The Cleaning Authority of Salisbury cleaned for me for over a year and it seemed as time went on the service and attitudes got worse and worse. At Originally I was told I would have the same team at the same time on a bi-weekly basis, and that they would clean for 2 to 3 hours until everything was to my satisfaction. The scheduling problems started from the beginning. Originally supposed to start at 11:00 am but they kept showing up earlier and earlier until they were getting me out of bed at 8:30 am. Sometimes they would call about an emergency or illness, other times they didn't call at all. I often received a last minute phone call asking to reschedule. I rarely had the same people clean each week. Cleaning was spotty at best. Green clean means not cleaned at all. The products used for Green cleaning were not effectual in cleaning and sanitizing - might as well use water. If I was at home they would do a better job and would stay the full time. I noticed if I left they would skip the last of the cleaning and leave early. They would break things and offer a token apology, once a worker drove into my garage door and dented it. Calling Kathy at the office only offered placating excuses and didn't really address any issues. They cleaned here for over a year, but I should have fired them long before that.

I have had this cleaning service for approx 5 months and had several problems, when we got the original price the owner Kathy said it should take approx 1 hour and 45 minutes to clean, every week the girls were told they had to hurry and do it in 1 hour and 15 minutes, so things were always missed, when they were hired they were told no cleaning before 11;30 am, well on dec 26th they showed up at 10;10 and we were not ready for them , told them to return later(cleaner said she would call the boss) No one ever returned or called. (we always pay by check) to our complete shock THE CLEANING authorirty cHARGED OUR CREDIT CARD THE NEXT DAY ,FOR HALF OF THE CLEANING CHARGE,1ST THEY WERE HERE AT THE WRONG TIME, THEY HAD NO AUTHORITY TO CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD WHATSOEVER. THEY ONLY REASON THEY HAD MY CREDIT CARD IS BECAUSE THE GIRLS FORGOT THE CHECK ON DAY, IT IS VERY SCARY THAT THEY STILL HAVE THIS NUMBER FLOATING AROUND. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THER SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES, THEY ARE GOOD AT FIRST, THEN JUST RUN THRU THE HOUSE DOING SPOT CLEANS AND GET OUT AS FAST AS THEY CAN

I hired the cleaning authority to clean my house except for the two guest bedrooms. It was a disaster from the start. I was suppose to have a cleaning biweekly but on several occasions was called on that day to be told an emergency came up so they would have to come at a later date. We never seem to have the same crew cleaning and i had to call and complain on simple things that were not even touched. I hate having to complain and didn't at first but it got way out of hand. The last time I allowed them to come they had to come on Saturday which was my day off because again they had to reshedule and that was bad enough but I stayed in the guest bdroom trying to sleep while they were Banging the vaccum into the walls and I mean banging! I started to realize they had no idea I was even home because of the way they were talking and complaining about cleaning. I got up to look out and they were rushing around like crazy just giving it a hit and miss as usual they stayed right around 40 mins. I called the following week to speak with cathy the owner and let her know I was at home and her girls were VERY unprofessional and the house wasn't cleaned well at all. I also heard the girls talking about how they couldn't keep help there and so on. I told her I did not want those girls back at my house amd she apoligized and said things had been hectic. The next time for my cleaning rolled around and guess what no phone call, no resheduling, nothing!!! I was so mad i called the voice mail and demanded my key and proceeded to say how unprofessional she was also. This company is a joke and it took me too long to fire them. It should have been sooner !!! One more very important thing was I would come home and things would be broke and a small we are sorry written at the bottom of the paper they leave, My new house cleaners are WONDERFUL and now I know just how slack The Cleaning Authority is !!! Oh and my key was mailed to me about a week later, just my key no note or anything it was a crazy experience!
