We received a recommendation for Carolina Creations from our realtor when purchasing our home in Holden Beach, NC. Art Miller worked up a quote for the work and was very forthcoming with potential areas where additional (external) costs could come in. For example, stormwater plans and implementation, survey, septic tank removal, etc. Some of those things ended up happening and some of them did not -- I really appreciated him being up-front and explaining them in detail... made me feel more prepared for the unexpected. During the course of construction I was kept up-to-date on things, and felt like I knew what was going on even though we were many miles away. Worth mentioning is that the delivery of the pool was delayed, and there was a risk the project would not be done in time for our first renter. Art pulled out every stop, adjusted the plan, and allowed me to use one of the pools he ordered for another customer in order to get it done in time. We did have one unexpected expense come up (not terribly significant) that was forced on the project by the township that I had to cover. However Art felt terrible about that and I feel like he made the cost up along the way by eating a couple other expenses that popped up (ie. extra sand needed, gates, etc) instead of "nickel and diming" me. For that I felt grateful, and it strengthened the trust I have in Art and his company. The project ended up beautiful -- better than I imagined. I will also be having this company do the yard and pool maintenance for me. I really like the way they do business, and would most certainly recommend Art and his company to anyone looking to build a pool.

It went exactly how I wanted it! I described what I wanted, stamped concrete with custom colors in a slate design. I was shown examples on the laptop, I chose the colors, he hand painted the colors on (that surprised me to see him down on his knees) he is such a perfectionist, he took his time and obviously takes great pride in his work. So happy with the results, just what I wanted, Thank you Carolina Creations Landscapes Inc.

Being new to the area, and homeowners, we were interested in pricing an in ground pool. We contacted three companies to just be sure of ourselves and the products available in the area. To be honest, the three companies came in around the same price range, suggesting similar products. However, from the get go, Art Miller from Carolina Creations set their company and product apart from the rest. Where other companies weren't as detailed in their product or timeline oriented, Art met us at our home and quickly supplied an itemized list of all components and timeline of pool installation. Installing a pool is a sizable investment for us, and when having to spend as much money, it is really important to be confident in the company and the sales department from bottom to top. Art was able to elaborate on the details of pool installation, the components thereof and the expectations in a manner that made us very confident about our choice. Where other companies just gave over-the-phone quotes, or verbal quotes, the resources that were supplied to us through Carolina Creations made it a lot more understandable as first timers. We were also concerned about financing, which Carolina Creations provides references on their web site. Since we are military, I inquired about other financing through special banks to which we have access, however, the best deals were through the financiers that were suggested by Carolina Creations. As our install date approached, Art answered all emails and questions within hours... and believe me, I had a lot of emails & questions, and I came up with them all hours of the day. Just a week prior to installation, we had a kick off meeting, where we met our install coordinator, Eric Alderman. Eric is equally hard working and thorough in ensuring that we understood and were happy with the end product, even going as far to not a "wax spot" that that he took the liberty to contact the pool manufacturer & coordinate a correction before us even knowing. Starting on time, as promised months previously, the pool installation was completed in about half the time initially predicted. In less than 5 full business days, we got to see the transformation of our barren back yard into a family oasis; dug out, installed, paved & cleaned... and we were swimming that afternoon!! I know our job was "smaller," however we are still very impressed with the way that everyone, in every step of the process worked and kept the job site clean after each day working. We now have a beautiful pool, a place to make wonderful memories, and a retreat after a hard day at work or at the beach to enjoy our home inside & out!

Let's say this: An A doesn't begin to cover how wonderful it was to work with Art and his crew. He is a man of his word- took on our job in 1 phone conversation?. Stayed in touch throughout planning stages. Answered every question almost immediately. ileage and effort and he said NO- this is what we do when I changed my mind at the last second about putting in the 2 trees he had brought to our home as part of the large garden install, he said "OK let's go to some garden centers to see what else we can find" I told him to up charge me for the additional time, he said no -this is what we do. He and the crew did a perfect job and cleaned up everything they had pruned as well as every bit of dirt on the driveway. Art runs his company to perfection and treats his customers to a wonderful experience hard to find these days. Also - his prices are beyond fair. Absolutely perfect experience.

Entire installation went smooth. Art explained the process and what to expect before work began, he also was very helpful directing us to former customers so we could see the pool we were interested in and hear how their installation went. I'm glad we did, we actually ended up going with a larger pool. The installation went exactly as planned from initial placement to the final grading. They made sure we were happy, taking care of every detail we requested.

It went no where, we did not call them and they have never bothered to see if we are still interested in having them do the work. We also wanted paver patio but too late now, we are now looking for another company.

