to be part of a shingle. Mr Otto stopped by one afternoon & his crew the next day. What ever it was was removed promptly. Being a senior I can no longer climb ladders & appreciated Mr Otto response.

Everything went smooth right on schedule. upon removal of deck the presence of carpenter ants became known. Ryan brought this fact to are attention and immediately sought a solution. The new deck far exceeded are expectations and we are greatly satisfied with the finished product. Next will be siding replacement which will be again with Otto' Exteriors. I called Paul Otto because I still had a leak. They stand behind their work; it'd been over a year since they had replaced the roof. They sent one crew that didn't quite fix the roof but they came out pretty quickly. I called Paul back. Ultimately, he sent a crew that really knew what they were doing. It took them a day to do the fix properly. Paul always returned my call and was very responsive.

When I first contacted Otto's Exteriors I felt that the cost was too high to caulk one pipe on the roof. After doing some research I found that Otto's was one of the less expensive professional services available. The employee, Pedro, arrived at 7:30 am when I expected him in the afternoon, however he went right to work after I explained what needed to be done. He not only caulked one of the pipes, he caulked all of the pipes exiting the roof. He also took the time to remove leaves from one of the gutters. I felt he went above and beyond in his effort to please his customer.

It went perfect, pauls crew showed up in the morning and were done by early afternoon. Everything was cleaned up and beautiful when the workers left. By that evening I was getting texts and phone calls from my neighbors telling how great it looked. I was thrilled with this company and my new roof. It's beautiful and made my house so much better. When I'm ready to to do the extrior of my house I'll be calling Cyndi to set the apt for me with Paul to get the estimate.

Ryan who did the job is excellent. He is extremely conscientious about his work and took extra steps to ensure everything was plumb. The old framing was not to his expectations so instead of "making it fit" he tore it out and reframed. Since he knew what our ultimate plans were with the deck, he asked and I agreed for him to put in the header board now. His forward thinking to the entire job will make things easier for me next year when I expand on this project., The project exceeded my expectations and was performed as agreed. I would highly recommend Otto's exteriors and I will be using them in the future for other jobs. They also took great steps to ensure the jobsite was cleaned well before leaving at the end of the day and when the job was complete. Tore out old rotted windows, took down the siding and replaced the warped/rotted OCB boards. Somehow he was able to find the exact match for the 20 year old siding. Put in new 3 panel sliding glass door and header board for deck.

Replaced roofing and added vents, plywood, flashing, etc. to a three level home and bay window. They cleaned up and left no mess in our yard. The men worked hard and quickly. They were always prompt and worked late. Our roof is beautiful. The owner is very professional and stays on top of the construction and follows up.

Mr. Otto gave an estimate for roof replacement and a screened porch but with weather changing, we decided not to start the Project at this time. Mr. Otto was very professional and gave a lot of information about the building process and left a package of information about his company's services.

This company by all means ripped me off. They first told me they would be here on a specific day. They gave me a price for repairing a roof leak, installing a skylight and painting. I took the day off of work and after 4 hour from the time they where supposed to start, I CALLED THEM they "there might be some frost on the roof (it was in the mid to high 40's and sunny), we though you would just figure it out that we where not coming today". I decided to give them a second chance but said they would have to coming in the mornings for like 4-5 hour which they said would be fine. The following monday they did not show up and I yet again in some very crazy move gave them another chance. They came about 45 mins late on the following tuesday and wednesday then asked for 50% check which I gave. They then said they would be back to sand and paint "perhaps on friday. Friday came and no show, I had to go to work so they said tomorrow (saturday). After 2 hours late the guy was here for 10 minutes saying he would send some of his crew to re-mud on monday cause the mudding had some lines that need to be filled. Monday his crew came and re-mud. At the end the guy asked for the second check and said he might not be able to come tomorrow (tuesday) he will more than likely come on wednesday. I for some very crazy reason gave the man the second check. Well tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday came with no work. I called and called and the phone wasn't answered unless I put my number private. Finally I called around 7:30 am on Saturday and I got a text back saying "I cant talk now Im at the theatre". I fanally text back pictures of the work and get a call back saying that I told the man I would paint it myself!!!! After all of this they offer me a check for $50 and I'm like fine whatever, I just want this over with. Sure enough it leaked and it leaked hard. I went to go look and all the roofing was wavy and there was beige roofing shingles around where the work was done (I have a black shingle roof). I called and called after about two weeks the same guy that lied about the paint shows up on a week that was very sunny gets out the water hose and sprays my roof for 15 minutes. He says "it doesn't look like our work it looks like where the old shingles meet the new ones I talk to the office and they will get back to you. I speak to the office and they tell me the same thing he said and that they "can offer me a free estimate on full roof replacement". I tell them that this is unacceptable and they say they will have the owner call me back and to this day no response. I ended up having to pay $1000 to another roofing company fix there work. NOT A COMPANY I WOULD RECOMMEND!!!!!!

