As a family group business, our company has grown steadily with the support of the Home Builders Association as well as a number of major general contractors in our area. We have completed projects for hospitals, universities, vineyards and many more businesses and private residences in our community. We strive to provide top notch service and quality of work on all of our jobsites regardless of type or size of the project. It was good! He was very prompt and came in when he was supposed to. I don't have any complaints with him and I highly recommend him. We were very happy with the results.
Description of Work: He put in some tile for us and put in a new water heater and gas range for us.

Do not hire Yost Construction!!! Andrew came out and gave a quote promptly and seemed to genuinely care about doing a good job on the home. He seemed knowledgeable of the challenges that we faced. He had a crew of around 8 guys that showed up to work within two days of signing the contract. After taking off the aluminum siding and roof, he informed us that the cleanup was not included and it would be $650 more to clean it up. I told him I guess I had no choice. They left nails and glass all around the yard. Piles of watter bottles were left. I still had to go back and clean it up after paying $650. At walk through I noticed that there were only gutters on the front of the house. I asked him why there were not any on the back, and he said it was not included in the bid. I asked who quotes for only the front of the house. He said he would put them on the back if I paid for it. I have more to say, but not enough characters to say it with. Bottom line, run away from Yost Construction.
Description of Work: Andrew Yost and his team were hired to put on a new roof, new windows, new siding and gutters, and hang three exterior doors.

I started this company using the YOST coat of Arms as our logo with the approval from my father. I promised at that time we would deal with all business with HONESTY, INTERGRITY AND HONOR. This means something to me and WE WILL NOT CHANGE! Nor will be back down when we know that we are right! The member (Investment Properties, LLC) purchased a house with the intent of flipping it for a profit. After looking at the foundation of the house we discovered that one Complete side of the house was falling in.The member refused to repair or address the damage. The house should have been bulldozed and rebuilt on the property. The house had extensive damage to the roof and had to be completely sheeted as well as trusses replaced to repair the damage. We repaired the addition at the back of the house that had wood rot for material cost only. The electrical wiring of the house had damage due to rodent infestation and was apparent after removing the roof. Addressing the complaints 1. Trash in the yard. a. Before we started the project there was trash that was left on the property from the last owners. It was like a junk yard! I took pictures of the property and have them as proof that it was! I quoted a fair price for removing additional waste. I also have pictures of the house and yard after we left the property. 2. Gutters a. After completing the quoted Roof replacement, Window installation, Vinyl siding. And installation of an A/C window unit for FREE. the member wanted to add gutters to the house but didn’t want to pay for them. I quoted a fair price for just the front of the house which was still too high but he agreed. We did not quote the back of the house! This project was over two years ago. Since this project we have worked for some of the largest General Contractors in the world. You don’t get continued business from reports like this and it is sad but true. Sometimes it doesn’t matter what you do. You just can’t make some people happy! Sincerely, Andrew Yost, President Yost Construction Inc.
