Description of Work: We've used Regan & Son. They serviced our furnace. They changed the filter and changed the various electronics. They also serviced our gas logs.

Description of Work: Replaced 3 ton heat pump with Trane 17SEER heat pump and gas furnace. The installers did a good job and were very attentive to detail. They cleaned up behind themselves and made sure everything worked properly. Would highly recommend them for service or installation. The Trane heat pump they replaced was 27 years and still running trouble-free.

Description of Work: Serviced the AC because it had quit cooling. Another repair person indicated the only fix was to replace the entire unit at a cost of over $3000. Regan and Sons sent out a service person to test the unit and found the cause was some sensor. Replaced the part and did summer cleaning service on the unit for under $200. They saved me a lot or money.

+ -1 moreThe first trip the service man replaced some wires that had burned off the compressor. Two days later, the unit stopped working again and the second service man had to replace the same wires and added a cap to the wires. They did not charge me for the second service call. They were very prompt in responding to my calls and the unit has worked fine since.
Description of Work: One of the two AC units in my house stopped working. Had to replace wires to the compressor.

+ -1 moreI arrived at our lake house for Labor Day weekend to find the A/C was not working. I called several people, including one with an and quot;emergencyand quot; line. Regan was the only one to call back. He was finishing a job in our area, came over on a Sunday afternoon of a holiday weekend. He quickly diagnosed the problem, rewired the blower to work around the failed relay, and ordered a new control board. Since the system is outside the house he will replace the board without my having to make a separate trip out to our lake house. He was very knowledgeable, did the work quickly, explained what he was doing and why, and only charged an extra $25 for doing the work on a holiday weekend.
Description of Work: Central A/C blower was not running. He bypassed the control board to get the system up for the holiday weekend, and ordered the replacement board.
