Mike came the same day called. He gave me an estimate and completed work on the same day. He explained what he waas going to do before doing it and made sure I was satisfied before he left.

I am pretty handy with household repairs but this one baffled me. One circuit out. No problem with GFIs, circuit breaker tested fine. Mike was cordial on the phone. Arrived on time with assistant. Troubleshot and repaired problem efficiently with full explanation. AND didn't make me feel like an idiot for not figuring it out. Fair pricing, professional, friendly. Not sure what more I could ask.

I have used Mike on this rental property several times. He lets me setup appointments days in advance so that it will save me travel time and can take care of business in one trip. He always is on time and ready to take care of all the issues that are on my list. My tenant wanted to have some switches looked at and 2 fans balanced. Once Mike got there it was a little more than just switching out a switch. The bathroom only took a minute but then when it got to the living room that was a little more. They had to take the fan down and it had to be rewired from the top to the bottom. It had 3 different switch's connected to the one fan. With it wired like that it was humming loudly and out of balance and would have burned out the motor if not fixed. After it was rewired and the switch's corrected it no longer hummed or was out of balance. It was a little more to do than I told him but he was great and made sure it was all done with updated wiring.

We contacted Mike on a Monday afternoon and he and his assistant were able to start on Wednesday. They were able to get everything done in one day. One replaced the breaker and did the electrical repairs while the other gentleman installed all of the ceiling fans and chandelier. They were very neat, professional, and kept on task. Neither wasted any time. We are extremely happy with our decision to hire Mike's Electrical Services and will definately recommend them and hire them again if needed.

Mike was able to come within an hour of our initial conversation. He and his assistant went to work and quickly and efficiently completed all the work I requested. Mike is personable and a pleasure to work with; I will definitely use his services in the future and recommend him to any of my friends. Thanks to him I won't have to find my clothes in the dark and (fingers crossed) won't have my ceiling fan bursting into light in the middle of the night anymore!

We were very impressed with the quality of Mike's work. He was very punctual, delivered what was promised in the time specified and was a pleasure to work with. Mike was faced with figuring out the work (rough wiring in) performed by another electrician. We were not completely satisfied with the first electrician and decided to look for another to finish the work. My husband and I are so glad we did. Mike is a hard worker, reasonably priced and very professional. Mike performed what he said he would do and when he said he would get it done. It was a pleasure doing business with Mike. Our final electrical inspection went through without a problem. In the world of sub-contractors, Mike is a true find and we do not hesitate to recommend him.

We purchased a 14 year old home. We thought we had an electrical issue and wanted an electrical inspection/safety inspection on the entire house. Called Mike in the morning. He and Rich were able to come out that same afternoon. Most places needed a week. We wanted someone quickly due to our issue. We picked Mike due to his positive ratings on Angies List. He and Rich did efficient and professional work. Fixed our issue quickly. We plan to ask them to come back for additional work we have planned.

Mike and his business partner were prompt and very professional. We have an older home and they finished the jobs much to our satisfaction.

Mike and his assistant came prepared and provided excellent service, very professional, clean and made sure all was cleaned up when done. Very friendly and would use him and refer him highly.

Mr. Gabriel arrived promptly and completed the necessary work in excellent time. The work-area was thoroughly cleaned when finished and we were happy with the outcome of this project. We can't say enough good things about Mike Gabriel and his able assistant, Richie.

Mr. Mike is very professional, educational, funny, down to earth kind of guy, very knowledgeable, looks at the whole picture to prevent future problems, does not mind teaching you as he works. I recommend him highly without any reservations and that does not come easily from me. Came on a holiday, and came from two hours away and still he was pleasant and a joy to talk to. It went well. This was the 3rd time I used Mike and his staff. They were very prompt, courteous, and professional. His helpers were excellent at troubleshooting. His service exceeded my expectations!

