+ -1 moreThe estimate was way too high. The people we contacted were just for estimates and they were really like a high ball number. We ended up not using them. He seems like.... I don't want to say he was over selling it but we want to put ten feet on our deck; we have an existing deck all he have to do was tie it to the wall so he just needed to seal the frame. He was coming back and it was like anywhere from $10,000 for ten feet. So I said we appreciated it but no; then he started to say that we needed some permits. I don't think we needed a permit to add on a deck if we don't have one but for an extension under the 2:05 anyway it has to go through all of that. It was a crazy number.
