Bob did a great job coordinating work with two other neighbors, to better manage access to my lot. Bob and his team overall did a good job, were well equipped to handle a variety of challenges and worked hard to get everything done within a day.

Very well. The work was completed in a reasonable amount of time. They were extremely professional and thorough and did a great job cleaning up after the job. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

They did one big Bradford Pear tree, two large Cedars, and three smaller Cedars. They were timely, clean, organized, and did a great job. I would reccomend them to anyone.

Bob was so nice and helpful to determine what trees to keep and go. He was on-time, entire team was professional. Price was very fair. I would definitly use again and recommend. He sent a thank you card after the service.

Bob came by to walk the yard and consult with me as to what was needed. He promised he'd be by within a week and he actually arrived two business days after giving me the estimate and consultation. While he had his crew there to do a lot of the work he remained on site to supervise and direct. I was delighted with the outcome and appreciate the work he does.

Outstanding results! Bob came out promptly after calling and walked the property with me personally pointing out the trees that I knew needed to come down as well as others that were dead and potentially posed a threat to my house if they fell. Once he finished, he called me back that evening with a great estimate. It had been raining for several weeks so he told me that he wanted to wait until it dried up as to not disturb my yard, which was nice! About two weeks later, he and his crew came out and with two days had cleared out all of the dead trees that had already fallen, but the number of other trees as well. He even trimmed up some very tall Pines that needed a cut. Overall, a great experience, no damage to the yard...you never would have known he was there! I would recommend Stumpy's to anyone that asks!

It would be hard to overstate how well they did. Bob gave the lowest estimate. This was based on doing work at our neighbors property on the same day. However when our requirements ultimately dictated that work be done on different days, he didn't raise the charges. Our contractor was close to being ready to begin a home addition and Bob rearranged his schedule to accomodate us, despite the challenges posed by a prolonged period of rainy weather. Bob and crew performed the work in a very professional manner without causing significant damage to our lawn, and delivered the chippings to another neighbor who wanted them for mulch. We had paid him to cut down a large dead tree on this neighbor's property because it was close to ours. His crew dropped it with pinpoint accuracy on the only spot that wouldn't have damaged other trees, then Bob cut it up for him at no additional charge. As they were finishing up, his crew helped me carry a storage shed to another location in the yard to accomodate the contractor, who began work the following day. Finally, after the job was done, we received a card from him thanking us for our business. How many service people do that? If you require tree service you need look no further than Stumpy's.

They did an outstanding job. Tricky job since it was really 2 trees attached at the base. No damage to the yard or house, and the tree was in the middle of 3 other trees that were not damaged.

He does a very good job. I know he is cheaper than anyone else we priced, and he does excellent work. They clean up after themselves, and fully grind down the stumps as well.

However, there was some miscommunication as to when he would arrive and my sprinklers were not marked when he did show up. Also, he did not ask my wife, who was home at the time, if there were any obstructions in the ground and she did not think to mention it. Consequently he ended up slicing through my sprinkler wiring and pipe. I felt that the damage was partially his fault and partially mine. In the end we came to an agreeable solution for both of us and he followed through on his commitment with no follow up from me. Because of this I would use him again and I would recommend him to friends.

We contacted Bob approximately 8 weeks ago. We had to jump through hoops with the Home Owners and the City of Davidson, but after all that was finished we were put on the company list. It took approximately 4 weeks for our name to come to the top of the work sheet. He arrived, got his crew moving and cracked a whip to keep them on schedule. He knew what he was doing, was extremely careful and meticulous in what he was doing for us. He even told us that more than likely he'd spend more time "to do it right" and remove more broken limbs and shape the trees. This guy was great. Yeah, it turned out the venture was more expensive than the original estimate (we made additions so it didn't surprise us), but this is the best our property has ever looked and I feel safer with all the trees cared for properly.

BOB CRANE, WHO OWNS THIS COMPANY AND DOES THE WORK HIMSELF, IS VERY PROMPT, FRIENDLY, COMPETENT AND EFFICIENT. HE CLEANS UP REALLY WELL TOO! HIS PRICES SEEM ALMOST TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, BUT HIS WORK IS HIGH QUALITY.
