Ron made and appointment with me and came out that next day as promised and on time. I told him I wanted some painting done, but really I wanted more than that. He suggested we go room-by-room, so we did. We started at the back of the house in my master bath. He made notes as we went through each room. He said he would get back with me the next day with a total for each room and a grand total if I decide to do everything. He did get back with me as promised, but, it was that same day later in the evening. He asked if he could come over and go over everything the next day. I agreed. I was impressed with the breakdown of pricing and I agreed to have it all done. I payed a deposit of $4500 and Ron and Rob got started the following week. They moved me out of my master bedroom and into a spare room. They started in the master bath and worked all around me. When the wood came in Ron picked it up and laid the master bed room first. They moved me back into the master and continued to lay the wood. Ron and his son Rob and a helper named George worked everyday in my house from 4 September until 13 October. I gave them my key and a garage door opener. I kept the garage free so they could set-up there work space in the garage. He kept his trailer parked at my house until the job was completed on 13 October 2012. Now all the depressing dark stained wood is gone and white molding trims my interior. It looks fantastic. The hardwood floors are beautiful and I feel great when I come home from work. MONEY WELL SPENT!
Description of Work: Update 3 Nov 2014 Ron has not set a date with me as promised to fix the problems. My hardwood floors are still the worse concern I have. If I want them fixed I guess it means me having to hire someone else to come in and fix them. I paid him and I want him to fix the problems. ****Update***** Ron text me 10 Sep 2014 and asked me my schedule so he could arrange a time to come fix my concerns. I text him back with my schedule. *******UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW******* I have left my original review because that is the way I felt when the work was finished. However, I have had problems with the hardwood floors, crown molding and screens. The hardwood is tenting in 4 places. (The wood that I had orginally picked out at Lumber LIquidators did not come in on Ron's schedule. He was pressed for time and told me I needed to pick a different hardwood. I did, regretfully, but I wanted him to finish the job before leaving town to go to his other job. So, I settled with another hardwood. He only allowed it 3 days to lay in the house and acclimate to the temperature but assured me that all would be fine.) When I noticed it I immediately called Ron. He said he would come out and take a look. He didn't. I tried calling him back and could not reach him. I called his son and told him that I had to talk with him. He did get back with me. He finally came out Summer of 2013. He told me he could fix the problem. I explained to him that I had, Brad from Pestar come out September 12, 2013 and check the moisture levels in the crawl space. I have documentation that everything was fine under there. Ron asked me to wait until Winter and see if the buckling would go down. I told him I would. So, I did. It did not go down and again I found myself trying to get him back out to fix the problems. Constant asking for him to fix it and him telling me he would be out, but he never showed or called to say why. I am to the end with him. He promised September 5, 2014 that he would come out over the weekend. I text him and asked him if he forgot about me and he said no. Well, again he did not come out and fix the floors. So, I am writing this review. Also, there is a gap in the floor in various places, but the most noticeable one is in front of my couch. And, the screens that he made for me didn't fit--he also promised to fix them April 18, 2013. Did not fix them. Also, the crown molding in my master bedroom is coming away from the ceiling. I paid him on time and I paid all that I owed him. NO RUN AROUND THERE! NO PROFESSIONALISM after the sale. BUYER BEWARE! I will be happy to change this review if he will fix the problems..........
