Contacted Hutchins Landscape to have an evaluation of work I needed to have done on my property—Jon came out on April 13 — and 10 days later all was completed — plus had problems with a 30 year irrigation system after a very cold winter— replaced 14 sprinkler heads and a broken water line— Jon is a professional— kept me informed of what he had found and fixed all the problems in that same day— that was amazing to say the least — his co-workers worked until all was done to my satisfaction— something I need to commend them all for and thank them for —- would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great experience and done quickly...

Outstanding! When Hutchins begin work on my lawn, probably 90% of it was dead! (Fescue installed by builder in 90 degree heat prior to closing!, then wasn't watered and builder went out of business so no recourse there.) When Jon began doing our lawn we asked him to re-sod thinking that was our only option, but instead of taking advantage of that opportunity for himself he told us he thought he could bring the lawn back (which would save us a fortune!) if we installed a sprinkler system and gave him a few seasons to aerate/over seed/treat for weeds etc. We followed his plan and within a year the lawn looked amazing (and even within just a few months it looked 90% better!) and now it is one of the best lawns in the n'hood. Neighbors regularly stop and comment on how great it looks, asking what we do! In addition, his employees are always polite and friendly and do a great job- even doing the little extras like bringing the trashcans up from the street when I'm not home. Highly highly recommend Hutchins!

Excellent work overall. Jon and his crew are very professional and reliable. Jon and Carmen remained very responsive in helping us manage issues in the weeks following initial installation while we got up and running. He puts a lot of pride in his work and in making sure the customer is satisfied and the job is completed correctly. We would recommend him to others without any hesitation. In all instances, the work by Jon and his company has been superb. He is responsive and takes all the time necessary to communicate with us.

It went perfectly. The tree was very close to our house and the Hutchins team member took extraordinary care to ensure that nothing was damaged. The tree was removed from our property and no debris was left behind.

It was a wonderful experience! Jon and his team did such an amazing job. They were on time and professional 100% of the time. Now ---if you want to get Jon's team on your project, contact him ASAP as they are very busy. But definitely worth the wait! I can't say enough good things about them. When the last work was completed I noticed that one of the pavers had a small chunk out of it. I told Jon and that next Monday his team arrived to replace it. I tried to attach pics of our beautiful space but wasn't able to do so 'cause they weren't in the right format. I am very pleased. I spent 5 years looking for a reputable irrigation specialist and I finally found one in Hutchins Landscaping.

This provider used block that was in poor condition with numerous large chunks missing. His team also cut power to my outside lighting and failed to rectify the situation. I had to hire an electrician to fix it. This was my first really bad experience with a for provider on Angie's list and has really left a bad taste in my mouth. I cannot recommend this provider at all.

We hired them to keep up our lawn for the foreseeable future.

I contacted them on Feb 1 and met with Jon on Feb 17 to discuss landscape/hardscape design and lawn/shrub maintenance program. He said he would send me a quote. After 1 month, I still had not received the quote, so I contacted them again. I received a quick response and apology, and was told I would get the quote in the next couple of days. That was two weeks ago and I never heard from them again. I just wish when contractors are too busy to take on new customers they would just tell you that, and not leave you hanging, causing you to delay getting your project started with someone else.

Jon Hutchins and his team did a thorough and professional job. The foundation for the pavers was relaid, packed and leveled. The pavers were then reinstalled with a special polymeric sand, which interlocks the pavers better than mortar or regular sand. Then, for security, flexible edge guards were installed to hold the pavers in place. It looks great. To solve the drainage problem, new drains and flexible pipes were installed to carry off the water. The job took several days, and looked new when completed.

Looks like I'll have a great lawn next summer. Mowing is really good, too. Jon Hutchins is very good to work with, and appears to really know his business.

Jon came out twice to consult with us on the job planning. Entailed repair of a hardscape we had torn up to renovate & expand our house. He had helpful design suggestions and the finished project looks much nicer than it did prior to the expansion. Also did significant work on drainage to eliminate run-off along with grading & sod work to complete the area. Can be challenging to reach when very busy & multiple projects are underway with weather delays, etc but he is conscientious about following up. His employees do quality work and were attentive to results and our satisfaction. We are pleased with the outcome and will continue to use Jon for ongoing needs.

I am very pleased with the outcome of this large project. Some weather delays caused the project to take a little longer than originally planned, but, Hutchins and his team completed the job and I am thrilled with the outcome. Great quality work!

All of the work was done flawlessly. Jon and his crew are all professional and polite, they arrived on time, the work was completed on time and the system is working perfectly. My experience was so positive, I contracted two more projects with Jon, including a complete re-sod of the yard and ongoing maintenance of both the irrigation system and the grass/landscaping. I would certainly recommend Hutchins to anyone who was looking for any of these services.

our drive way had been torn up due to a severed/damaged connection to our well. Hutchins graded and replaced the gravel. Service was excellent. However, there was some difficulty (apparently due to family circumstances) with the initial communications. they did not respond in a timely manner initially. I would use them again

I am very pleased. In fact, I've already scheduled my next project with Hutchins.

It went well. He did a good job. He did what he said he was going to do. It was a reasonable price because I checked some other people out. He came when he said he was going to come. He came on time. He underestimated the amount of stuff he needed then he came back to fix it the next day. The price was fair.

Hutchins added 3 zones and extended coverage to cover dry areas. We had new construction with irrigation but inadequate coverage. Jon and his crew came in and did the job quickly and with no balogna. His quote was very competitive and his approach simple but effective.

This call was for a 8 year old sprinkler system installed by another company. Jon Hutchins (the owner) was prompt for the appointment. He was attentive to my concerns and fixed many issues on the spot and ordered one part he needed. In addition, he took the time to explain how everything worked and adjusted each of the eight zone's sprinkler settings to maximize results. He explained few suggested improvements to the system (and the costs) but also offered alternatives and less costly fixes. It was an excellent experience and I can heartily recommend Hutchins as a sprinkler system guru.

Old fashioned work ethic, modern tools and know-how. Very impressed with the professional, friendly disposition. At this time of year these folks are so busy, it's hard for them to keep up. Nonetheless, they even showed up after business hours to accommodated my schedule. They found and fixed problems I didn't even know I had with the sprinkler system. I can't say enough other them. I don't want to write this review because then everyone will know how good they are and I won't be able to get an appointment the next time I need them, lol.
