Description of Work: Water heater went out on a Saturday morning. Saw this company on Angie's List, at or near the top of the list. Called them Saturday morning because they advertised being open on weekends. Had to leave a voice message, requesting call back. Four days later, I have not heard back from them. After waiting several hours for a call, I called another couple of providers Saturday afternoon (Ted's Heating & A/C and Glen's Plumbing), and both responded very quickly (adding reviews on each).

Description of Work: I had worked with this company in the past. When they showed up to check my house for the potential installation It was a real pleasure to deal with them. On the day of instillation they were on time and ran into some small issues that would have cost more however they did stick to the agreed to price. The work was completed and instead of having one installer there ended up with three to get it completed.We are extremely happy with our tankless waterheater and do highly recommend the Water Heater Experts

Description of Work: After a bad experience with Piedmont Natural Gas trying to decide if I should repair my water heater or buy a new one (see review,) I decided to go through Angie's list and selected the Water Heater Experts. Overall they did a good job at a fair price. First of all, they told me they would honor the $699 advertised price for Angie customers even though they told me the coupon was out of date. The previous estimate for a new water heater was $1000, so I figured this was about a 30% discount. I told them I had to work Thursday, but they said they could be there promply at nine, Friday morning. Perfect, well almost perfect. At 8:00 AM I had to drive my daughter to school, and when I got back about twenty minutes later, their truck was already in the driveway. Can a repairman show up too early? Yes! Although better early than late, I have a simple formula for being on time: Perfect timing is within ten mintues early and five minutes late. Almost perfect timing is within twenty minutes early and ten minutes late. Bad timing is anything more than forty minutes early and twenty minutes late. Although you don't want to wait around for an hour for a repairman, it they come way too early, you are unprepared. A good rule of thumb is to call to inform the customer if you may show up 30 minutes early or more than 15 minutes late. Once he arrived, the new water heater was installed quickly and professionally. I could see the installation was done professionally and with pride. There were, however, two minor disappointments. I hate wasting both money and energy, and especially money on energy. For this reason I bought a car with excellent mileage, replaced my old inefficient air conditioner, put in new attic insulation, and replaced my roof with white heat-reflecting shingles. I was thus tempted to install the newest most energy efficient water heaters, until I realized they cost over $2000 and needed yearly maintanance. Even so, I thought the new water heater would save money. However only after the unit was installed I saw that the yellow energy guide estimated the yearly expense was $309 per year, although comparable models range from $273 to $315. This means the Rheem Guardian water heater was less, not more energy efficient than comparable brands. Oh well, I still had a copy of the $50 discount coupon I printed on-line. Then I noticed this was the coupon that had expired. The guy called in to see if I could still use the coupon in addition to the $699 advertised price. They said no. This was what I expected, but to get an A or an A+ you should not just meet expectations and do a good job, you should exceed expectations and do a great job.

Description of Work: I HAD JUST BOUGHT THIS HOUSE AND COULD NOT GET ANY HOT WATER, TRIED ALL BREAKERS AND STILL NO LUCH - CALLED WATER HEATERS AND THE RESPONDED AT LAST MINUTE, AND WITHING 15 MINUTES HAD MY HOT WATER WORKING. THEY ARE GREAT
