Premier Painting

In reading the response I see I over rated my rating and should have reduced to less than C! I waited out side to make sure he found us ! The work was far less than his description of what he would do ! There was no painting no full hours paused! No proper dry walling ! Even the times I helped my dad as a kid I knew better how to smooth out the indents of the dry wall and the project with tape! He told me he doesn't t finish with tape ! What about the crease that is left! Well he would come back when it's dry and sand it out and than finish the painting! He still owed me over a half hour of time! He promised to return but refused to set up a time at that point! The work he did was a small hole in a dry wall of 12x16 and a hole behind the washer of a hole of 20x16! The 6x4 dry wall hole previously described before the job was abandoned! The promise of painting the basement wall and the patch sites never were done as the ad promised even more than these small spaces ! The indicated work promised large dry wall work and full room painting! We didn't even have a quarter of that! He never intended to return and for 8 mos. we had to stare at this terrible sloppy white spot on our Hallway ! The basement work is hidden by the washer which he never moved back in place properly nor placed the folding doors back in place ! Forget about any painting! So the ad was walls of dry wall and full rooms of painting! How can two small dry wall patches take over 4 hrs? When his ad promised full walls and full room painted with dry wall work ?! My rating was trying to be kind ! Now I see he I tented not to do the work advertised ! Please regard my rating as much too high for the work! I have photos I any one wants to see what he feels is excessive !I provided all the material and all he needed was less than 3x6ft piece of sheet rock that I provided the patch I provided and the scrapers I provided! He never used the dry wall tape or the the primer or the paints I bought or the sanding sponges I had there prior to his arrival! And I have the tiny hole on the wall and the small area behind the washer! Hardly even to tax a grade school shop student! He said he had two mos. tied up but would return to complete the half hour : sanding when it dried and then do the painting! I asked if we could make a time in two mos. "no "I'll call you! And if you feel like sanding the wall when it dries use a fine sand paper and if you want a deal on Sherman William paint I can help you with that !" But Scott promised to be back in two mos!.!i wish I could post the photos! He was more than a few mins late. ! He totally missed the first appt . all together ! And on the make up appt. he was over an hour late ! It was almost two hours ! The ad and work done were far from the work or service promised!

Contacted Scott Tetterton, owner of Premier Painting at end of August. He arrived the next day and provided a bid. We asked if he could rush the job as we were planning on moving into the house the first week of September. Scott found a way and had his crew of 5 show up that weekend (and they arrived early). They were very professional and completed the job within 2 1/2 days. Scott came by on a couple of occasions to check on their work. On the last day, Scott arrived and he spent 2 hours finding small flaws in his crew's work - and touching them up himself - incredible!! Would give two thumbs up to Premier Painting!!!

They were friendly, professional, and very detail-oriented. They were sure to put dropclothes down everywhere, were careful in moving the ladder on our hardwood, and even took the time to remove the handrails off the staircase in order to avoid dripping paint on them. We were very pleased with Premier Painting and would definitely use them again in the future!

I was expecting this job to take at least a week, but they started around noon one day and finished the next afternoon. Scott Tetterton and his crew went non-stop, but was very maticulus about the work being done. Anything that looked like it needed fixing or painted, they would always ask and then they would take care of it. I would definitely use Premier Painting again in the future. They did an excellent job and they did it all when they said they would.

Difficult to cover dark paint with a shade of white. Looks great!

Scott was amazing. We first had him do our exterior doors and shutters. We loved it! Even the neighbors came over to say what a great job he did! Based on the wonderful job he did on the doors, we asked Scott to paint our living room and bathroom, both with cathedral ceilings. Again we were extremely happy with his work. He is very meticulous, conscientious and professional and is willing work with your schedule. We would highly recommend Scott to anyone we know who is need of a truly professional painter and we will be calling him for any and all painting jobs we need done in the future!!!

He painted all the woodwork in the bathroom and did several coats. He was prompt and absolutely fantastic. I received a call the day before to confirm our appointment and he called prior to showing up for the job.

He did superb! He was prompt, on time, and very professional. He was pretty fast too; there was 2 guys and they got it done quickly.

This was my first order online as an Angie's List member. I received an email from Scott at Premier Printing the following day after I paid for the service . He stated he has asked his rep to change the promotion twice and apologizes that this coupon offer is no longer valid and to contact you for a full refund. Not such a great first experience and since coupon allowed me to purchase I feel it should have been honored and he could take up the issue with his rep at Angie's List rather than putting the owness on me to have to call and now fill out a form for my refund.

The owner came out first by himself for a visual assessment and provided a date when he could complete the job, about two weeks out. The owner was nice but his quality of work was a 7 out of 10 as there were areas that weren't covered well, which he explained as being on the part of the roller. He and the other gentleman came back to finish up as I had agreed to more work. The other painter's work was at an A+ level. Their clean-up was fine. There were additional costs when they came back out. I wish they would have been able to get more done on the first time out and that the owner had assessed that two people were initially needed and that they had been more prepared.

Company was unable to complete work as advertised. Although responsive and professional, I was unable to use coupon.

I had tried to paint the trim in the sunroom myself but it was taking forever and I ran out of steam. Scott was able to finish all that I had started and do parts I had not yet begun. He was careful and explained how I could better paint some areas where I had difficulty. He worked the full 6 hours and everything looked great!

It went well. Scott was thorough and also gave me some good tips for finishing up the garage.

There were no troubles with scheduling to have them come out. I needed popcorn ceilings removed. They were unable to do this work though this deal and I had the deal refunded. He was very nice and accommodating. Everything was fine.

Person I contracted with arrived punctually to assess room and determine amount of paint needed. He informed me that he would bring a crew, and would be on site and work with them. His crew showed up, but he did not. Due to language difficulties, it was hard for me to get crew to understand that I wanted stone floor fully covered, and what I wanted painted. Crew did a fine job painting, and did room fairly quickly, but person I contracted with called me once to say he was busy, and did not arrive until job finished. He did assess the work and have a few areas touched up. Again, the painting was fine, but not happy that the person I had talked to was not on site.

Did a excellent job however thought more work would have been accomplished for the price

He was very pleasant, detailed, and told me exactly what I needed to bring. He got back to me very promptly. He is coming out next week.

They completely painted the interior from floor to ceiling and did an incredible job. Scott is the nicest guy in the world and his team cleaned up every day before leaving. 5 Stars

The job went very well. Originally stated a crew of 2 would come in and would take approximately 2 days. Actually sent a crew of 4 and the job was done in 1 day. They completed the stripping of the wallpaper off the walls,then repaired the walls were damaged had been done due to the stripping. The walls were given two coats of paint. I am very pleased with the results. Everyone was very professional and very efficient.

Provider quickly contacted me. I explained that I had a large amount of work to be done. Provider came out the next day to inspect the job and provide an estimate. The estimate was more than I am willing to spend at this time.

He was nice, but could not get work done until July.

Scott did a great job and made good recommendations that he did to improve the painting surfaces. He was on time and he was very easy to work with. He definitely knows his craft and is conscientious of his time. I bought an Angie's List deal for 6 hours of painting and he did not take phone calls during these hours. He stayed on task and completed the goal I had in mind for the 6 hours I paid for.

They were very professional, flexible, and punctual. They were great all around. They painted the master bedroom, which had three different shades.
