They were terrible, it went very bad. The home builder, neither he or the company did a violation during the whole process. I would not recommend them to anyone. I would stay away from them.

Project was completed very quickly and steps were taken to protect the floors. Everything has been functioning great and the new exhaust fan has been great in our older home. We did have a couple of small details and we had no problems getting them back to address our concerns and correct them. We are very satisfied with our bathroom. Update: our hot water heater went out on a Thursday night and we called them Saturday morning two guys were here to replace the unit located under our house. We couldn't believe how fast they were able to help. They are our go-to company for home repairs and changes that we do not want to tackle ourselves. We highly recommend them and have already made plans for more work to be completed soon.

Easy, Quickly and extremely professional. His tile crews were very polite worked two days straight none stop. Beautiful new tiled shower and floors

Terrible. A three week job is going on 6 months. Has our full payment and we still dont have the job finished. Too many issues to name but the big things that cause problems are : he never comes to the job communication is terrible his subs do poor quality work. The only thing that was done right was the granite which was contracted out to another company from Raleigh. he makes a lot of excuses instead of taking responsibility for his mistakes and making them right he pulled permits but we found out today he never got a final on electrical or structural permits so we have no idea if we are in a safe environment now. Every time he messed something up, he would try to say that he did some extra stuff to make up for it. We just wanted what we paid for and we said that over and over. I did not want poor quality extras for messing up the things that I paid for...it just left me with more messed up stuff. We caught him in several lies so he just quit coming to the job. No one is standing behind the work so we are out $30k and will have to pay another contractor $8k to fix and finish the job properly. He is still out bidding jobs. Beware. We found complaints with the BBB as well. Find another contractor and spare yourself the 6 mos of stress we have had....

CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!! Hired Chuck Smith Construction to perform two large construction projects on our property and netiher were completed by contractror and that was over two years ago. Chuck Smith Construction took our money and never finished projects and abandoned projects/permits. While Chuck Smith Construction promises the moon and stars they fail to deliver on all counts. STEER CLEAR and find yourself a REPUTABLE builder!!!