Initial call was handled by a secretary. Information was taken and a promise of a call back was made. No call back has been received 2 months later.

I will be taking my business elsewhere now and in the future.

The work actually started a week before our scheduled start day. Art Miller took exceptional care in keeping in touch with me during the entire process, answered all my questions and did a beautiful job from start to finish. The working crew were professional, courteous and cleaned up each day. I'm really happy with my finished backyard and can't wait to swim in my new pool.

Art and Eric were very professional and all work was completed as promised in a timely manner. We are very pleased with their work and look forward to using our pool this summer. Art took extra time to explain the process of installation and made sure I understood how to use all the pool equipment. His crew also did a nice job installing a large concrete deck around our pool. I would highly recommend Carolina Creations if you are in the market for a fiberglass pool in the Myrtle Beach and surrounding area.

First of all I would like to thank Art Miller, Eric Alderman and their crew for a job well done. They were all very professional and very informative. It didn't matter how small or how big any of the details and or changes there were they were very co-operative with any and all changes. Art and Eric made the installation go very smoothly, and all the work was done as sheduled. The hole for the pool was dug in one day and the pool was installed and filled the next day. The conccrete was pored after all the electric and bonding was done eight (8) days later. A week later they were able to do the cool deck. Everything went as planned. ?The pool arrived on January 12, 2015 and was put in the ground and filled the next day. ?The cement company came a few days later for around the pool. ?They then cleaned the pool, put chemicals in, and showed us how to maintain the pool. It came out beautifully. ?We are very happy and recommend Carolina Creations if you are planning to have a pool.

First we would like to say that Art Miller and his crew were just fantastic. We contacted Caroline Creations and left a message for setting up an appointment with them and had a phone call from Art Miller within 24 hours, set up time to sit down with Art to talk about all of our options for pool and yard. Would liked to have installed heater and tile around sides but after talking with Art were reassured that those two things could be added at a later date. That alone made us feel as if he was not trying to take us to the cleaners and sell us equipment we did not need at this time. Art also took care of all permits with the county, and instructed us on the HOA approval process. Told that it would take about two weeks for completion but were off by a couple of days and that was because Mother Nature did not want to co-operate with the concrete pour. Art came up with a plan to use our existing patio and for just adding a small patio to connect with it and pool area. Pool was delivered one day and was installed and full of water the very next day. We could not of asked for better service and a nicer group of people to perform all construction of the pool and yard. First part of job was to expand the side yard, second to install pool, third to pour concrete and fourth to install fence. With the job completed we could not be happier with the service, professionalism of crew and just the all around service we received.

This being our first pool we were a bit apprehensive and confused about what our $$$"s would get us. We quickly realized it is too easy to be oversold on a pool and it's accessories. We had spoken to a couple of pool companies and they were all quite willing to take a down payment and schedule us for installation even without visiting our home. We consider ourselves blessed and fortunate to have been directed to Art Miller at Carolina Creations. Art was the only representative to visit our property and map out what we had in mind.....he listened to our thoughts and when necessary added a "best practice" approach to completing what we had envisioned. When we mentioned we were thinking of getting a pool cover and possibly a heater, Art pulled us back and thought we should wait a year. He expressed that both of these items could easily be installed after we had reconsidered the need....this thoughtful approach to not oversell saved us a few extra dollars (thousands). If within a couple of years we find these items necessary most certainly the team at Carolina Creations will be doing the install. The whole process of our project...pool, fence, irrigation and sod was seamless and efficient. Art and his entire TEAM need to be commended for their professionalism, knowledge and HARD work. What was promised has been delivered! We have zero doubt that if and when questions and concerns arise Art and the Carolina Creations crew will provide us relief and an answer. Is there any downside to our pool experience? If there is it's that it's November 2014 and it's getting cold, not exactly the time one wants to take a dip....maybe a pool heater is in our future. We absolutely love our new pool. Art Miller with Carolina Creations made this experience so easy from start to finish. He and his staff were so pleasant to work with. They were knowledgable, friendly, and responsive. They gave us a lot of information about different pool choices and helped us make the best decision for our family without making us feel pressured. Art even drove us to one of his recently completed projects so we could see first hand the quality of their work. The entire pool installation process only took a few weeks and everything went as planned and on schedule with no delays. Taking no calls, was too backed up.