From my first contact to the finished product, Paul at Ottos exteriors was in constant communication and extremely professional. His crews that were onsite were top notch and did outstanding work. I highly recommend the company for all of your roofing and siding needs. His price and service were unmatched. I look forward to using them again when the time comes to replace my wood siding.

We used Otto's to replace our roof about 5 years ago. Their work then was exemplary, as was this little job. We will use them again, and again.

The workmanship was superior, the workers were courteous and professional. They cleaned up so that I did not even know they had been there. I have never been so happy with a contractor in all the years I have owned a home. I recommend them highly.

Below is the list of issues we had with our window installation on February 25, 2014. - Exterior trim (capping) around windows. - We asked Paul Otto if all rotting wood around windows could be replaced before trim was installed. Although we were assured that this would happen (it was even written in our contract), it did not. - Trim was installed on top of drip edge. - Trim was face nailed. - The trim did not reach the house siding. - The side edge of the sill was not wrapped, leaving an open gap. Thankfully we have a wonderful painter who was able to help us out with most of these issues. Before the painter, we were actually considering having someone else replace all of it. Unfortunately we still have to see the nails on the face of the trim, but it is something we will have to live with. - Back exterior door and storm door replacement. - When the exterior door was installed it would not latch properly. You had to push it in as much as possible to get the door to latch and lock. Luckily we are pretty handy and were able to fix this ourselves. They removed all the interior trim to install the door and they did replace it, but left us with nail holes we had to fill ourselves. Same with the exterior trim. - We purchased our own storm door with handle and were told by Paul that it would be installed for free when the exterior door was installed. Unfortunately when they replaced the storm door they removed the wood under the door that covered the flashing and never replaced it. Also, the strike plate that came with the door handle was not installed. Not only was it not installed, but it either got thrown away or the installers took it back with them. We are unable to latch or lock the storm door. I am currently trying to locate a strike plate for the door (without having to purchase a new handle) so we can install it ourselves and we will eventually get around to replacing the wood over the flashing. - Large picture window damage. - The frame was damaged either by the manufacturer or when it was installed. Paul did come out and assess the damage and ordered a new frame. This took several weeks. - Second frame was damaged by the manufacturer, but installer did not notice until after they had arrived for the installation. It was taken back and a third frame ordered. Took several weeks. - Third frame was damaged in transit. Fourth frame ordered. Took several weeks. - Fourth frame finally arrived undamaged. Unfortunately Paul sent one person to repair the very large, very heavy picture window. This person openly admitted that he did not know what he was doing when it came to repairs as he usually does installs only. Shame on us for not calling Paul at that point and requesting someone else. I think our patience was just wearing thin and we were ready to be done. Because this person did not know how to properly repair the window he ended up using weather stripping to hold the window in. Because of this, he was unable to install the interior trim work. We called Paul to schedule someone to come out to install the interior trim. - Although that person did not know how to repair the window he did do an excellent job of replacing the capping around the picture window and two adjoining windows. The bad part, however, is that when removing the other capping, he managed to damage the glass of the picture window in four different spots and put a hole in the screen of an adjoining window. - Third crew came out to put in the interior trim and that?s when we realized the other guy used weather stripping. They then removed the glass, installed it correctly and then placed in the interior trim. Thankfully this crew confirmed the damage to the glass and we called Paul to have the glass and screen repaired. (I have to tell you that we were so painfully exhausted at this point.) - Took several weeks for the glass to be manufactured. The fourth crew to come out actually worked for the window company. Although they made quick work of the replacement, they realized too late that they did not order the interior trim with the glass and that they had forgotten to bring the proper tools to repair the screen. - Two more weeks pass by and finally the interior trim arrived and the crew came back to install the trim and fix the screen. That date? June 12, 2014. 