My overall experience was excellent! Mike always answered his phone when I called. He was punctual, friendly and professional. Mike even came out to my house at 6:30pm on a Friday when I had only called him earlier that morning. In addition, Mike's price beat out 2 other electrical companies that I was working with. I don't know what else you could ask for in a company. I highly recommend Mike's Electrical Service and I will work with them in the future.

Mike was extremely punctual and responsive. He showed up on Friday @ 9:00 am as promised, installed the new service and took care of the entire process from permits to the power company communication. Mike followed up with me minutes after the county inspection completion. I only wish every experience with a contractor is half as good as this one. The price was very fair considering the quality and the service provided. I would certainly use Mike for all of my future electrical services needs. He gets A+++ in my book - Well done!!!

Mike was friendly and professional, even putting up with my crazy dog. On time and great service. Identified the issue quickly and fixed it. All with a smile. Great job.

I called Mike about 6 p.m. to get on his call list the following day, but he returned the call within a half hour and he and an assistant were working on the job by noon the next day. They were efficient and proved to be resourceful about solving some structural issues in this 50-year-old house that made the job a bit more difficult than might be the case in new construction. They completed the work in about 2 hours and provided me with a lot of needed info about future work we need to bring the wiring in this older house up to date.

Mike showed up on time. He and his partner were professional. They double checked their work. Everything was delivered as promised. Bottom line: We're happy!

He came out the same day that I called him, and he really worked with me. I would highly recommend him! He went above and beyond, and he completed the work that day. I think, he was very prompt and did a good job.

I found his name on Angie's List. SInce it was the week of the 4th of July he said he could come look at the job and give us an estimate. He called before he came and was even early for the appointment. He gave us an estimate of $1200 and he was quite close with the final cost being $1243 which represented a day and 1/2's work with a helper. Labor was $75/hour for him and $15/hour for his helper plus materials of $253. He was very friendly and very careful not to disturb any of our valuable things while he worked. He did exactly what we needed and we were very pleased with him. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing electrical work done and I would certainly hire him again.

I had been having issues with my AC compressor tripping. The AC company had come out two times and wasn't finding the cause. The technician replaced a part that looked to have failed, but even after that, it did it again. I began to wonder if it was an electrical issue so I called 3 different electricians to come out - Mike was one of them. He came out the same day I called. Mike was extremely pleasant and checked everything out. He concluded (just like the others) that it definitely wasn't an electrical problem, but rather an issue with the AC unit. The only negative thing I would say is that he charged me $92.50, while one of the other electricians charged me just $40 for doing basically the same thing and another charged nothing (though he just inspected, vs. physically doing anything). That's the only reason I said I wouldn't use him again, because I was more impressed with the electrician that charged my $40 and felt that was more reasonable fee.

Let me first say, good quality, reasonable priced electricians are hard to come by - and Mike definitely is good and reasonably priced. Second, I am a hard grader. The overall work was good (and I would use again), but the attention to detail/worksmanship was not excellent. For instance, several of our receptacle wall holes were cut slightly larger and almost peered out from beyond the outlet cover. Or every outlet in our house is cream/tan; they had installed a bright white receptacle and were going to do so for every single new one in our house, but my wife noticed the "look" was off. A quick trip to Lowe's and I picked up some more cream receptacles...but just one of those little details that maybe I should have specified more clearly - but again just one of those details things that can matter (especially when not caught in time).

Mike is a gentleman. He went above and beyond what we had discussed on the estimate. Mike and I have the same mind set in that if you're going to do it, do it right the first time. Mike uses quality products and his work is clean and neat. He's very easy to get along with and I would highly recommend him for any electrical work.

I contacted Mikes Electrical Service this past Saturday 1/19/13 about installing a receptical fo us. To my suprise he came this same day, on a Saturday and within 30 minutes. He looked over the job I needed done, gave me an estimate and advised he could do the work Monday morning. He showed up exactly as when he said he would on Monday and completed the work in a timely manner. He is very professional, punctual, does good work and the cost was reasonable. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

He returns calls promptly. Gives you an estimated time and if he will be earlier he calls and makes sure that is ok..