We undertook a massive backyard renovation that included a long retaining wall, building the yard up from a steep slope, rebuilding and expanding our deck, and installing a pool and spa. We were already in conversations with a few contractors for the other pieces of the puzzle when we contacted Carolina Creations for the pool and spa. Art Miller, President, got right back to me and scheduled an appointment the following day. He walked us through all the details and considerations of a pool installation and provided us design guidance. What really made them stand out was Art's guidance through the HOA approval and county permitting process - his advice and expertise was invaluable in getting our project approved and rolling! And I will say that even though his crew could not be available quickly enough (i.e. immediately!) for our timeline on the deck, he offered some really helpful suggestions and ideas for that as well! The actual installation of the pool, spa, and paver deck went exactly according to schedule. People were amazed at how quickly we were swimming! Art and his staff showed us how to use all of the equipment and troubleshot a few issues. We weren't completely satisfied with the concrete coping around the pool and Art quickly had his subcontractor come back out and re-do it to our satisfaction. Our spa was delivered without an upgrade that we had specifically paid for, and they contacted the distributor to come out and rectify. The pricing we received from Carolina Creations was very much in line with the other pool contractors that we received estimates from and the service was outstanding. Their staff was friendly and worked efficiently. At times, it was kind of hectic with numerous contractors on-site at the same time working on different projects but they were all courteous to each other and got the job done. We are thrilled with our new backyard of which our pool and spa are the focal point!

We were building our new home here in North Carolina while still living in New York. Since I had no knowledge of contractors in the area I used Google to look for pool companies in the area. Most had websites so you could contact them by email and or phone. The follow up was mixed. Some promised a call back and never did, or they would just give you general information and were not much help. Some had a form on there website you filled out and would mail or contact you. The one exception to this was Carolina Creations. The owner Art Miller reached out to me and gave me a complete overview of what would be involved with putting in a built in pool. He also gave me a series of questions to ask other pool companies of the services and product they supply. Since I had never put in a pool, this was very helpful. Art than followed up with me the following week to see how my search was going and if I had any more questions. With his help, I was getting confident in doing my research and the more I checked the more I found that Carolina Creations was the company I should be dealing with. Arts attention to detail and no pressure approach convinced me to go with Carolina Creations even though I was 650 miles away. My wife and I planned a trip down to check on the building of our home and we wanted Art to show us some completed pools he had done. One of his sales associates took us to many homes to see different designs and colors. Many of the homes we visited the owners were home and spoke with us. They had nothing but praise for the work and quality of Carolina Creations. As for the work. every phase of the job moved as promised ( other than weather delays). The crews that dug the hole, pool installers, concrete crew for my patio and coping, tile crew, retaining wall contractors and fencing installers were all on time, did quality work, and clean up. I have already had two neighbors see my pool and were so impressed that they wanted Carolina Creations contact information for projects they are planning. In forty years of dealing with contractors for my homes, I would have to put Carolina Creations near the top of my list.

We asked each to pay a visit to review our thoughts on a pool, and got suggestions and eventually quotes from three of the four. We committed to Art and his company - he did the job and within the timeframe stated. There were no hidden costs, no surprises, no gray areas - straight forward all the way. His people were excellent, did quality work, stayed on the job until it was complete, and with a smile and openness to answer any questions. The training to operate the pool was superb - both by his people and himself. We feel very comfortable running and managing our pool. Company was extremely professional and did Exactly what they said they would. They followed their schedule to a tee. Pool was installed in 3 days and even though the surround was not installed we were swimming in three days. Tile was promptly installed on time. Concrete people were also very professional and did an excellent job. They really took a lot of care installing the pool. It is a beautiful pool and fits attractively in my yard. Everything went excellent, from the initial sales contact through the completion of the job. The final result was excellent, they didn't have the particular type of pool that we wanted, but they had a new mold made and we got the first one of these pools installed in the area. It makes for a great attraction at the rental area we own.

Very professional, the crew was all dressed in company shirts and I could ask anyone on the crew a question. Management had to work with a difficult permit process and kept me informed on the schedule and progress. Pictures were sent to me showing the progress. Project done on time and several items had to be negotiated, which was a pleasant experience. Company president, Art, was very involved for the entire project, which made me more confident. The pool and landscaping looks great. Would highly recommend Carolina Creations.

Carolina Creations did a great job with the installation of our backyard pool and the mechanicals as well as the concrete deck surrounding the pool. They also installed two palmettos and a fence to close the pool area off from the rest of the backyard. They were able to accomodate a pool in the small space we had allocated and did a great job with the installation. They have followed up after the installation to ensure that everything is going well and recommended a company to perform weekly pool maintenance. Art Miller was our main contact and he is always available when there are questions or concerns. Any small issues were handled immediately. This is a fine company and I would heartily recommend them for any job that they bid on. They truly fit the definition of a "full service vendor".

This was our first pool and Scott at Carolina Creations made all the design and installation decisions as we were out of town. Everything turned out perfect and we are very pleased with the result. Throughout the process there were excellent communications which made the experience easy.
