We have had issues with this company since we got it installed first they installed a unit knowing that our house we need more wattage and didn’t update it or tell us second for the entire winter of 2021 no heating and when we called we were only Greeted with disrespectful tones and lies with no resolve the owner came by earlier this year to so called fix the issue just to have a agent come back a few months later to find A Freon link that they didn’t charge for replacing the freon because they never fixed the leak this company is horrible and i would allow them near my house unless you wanna pay 8000 for a unit that doesn’t work. Approximate cost of service includes all fans and heaters purchased during the times we didn’t have proper AC or heating and The pain is suffering currently owner is saying that the state won’t allow our house to be lower then outside heat Index never heard of that before

They are very good and they've done a superior work.

This is what they charged my 83 year old mom neglecting the "price up front" policy. The repair man told my mom he had to leave for thirty minutes and would be back to complete the install. After the work was done he gave her the invoice for 397.06. She felt she had no choice but to pay it. I called the owner and he told me his prices were in line and competitive and that they do not take advantage of the elderly or price gouge. I will post the invoice ,you be the judge.

They are quite excellent. I use them once a season to check the system before we go into a new temperature cycle. I don't think they are cheap but I think it's a good value. They are very efficient and completely effective. We've never had a problem that they haven't been able to handle and they keep things running well. So I don't really have problems. They are professional. I like that they have a staff that answers the telephone and does their scheduling, so I don't have to wrangle someone and leave messages back and forth. They have a professional quality office staff that does their scheduling. Their service men keep to their schedules, if there is a delay they let me know, that has happened on one occasion. And they do the work.

Excellent experience, they were on time, very professional, and cleaned up afterwards. Quality installation and workmanship. The owner even came out a few days before the scheduled city installation to look over the installation to ensure an issue free inspection. Highly recommended, every one from the office staff to sales person (Patrick Downs) was customer focused, sincere, and honest!

Service Technician quickly discovered source of problem and had it corrected within 1/2 hour.

It went well until I went to use my air. It was not hooked up correctly. I called next morning and they were out promptly. There was a rebate on my unit. The owner comes out to do his own inspection and then applies for rebate. It was over three months before he came and I had to call to remind them it needed to be done. I also had another issue under my house that they would have had to see but never mentioned. It was not part of their job, but it would have been good customer service to let me know I had something that needed attention. Otherwise, I was very satisfied with the work.

Great. There was a small mis-communication when the installer came out, and someone came right out and fixed that so that the rest of our contractors did not have to reschedule.

We are on an annual contract with them. We really like the company a lot. They are excellent. We pay an annual fee for them to do that. Whatever that annual fee is, we didn't receive a specific charge for that. They come and do it but we have that contract fee but I don't remember what the total cost of that is. For price, I think they were very fair but they can be better. The reason why we stayed with them is that they do not up sell us. The come in, do the work and they do exactly what is needed. They don't up sell, that is the reason we left the company prior to this one.

We really like them a lot. They've never tried to up sale us.

Went very well. We'd had maintenance done by Mitchell about a year ago. We keep their number on the fridge as we know they're responsive and reliable as well as reasonable. We consider them our go to company for a/c or heating problems. Very glad we found them on Angieslist.

The Mitchell sales rep (Dennis) came to our home and did very thorough room by room measurements along with inspecting our current HVAC systems and duct work. We also discussed specific details of the project and options relative to what I was looking for in the new systems. Dennis came back in a day or two with several estimates, however they did not include pricing options for gas heat and new duct work for upstairs which we had specifically discussed during his original visit. Dennis said he threw the proposals together quickly because he was in class and forgot to include options we discussed which is understandable, but said he would work up the additional estimates and get back to me. That was over a week ago and we've never heard anything back from Dennis, but he seemed very skittish about his company penetrating the roof to install a vent for the gas heater so perhaps our project was too involved for them to handle? Dennis seems to be very knowledgeable and personable so we were surprised when he did not follow through with what he had told us he would do. We had high hopes after reading the positive reviews of Mitchell Heating and Cooling however our experience with them was unfortunately another disappointment.

We decided on using Mitchell's Heating and Air because of the good reviews they got on Angie's list. We wanted to make sure we did all we could to insure a trouble free system because we have had precious bad luck with the heating and air units at our business and at home. We never knew if it was because of the name brand of the units or the service techs and companies we used. We wanted knowledgeable service technicians and a good product this go round. We feel that our homework paid off. Mitchell's did a great job and we will be using them for all our air conditioners/heaters from now on. From my experience the owner of this company is a well qualified perfectionist and he instills his work ethics to his workers and holds them accountable to a standard of professionalism and expertise. Hopefully we can finally say we have good luck with out units!

