We are very pleased with how quick and easy it was to have our dream backyard installed. Carolina Creations worked very hard to have the pool and patio complete before we moved in to our new home. We could not be more pleased with the quality and workmanship of the staff at Carolina Creations.

We have a rather small property in North Carolina on Holden Beach and we had dreamed of having a pool installed for many years now. We finally decided to take the plunge and have this home project completed in 2013. It was very important to us though to make sure we could find someone that did the highest quality work and that is definitely Carolina Creations. We could tell from our first review of their web site and the pictures of very creative, beautiful craftsmanship that this would be the best choice. We first had them come over in April of that year to see if we could do the project and get an idea of cost. We had 2 locations in mind knowing that we had space and set back limitations. Well, after much review with the town, it was determined that these 2 locations would not work. We thought we were doomed to failure. However, Art came through. We looked another location on our property and was not quite sure how it would look but we trusted Art and his crew. We had to negotiate back and forth quite a bit with the town but in the end they gave us a permit. This process took us longer than expected but Art got the pull designed and installed for us to use for Labor Day and it was great. The pool is absolutely amazing and the location is great. We also have the pool surrounded by a fence that provides the final touches on a classic look. We are now working with him on designing our dream outdoor kitchen and bar. The McCormacks

We couldn't be more pleased with Carolina Creations. They were quick to respond to our inquiries about the possibilities of installing a new swimming pool in our difficult to access rear yard. They were very accommodating in negotiating what we consider to be a fair price. Carolina Creations worked with us in allowing us to secure the building permit and use our own electrical contractor whom we are very comfortable with and help us keep our overall cost to a minimum. They kept to the proposed installation schedule. They did a great job of keeping our landscaping and yard disturbance to a small degree. They were very polite and professional in their workmanship and their daily contact with us about the project. We would recommend Carolina Creations to anyone considering installing a swimming pool.

It went wonderful...we called up Carolina Creations and they immediately scheduled Art Miller, who is an awesome and reliable person to come out and tell us all the details about the pool, the variety of products, how it all would go with time and the entire process. He was onsite during the process and the team was great with making sure it was done properly. We got concrete, and also got a heater for the pool installed...I would recommend this company and their expertise in pool installation to anyone. It is so worth getting everything done by one company and they have the capability of doing it all and quickly and no complaints by us...Awesome job..We love our pool done by Carolina Creations and their team... Called various companies for quotes on a new in-ground pool. Several companies provided quotes over the phone or at their storefront. However, Art from Carolina Creations met me at the house the next day after I contacted him. He tested the soil, took measurements, and provided a detailed quote the same evening. In addition to being specific to the site, he also gave the best pricing of all the companies. Installation was smooth, painless and on schedule. Art handled all permits and inspections. He personally managed the entire process from start to finish. He made sure to explain every detail along the way. Much advice and care was given to details from selecting the pool, the tile, the concrete color/finish/design, etc. VERY HAPPY with the finished product and the service both during and after the sale. Would highly recommend using Art and Carolina Creations for any pool project.

Carolina Creations is hands down the best landscape company in the area. They maintain my huge yard weekly in summer and bi-monthly in winter. Their services are detailed down to exactly what each homeowner needs. They provide everything from bare bones lawn maintenance to lawn treatment/tree and shrub trimming to designing landscapes and paved areas. Their personnel are extremely professional right down to the last detail. My bills are prompt and clear. My requests are answered right away. My lawn has never looked better.

When we were building our new house in Oak Island, we always knew that a pool was a must have. We are first time pool owners, which required that I do a lot of research to ensure we were educated consumers. Starting the process I uncovered a handful of pool installers in our area. My first test of any contractor is the response time; well this put Carolina Creations at the top of the list. Art called me back within 2 hours and showed up at my house that evening and spent 2 hours explaining the process and really educating me on pools in general. This was not a pressured sales call, he just spent time making sure we were comfortable with the process and had all our questions answered before we made a decision. I got a sense of pride they took in their work just sitting at my kitchen table looking at the pictures of completed jobs! We did have to wait about 6 weeks for the install, which in my mind isn't such a bad thing - it showed they were busy! I would have been more concerned if they said they could have started tomorrow! The installation process was a breeze; they met every timeline and truly exceeded our expectations. Every worker that came to our house was on time, polite, responsible and took pride in the job they were doing. But it doesn't stop there! The "master plan" was not yet complete...I knew we needed hardscape around the pool and landscape to finish off the project. Once again we were not "oversold" on things we didn't need. We worked together to make sure our vision stayed within our price range. When Art and I first started our conversations he remarked upon one of the hallmarks of their company is customer service. I chuckled in my head because you hear this all the time but who really backs it up? I will attest that if we ever had a question, called anyone at the company, we got a prompt call back and in many cases a personal visit to make sure that our questions were answered and that we were 100% satisfied - they back it up! I cannot tell you how much pride I have looking out in my backyard to see my dreams come to life on an everyday basis, so if you think this is just some gratuitous customer recommendation, you couldn't be more wrong. I would recommend Carolina Creations to anyone, anyday, anytime. I invite anyone that is contemplating installing a pool or using Carolina Creations for landscaping to look at my backyard!

