I wanted my refrigerator REPAIRED not somebody to talk ME through the repair process.

Well. Had to have tools and towels ready, but we found the problem! I can fix it from here...

While unable to repair the fridge, John S. expertly led me through diagnosing the problem (and explaining why repairing the fridge wasn’t feasible). He also gave great advice on purchasing a new one. I would absolutely use this service again.

They never returned my initial call.

Extremely well. Thomas was extremely professional and helpful. With his help, we figured out what part needed to be replace. Replacement should not be difficult and he gave me tips on that too. Great experience.

Analyzed issue then decided on what could be the problem, then gave me easy instructions and followed up the next day for following up. Then, even offered to call back in a week if there was any further trouble free of charge. Very nice, informative and helpful. I've already recommended to friends! 25 bucks instead of a hundred+ for a repair - I'll take it. The repairman, John Shelton, was great. We encountered several difficulties in getting the door fixed. Turned out I didn't need a part, just needed to change a setting on the hinge. Who would've thought hinges had settings! My safety and protecting the rest of the oven were paramount concerns of John's while we tried different ways to get the hinge to the "unlocked" setting, and we finally got it done.

The technician diagnosed the problem over the phone. I ordered the part. It came the next day. The website I ordered the part from had a video for replacing the part. It was easy & the total cost was $90. I was going to have to pay $90 just for a service call plus the guy wasn’t going to come for 3 days. I will absolutely use this service again & recommend this service 100%.

I was hesitant: I don't necessarily want to schlep around and fix it myself. Honestly, I misread what the service provided so was pretty nervous going in. But, I decided to roll with it. The technical aspect of setting up the appointment was straightforward and at the appropriate time Thomas the technician jumped into the chat and away we went. I admit, I was impressed. Thomas got right to the heart of the matter. Not only did he quickly narrow down the issues but he took the time to explain things and educate me on the various aspects of what we were doing and what particular components were responsible for and why he suspected I was having the issue to begin with. He helped me identify the likely faulty components, found the part numbers for me to order, and provided feedback on the pricing that I was able to find online. Happily, once the parts came in I was able to install them and now have a working fridge again. So, correct diagnosis, correct part recommendation, and I learned something too.

I was charged $24.95 for the same part number I found on line for free as well as a link to the Sears part department which I already had. Now I'm supposed to order the part and pay for an instructional session to assist with installation. Not what I thought the service would be but at least I know now.

It went great, this is a unique service, for DIY-ers. My electric dryer wouldn’t heat, so I went on line and diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. I also watched several how to videos, but none of them matched my dryer. Finally went on Angie’s list and it matched me up with Tin Lizzee which is a chat service to help you through your repair. The technician I talked with was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I did get stuck during the repair and they called me on my cell and talked me through what I needed to do. I know I saved a lot of money by not having an appliance repair person come to my house with the mark up on parts and labor rates per hour I believe I saved at least half of the cost, if not more from ordering on line and chatting and talking to the Tin Lizzee technician, it was $30 well spent.

This is a great service. Technician walked me through diagnosis of problem with refrigerator, provided replacement part number, gave a link to parts supplier and insight as to replacing part myself. Everything done via chat but you can send pics. Worked great for me. Would highly recommend you give them a try.
