Fitzgerald's Heating and Air

This is a good company run by a great family. I will use them again when I have an HVAC issue again in the greater Greensboro area.

Fitzgerald's Heating and Air has been servicing our 12-year old system for the past four years or so. Since we are in the process of getting our house up for sale, we asked them to scrutinize things a little more than usual to head off any surprises. Because of this, Friday's visit involved several more items than usual. We've had a couple of capacitors replaced in the past but we've never had an expensive failure. Rob is the owner and technician - he always explains the specific measurements and readings he is using as guidance and asks us before replacing a part. We appreciate that -- we're not HVAC experts but have enough fundamental electrical engineering knowledge to understand he's not replacing things that weren't requested or are unnecessary. That's even more important than price to us -- and his prices are always extremely reasonable. He spent about four hours on the job but the maintenance portion of the bill was still calculated at a flat rate. We already recommend him to anyone who asks.

Our upstairs air conditioner wasn't cooling well. We called Rob and he came out the next day and inspected the unit in the attic and outside. He gave us several options on what to do and we chose to top off the freon rather than search for a leak. The a/c is running great now. Rob is a really nice guy. Very upbeat, considerate and polite. We've used him in the past and he just won't give up until a problem is solved.