We had contacted many different companies to get quotes to complete our pool. Carolina Creations was by far the best decision we could have made. Carolina Creations installed our pool, ran the electrical, plumbing and so much more. They went above and beyond with every aspect of the job completed. The price was?extremely?reasonable for the quality of work they preformed. Carolina Creations was? professional in every aspect. My husband and myself could not have been more pleased with the results. You will not regret hiring Carolina Creations to complete you landscaping dreams.

We were very pleased with the quality of the work, follow-through and follow-up. The same team turned up every day for almost 3 months and they were always courteous, polite and kept the worksite very clean. Art was always at the other end of the phone to answer concerns and questions and Pleas was often on site to explain processes and procedures. We are thrilled with the finished job and would absolutely recommend Carolina Creations.

They did a nice job overall but still need to do some more trimming , weeding and put in pine straw. So much rain has slowed down lawn services here. The neglected one line of shrubs but came back on the weekend to correct that. They are polite and I will stay with them.

Art Miller came to my home and reviewed every aspect of the project with me. Art was extremely patient and answered all of my questions as we reviewed different aspects of an in-ground pool project. We discussed what I wanted in great detail, forming a wish list. We then were able to work backwards from there to ferret out the "wants" from the "needs" and the "would likes" from the "must haves". Art was extremely knowledgeable about every phase of the project, and he was also quite direct about which areas one could save and which areas one should not skimp. I felt that every decision was ultimately mine to make, but I felt that I was making that decision as a far more educated consumer than I was before he walked through my doo,.and I had already spent many months researching this project before calling Art in for the quote. We signed the contract and I gave a deposit. I did not have a complete survey done on my property when I purchased it, which I understand is the norm in North Carolina. An accurate "as-built survey" is required to obtain the necessary permits to begin this project. My project was delayed as I needed to hire a surveyor, then Art had to get the file to indicate the location of the pool and submit for permit approval. The time for permit approval varies and is out of the control of all parties. I also had the good fortune of trying to install an inground pool during the wettest June on record for North Carolina! But once the permit was in place, and the rain clouds disappeared... In less than eight business days, as promised by Art, I had a beautiful new pool that was ready for swimming. All of the staff members of Carolina Creations, as well as the sub-contractors used (electric, fence, concrete), were polite, friendly, and some were even real fun as we joked about different hiccups at the job site. The six straight days of rain, the dump truck to haul away the dirt getting stuck in the mud while it was empty, the giant mud pool, and things of that nature were ripe for joking around. I am not saying that this project did not have any issues or problems like most projects do. What I am saying is that when issues did come up, the staff from Carolina Creations was always professional, courteous, and responsive to my questions and my needs, whether it was in person or a call to the office. A truly fantastic group of people has been gathered at Carolina Creations that both know their job well and take great pride in a job well done. Without reservation, I highly recommend the services of Carolina Creations Landscape Inc. to anyone planning to install an in-ground pool, pool and spa or any of the many other services they provide.

They're really good. I like that they are in contact with us on a fairly regular basis. They come when they say they're gonna come.

The meeting was scheduled in advance, and they showed up promptly. They were dressed neatly and professionally, and were very courteous. I would absolutely use this company.

We contacted Carolina Creations last August and had an estimate for a pool, decking and fence. We chickened out after several visits from the contractor, Art Miller, because we had a new baby and a 4 year old child, and we were afraid of the possibility of a drowning.? This spring the urge for a pool got the best of us and we contacted Art again. He was gracious enough to give us another estimate and schedule us for installation right away! We were right on schedule and he even bumped us up a couple of days because of our first hurricane this summer. His crew was very professional and punctual every day. As a matter of fact, the hole was dug on Monday and we were swimming on Wednesday night. It was fascinating to watch the process move so quickly. The decking and fence were installed the next week. Art came by to check on the progress regularly. All of our questions were answered honestly and he even gave his expert advice on landscape ideas.? We will definitely call for more yard creations in the future. We are thinking an outdoor fire pit will be next.

I called them - but they never called me back

If you would like a pool installed this is the company to go with. From day one we were super please with the professionalism of Art and all of the other installers in this process. I called Carolina Creations on a Wednesday, Art was out to access our site on Thursday. When he came out he spent almost two hours mapping out the layout and listening to what we wanted and what our budget would be. After we gave him the okay and our deposit, Art handled all the permits and had everything lined up for one month after the assessment. We started the project on time, but Art made sure we understood that the timeline was based on the weather. He was very helpful through the whole process keeping us updated and answering any questions that we had!! Once the project started it took only two weeks to complete, and they would have been finished earlier if we did not have to wait through tropical storm Andrea. Art and his crew made sure we had a fantastic product at the end of the construction period. After the installation was complete they helped us set up the pool with salt and also cleaned the pool several time so we could jump right in when they were finished with concrete deck. We love our pool and would not use any other company but Carolina Creations. They are a company that you can trust and depend on to do the job right the first time.

The result...a beautiful back yard that Art helped me put together. I couldn't be more thrilled. I always talked to Art, the owner. So I never had to deal with others who didn't know what was going on. Art gave me a start day and hopeful finish day. The project started on time and was completed exactly when he said. All along he kept me updated with pictures since I couldn't be there to see things progress personally. We were able to enjoy the pool all summer last year and it was a real treat to renters who didn't know the pool was being installed. We advertised the pool after it was installed and got three more weeks of rentals. The rental agent came over to see the pool and remarked how beautiful things had turned out. This year our house is totally rented all of June, July and August! We won't get to enjoy it until September! I have encouraged Art to bring potential customers over to see our pool and landscape job.
