+ -1 moreThis company painted my neighbor's house and the neighbors only had positive things to say. My house had new cement fiber siding installed and I needed the entire exterior painted and the small back deck stained again. The owner visited to review the job on 8/29/14. During his review of my job, the owner was very professional and explained his suggestions for the project. He also explained that the company had a fair amount of existing commitments and probably would not be able to begin my job until about November. He provided a written estimate on 9/1. The price was very reasonable and the only reason that I choose not to use this company was because my wife and I wanted to get the new siding painted sooner.
Description of Work: Visited my home, discussed the work to be performed, and provided an estimate for the job of painting the house and staining the deck.

+ -1 moreday, and that he hated fishing and that he would never do that (even though he had previously told me how much he enjoyed lake fishing, and that he had a nice boat, etc.). I was out on my deck with his crew that entire day and can guarantee that Matthew was never here at all, yet he persistently tried to convince me that he was . Now, we're 9 months down the road since his October inspection and agreement to fix the problem, his ugly gouged out holes prompting questions from family, friends, other visitors, etc., and Matthew still will not return phone calls or repair the damages that he personally had done. He is not to be trusted !!!!!! I certainly would never hire him again, nor would I ever recommend him to anyone. He will just take your money and run !
Description of Work: Came out, looked at my deck railing which was just finished a while before, and which was blistering He checked the blistered areas and then proceeded to gouge out many holes on the railing. The paint company rep collected samples and sent them to their lab for analyses, and later told me that Landmark's employees didm't mix the filler material properly. Matthew said his crew would come back, re-fill the holes, and then sand down and re-treat the railings sometime in early December. December came and went, then Jan. , Feb. , etc. and I repeatedly called to find out when they were coming. Finally, after many calls (where he wouldn't answer the phone, but I was able to leave messages) he finally called back and said his crew would be here soon. Now it's like 9 months later and still no-show. I find Matthew to be a big talker but not one to trust to follow up on things. In addition, when his crew was here working, he provided no over-seeing and when I asked his foreman when Matthew would stop by, I was told that he had taken the day off and was fishing. When I later questioned Matthew about his failure to over-see his crew's work, he told me that he had been here twice that

+ -1 moreIt was excellent. They are finishing right about now, maybe by tomorrow and they have done an excellent job. They are very prompt, very thorough with the contracting and were professional in their approach. They designated details in the contract and followed through on them. The work crew was steady, did everything very neatly, and did everything, as we wanted them to do.
Description of Work: We used Landmark Painting for exterior painting of the house.