Mitchell Heating and Cooling covered all the bases! They were professional, clean and respectful. The job was done in one day. It was the folow-up that made the difference. Company representative(s) came to check to be certain the installation was done correctly. They they facilitated the city inspection that completed the project. Could not have been more knowledgeable and accommodating. I now have someone I can count on and feel comfortable knowing the job was perfect.

They eliminated our electric furnace and AC and installed a new one. The gentleman that came out and talked to us about the product, which was a very new, was very helpful. It has a heat index of 97 which is one of the reasons we went with them. The people that came out to do the work were all very professional and new exactly what to do. They were able to tear the old system out and put the new system in without damaging anything. It’s been working beautifully.

Very nice people both on the phone and in person. Clear about costs, even tried to save me money by telling me I could insulate the pipe myself (had him do it anyway since he was here). Did not treat me like I had "stupid" written across my head (it seems like as a woman, I get that A LOT from the service men in this area). Will most definitely use this company again.

On time. Polite. Professional. We trust what they tell us and what they do.

Appt. was for 3:30 but I got a call at 2:30 saying they had a cancellation and would it be ok for them to come earlier. It was and Richard showed up about 3:15, which worked out great for me. He was professional and friendly and got right to work. Didn't take that long and I had a coupon I was able to use, which was nice. I will be using them again for any future needs I may have.

I contacted Mitchell Heating & Cooling based on good reviews on Angie's List. I was not disappointed. They arrived on time and quickly diagosed the problem as a defective coil in my A/C unit. They also let me know that at 4 years old, my unit should still be under manufacturers warranty, something we did not know. They took care of contacting the manufacturer to confirm that the warranty was still in effect, so the part cost me nothing. They came back 1-1/2 weeks later, replaced the part and checked that everything was working well. I could not have been more pleased with the experience! They did what they said they would do, on time, professionally and courteously, and for a reasonable price. I highly recommend them.

The electric wiring was exposed and frayed and a circuit blew. It was not wired properly at install. I will definitely use him for future HVAC work.

We called Mitchell at the recommendation of friends in the area when our air conditioner stopped cooling and the company who installed it for us 4 years ago (not Mitchell) was completely unresponsive to our request for service. Richard Cash was the service technician we dealt with exclusively. Richard went out of his way to find not just the problem, but the root cause of the problem. We ended up having to order a new part for the unit (that they don't normally sell). It took a while to get the part in, but were constantly in touch on status. Once the part arrived, they put us on the schedule very quickly Much longer story short, we found Richard excellent to deal with, extremely professional, did exactly what he said he would, and was very personable. That experience extended to the rest of the entire company. The office staff was on top of their game, very helpful, and extremely professional. All of our questions were happily answered and they provided status updates when we needed them. Any question or issue we encountered was dealt with quickly, properly, and to my complete satisfaction. This is a company that totally stands behind their work and they proved it to me beyond any shadow of a doubt. After such a horrible experience with that other company, it was truly refreshing to find competent professionals who do what they say they will and stand behind their work. Suffice to say, Mitchell has earned another repeat customer. I will not consider calling anyone else for this type of work in the future.

Disappointed with lack of follow-up by Allan, who promised to email us the same day with an estimate on additional work. He has not responded to ANY of our emails and telephone messages left at his place of business.

Very professional and prompt. Had my A/C unit stop cooling. Came out checked it out and it just needed Freon. Would use again.

Excellent service. Many companies do not serve this small town. Called before arrival, arrived on time, pleasant and courteous. Invited me to look with him at what he was doing and explained everything. Complete detail of services on receipt.

No problems. Sales person, Charles Alverez, came to the home and then provided a written quotation. We accepted the quote within 5 days and material was placed on order. Components arrived approximately when expected and installation was scheduled in a timely manner. Installation crew arrived as promised and completed the job within one day. A couple of minor "glitches" occured during install which were quickly resolved without drama. No change to the quoted price. All work was completed and unit is working as expected. Installation crew did not collect the monies due. Instead, after unit had been in service for about a week, Mr. Alverez called to see if all was well and then stopped by for his payment.