15 weeks after the original installation. - Poor workmanship and customer service. - Because the first crew that did the original install had primary jobs (window installation a secondary job), we were asked to accommodate their schedule and not work with a time that was convenient to us. Luckily we both work at home and were able to work around that issue. - In Paul?s sales pitch, he is proud to boast that his wife comes in after the job is finished and makes sure everything is done to the Otto standard. This was not the case. She did come by, but never even asked if we were happy with the job nor did she walk around and inspect anything. She simply laid out the invoice and asked that we leave a good review. This was unfortunately prior to us realizing all the issues at hand and well before all the nonsense with the picture window. My husband made note that the installation crew did not clean any of the windows and that we, the customer, had to clean all the smudges and hand prints from all the windows. And we had to vacuum all the trash left around each window. She didn?t seem phased by this critique, took the check and left. Our biggest mistake was that we didn?t go around and check every detail of every item installed, create a punch list, and withhold payment until everything was to our satisfaction. - When Paul came to inspect the window frame of the picture window my husband stated that he was not happy with the capping. He pointed out that it was over the drip edge, face nailed, sills not wrapped, did not reach the siding and seamed down the middle. Paul then shrugged and assured my husband it was done correctly. In all honesty, we feel he did know it wasn?t installed correctly. Even though he did not admit it, he did agree to replace it anyway. - We feel that it was Paul?s responsibility to come by after the installation and make sure everything was done properly. If he cares about his company name and reputation, he should be the one to make sure the job is done with superior workmanship. - Four different crews came to install and repair. We wish Paul had used one crew who was much more qualified for the install and maybe we wouldn?t have had to deal with the other three. - Paul did offer us a $200 refund for all our troubles with the picture window. We even reminded him of that when the job was completed on June 12th. We have yet to see that money. If he does finally send it, I will update this review, but we don?t anticipate receiving it. $8,161 is a lot of money for us. We let Paul know in the beginning that it was a lot of money and we expected the job to be done perfectly. It is always a bit disheartening to spend a lot of money, depend of someone to abide by what they say, and in the end be utterly disappointed. One positive outcome is that we are happy with the actual window product. We have noticed less noise from outside and the temperatures seem be more consistent indoors. We found out that the window manufacturer now has their own install team. We wish we had gone that route instead. I truly wish that this were a positive review. The fact that Otto?s had so many positive reviews was one of the reasons that we actually called him out for an estimate in the first place. We will no longer rely on Agie?s List for contractors. And we can honestly state that we do not and will not recommend Otto?s Exteriors.

(We had used this company once before for gutter installation, and we had been pleased with the work they did then.) Paul Otto responded promptly and make an appointment convenient for me for an estimate. Showed available options, explained product and services, responded to my questions. Allowed me to make decision without pressure. Volunteered to do the job on a weekend so that my husband or I would not need to miss work; I was very impressed with this. Also, he was kind and considerate enough to mention that our animals and a senior family member might be disturbed by the noise; I would not even have thought of this. I was so glad that Paul mentioned this so I could make alternative plans for them to be out of the home during the work. He arrived on time as promised and actually finished a little earlier than projected. The crew cleaned up the mess completely. He left a container of shingles just in case we needed it sometime in the future. Cyndy Otto came the next day for the inspection on an agreed upon time, and we did not pay until we had an opportunity to see the completely finished product. The whole experience went very smoothly. We were completely satisfied. They did an excellent job!

Best price. Fast, efficient workers - finished in one day. No mess left behind. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to my neighbors.
