I live in Buda, IL Angie's list gave me service provider In North Carolina each time I tried. Of course I didn't use them. Angie's List mistake, not service providers.

The company texted me with a picture of the repairman, gave me a window of 2 hours, he arrived put on disposable boots and a mask and said the repair would be $650. Gave us his opinion on what brand to buy. Overall, an excellent service

There is no question we would hire for any repairs in a heart beat Guy’s appliance here in La Pine Oregon. Very honest professional punctual, explained what needed and put in order for needed part. Soon as he got part called right away and that, being the 21st of Dec. He came the 22nd of dec. installed and we are very happy.

I was skeptical of a virtual repair service, but it was awesome!

Handy was by far the most fraudulent company I’ve dealt with in a long time. The first scheduled appoint was never met. The second, rescheduled, appointment was never met. After multiple assurances that the credit card would not be charged until the work was performed, they immediately charged the account. The account was not credited until several later, after the credt card investigation services were engaged to investigate the fraud, This was one of the most corrupt, dysfunctional operations imaginable! I will strive to caution any and all acquaintances to steer clear of Angie’s List and Handy in particular! The Customer Service number was never answered and the account web site never workrd.

Great! The virtual session was easy, he diagnosed the problem, sent me a link to purchase the part and told me how to replace it when the part arrived.

Virtual repair - what a great concept. It worked! $35 vs $373, no brainer.

No work was done. The suggested company that I got was not even close to me geographically -- more than 1,000 miles away. Your service, in this case, was not useful at all.

Looked at it, then said he couldn’t fix it but had one he could sell me!

I did not use them - did not want to pay them $35 to tell me how to do it. I knew how to do it. I wanted to pay someone else to do it for me. Unforseen difficulties, as it turned out, would have prevented virtual success.

Virtual walkthrough to troubleshoot inoperable dishwasher. Via videochat the technician was able to diagnose and resolve the issue. For a very reasonable price, the dishwasher is fixed!

It didn't , they wanted me to pay them money to tell me how to fix it myself, I know how to fix it , I am just not able to due to health and age.when I look for a repairman, I want them to come and fix it, not charge me to tell me haw to fix it myself what a waste of time.a joke.

I had to hire a local, appliance repair business who came to my house and reset the panel. He did not have to replace the latch .

Remote appliance repair is a great idea, and is something I have wanted for a long time! This diagnosis went great. The issue was understood and the solution explained clearly after they walked me through removing of the pump. Doing it over video chat worked really well.

Chris identified problem and walked us through fixing it. He also gave us directions on how to prevent from happening again.

Fortunately it was an easy fix that only took a few minutes, so it is not possible to make a good assessment of their expertise. However, they were right on time and very professional in their demeanor and I was very impressed by that.

Did not use this vendor. They are an on-line service that guide you through a repair. I needed an in-house serviceman. Called a local service (Statesboro Appliance Center). Called about 1:30pm. At 4:00 service man arrived at front door. Quickly he confirmed my thought that the problem was with the door switch, accessed and replaced the switch - the entire process took 30 minutes. Cost was $166 ($75 of which was for the service call.) 5 stars!

This is a virtual repair service. They promised to diagnose the problem and help me get any necessary parts. They will also walk you through the installation of the new part(s). I had my doubts, but it worked like a dream! My technician was very knowledgeable and patient. It was worth the small price of the appointment just so he could tell me that a connection he asked me to disconnect "would take some tugging, but it will come off". I was afraid I was going to break it, but did not! Problem diagnosed, the replacement part is on the way! I would definitely use this service again!

Excellent, he was able to quickly diagnose the issue and provide several solutions.

Hedid a test and determined it was the igniter ! Replaced it with a new one! Working great now ! Was a few days before thanksgiving was very happy he could come and fix it fast!

He figured out the problem - a bad thermostat - literally in 60 seconds. I learned that my fridge is actually able to run if I keep cycling the temp control until I get the new part shipped. Plus he was able to walk me through removing the cover & part so I had a head start on replacing the part when the new part arrives. I really liked Chris and would definitely do this again!
