Bill's Handyman Service

It went completely horrible. Bill took doors off the hinges, did not reinstall them. Installed new flooring on top of old flooring, even leaving the transition pieces underneath the new flooring. Never reinstalled the molding around the base boards. He was either late or did not show at all. After being paid, he disappeared and has everyone blocked. He did not finish the work that was invoiced out by him. This guy is a complete con and took advantage of my mother. His excuse for not coming back was his wife has cancer and is sick. I have been calling him for over a month with all calls going directly to the voicemail. No response to text message. Even the address on his business card is incorrect. I was able to reach via Angi’s list, he played completed dumbfounded like he had no clue who my mother or myself was. Bill ended the call with “send me the address and I’ll put a bank check the mail" that was literally the communication my mother has from him via text message. I strongly recommend not using this guy and his services/business not be advertised on this site. We will be seeking legal actions on him to recoup the money or monies back from him and his business.

I have had a lot of work done to my house and this was the worst experience I have had by far, or with any business ever. The work was done poorly, and then Bill abandoned the project a few weeks in. He sent an individual with a criminal record a mile long to finish the job. This person was drunk on the job and my neighbors called the police to report an intoxicated person stumbling in the street and fighting with his girlfriend. The police had to escort this man off my property. I told Bill I did not want this person to come back and wanted the job done ASAP. He continually failed to show up and kept asking for more money. I stupidly paid him all he asked for except for $1000, and he effectively abandoned the project. He also damaged my fence and porch, left a massive pile of debris in my yard, and refused to provide me with an itemized receipt. When I finally fired him the week of 12/5 he had the nerve to ask me for the remaining $1000. I requested half the money I paid him back, and of course he did not respond. I have since had a contractor come evaluate the work who said it will costs thousands to fix. Do not hire this con artist. This project started on October 4 and should have been completed in a week with ease.

Please do not give this man your money, He is not a repair person. He will tell you that 3 people will be working on your house thats a lie. Bill gets your business, then he will finds other people to do the work, and he keeps the money, and never will do what in the contract. Please do not do Business with this man. you can google other reviews.
