A1 Moving

Description of Work: I had a local move from one house to another approx 30 mins away. Everything was great except I did notice after the fact that some of our furniture was damaged. Unfortunately, due to the hectic nature of moving day, I didn't notice at the time and therefore could not bring it to their attention. Our couch has a wooden base that is chipped in a few places. Also they took apart and put together a bed, but put it back together completely wrong. Again, I didn't notice until about an hour after they left, so not only did I have to redo the bed myself, but I also paid for an additional 30 minutes or so ($65) just to have them do the work incorrectly. Otherwise, the guys were nice and relatively knowledgable. In total it took about 6-7 hours to complete.

Description of Work: I've used them twice now, and also recommended them to a friend. I and my friend both thought their service was superb, in every way. I couldn't find a better moving service if I tried. A-1 Moving was used by me and my friend for local moving only.

Description of Work: They moved my husband's home office from our second floor to the basement. Also moved the basement bedroom to the 2nd floor. Things went very well. Would use A1 again.

Description of Work: A1 moving, move me and my family from North Carolina to Florida, they finish loading the truck in Greensboro, North Carolina around 5pm, on 29th, November, and arrived the next morning at 7am, in Saint Johns, Florida. I could not ask for a more professional,hard-working, quality moving company, they do a excellent job,on-time, punctual, courteous and efficient, they are the best money can buy. A1 Moving delivered 100% of what the promise.

Description of Work: The gentleman from A1 moved us a short distance from Rural Hall to King, North Carolina. They were very professional and were able to move tricky furniture into tricky layouts in our new house. They worked quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use again if moving and would recommend to others in an instant!

He was very honest in saying it would cost me less to hire someone there, and he offered to rent me his equipment to make it affordable to purchase the piano. I decided to wait on the purchase, so I didn't use A-1 services. He was very helpful

Description of Work: The three amazing movers showed up on time. Packed my kitchen and china cabinet then moved my large two bedroom apartment to my family's new home. These guys moved in 93 degree heat and they never seemed like they slowed down at all. They made sure every piece of furniture was protected during the move and I didn't even noticed one scuff mark on the wall. I scuff the walls when I carry groceries in the house. All I can say is get these guys for your move you will not regret there excellent service and attention to detail.

I had some valuable antiques and they took very good care not to damage. The move was from W-S to Lexington. Owner called and followed up on my satisfaction level, right after the crew had left.
