Backyard landscaping still to be completed pending completion of work by others. Sprinkler installation was very well done! | |Could not be more pleased - had some timing issues with a sub but that was worked out.

Description of Work: Built new paver patio with retaining wall, drainage, etc. Jon was great to work with and is very knowledgeable. His crew was also very good. I didn't know exactly the style of patio I wanted but Jon helped me design a beautiful and functional patio around an existing deck.

Description of Work: Hutchins was prompt with communication and did a lot of education for me about our old sprinkling system as repairs were being made.. I would definitely hire | him again.

Description of Work: I saw the deal on Angie List, which was attractive compared to other quotes I received for the installation of a 5-6 zones irrigation system. It took some time to schedule a meeting, but overall it wasn't bad. When looking at the design and all the cost involved during the landscaper visit today, I became aware that the back flow system was not included in the deal and would cost approximately $750, which is approximately the saving on the deal. Also, the non-inclusion of the back flow system wasn't mentioned in the fine print. Moreover, there is also a possibility of extra cost if they bore under the driveway.

Description of Work: Hutchins installed an irrigation system for our lawn, and has since provided lawn maintenance. He and his team were professional and provided the services as promised at a reasonable price. It took a little time for him to be able to get to us due to the busy time of year (summer), but he was accurate with his time-frame. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: I have a year long contract with Jon Hutchens, which includes weekly mowing, fertilization and weed control, edging, mulching once per year, aeration and seeding, pruning trees and shrub twice per year, and removing leaves during the fall. |I have been using them since December and they have been doing an excellent job.

Description of Work: We had Hutchins Landscape out to give us an estimate on some drainage and landscape work as well monthly maintenance . I originally left a message and then followed up with an email. The owner Jon responded several days later apologizing for the delay since he was out of town. He came by our house and walked through all the work that needed to be done (which was a lot of small things and some big projects as well). He responded quickly with an estimate but left out several items we had discussed during our meeting. When we pointed them out to him, he revised his estimates. He was very pleasant, but did not take notes during our meeting and that's why I think some things were forgotten. We ultimately decided to go with another company which offered slightly better pricing and also we had received a referral about. We had had 3 companies come out and price our work. If I had to rank them in order of who we would have gone with, Hutchins was 2nd. As I said his pricing for the big ticket items were higher than who we went with and in addition his monthly maintenance plan was also about $40/mth higher. I can't compare him to our third estimate, as that company never sent us a proposal.

Description of Work: Jon's company, Hutchin's Landscape & Lawn Maint., LLC is an outstanding firm. Lowest estimate, finished on time, on budget and provided a quality water lawn watering system. He uses top quality material and an easy, understandable control system. Any homeowner who uses Ron's company will be very pleased with the product. He also removed and replanted some scrubs and a new tree. Again, excellent job. Even though I modified work order, he quickly adapted and charged a reasonable price for mod.
