HOBBS FLOORING

After checking for flooring experts in my area with a good reputation, we contacted Hobbs Flooring in Richlands NC. Ricky Hobbs the owner came to our home the next day. After talking with us to determine our needs, he measured our our rooms then gave us some options on different types of material. The next day we went to his shop and picked out the floor and they gave us prices that were fair and reasonable. We schelduled an installation date and each and every morning the guys were on time and working. Extremely hard working and professional people, they did a fantastic job. We highly recommend Hobbs Flooring for your flooring needs. That is if you want it done by professional flooring people.

After asking around, speaking to several neighbors and service vendors we were familiar with, we were recommended to Hobbs Flooring. Ricky Hobbs came out the day following our phone call, to measure and inform us of the process. Ricky is one of the nicest, and most professional people you'd want to meet, and he answered all our questions and concerns. We then went to their office the next day, met Tammy and Vicky, our office contacts, selected our materials, (of which are many, and all of them beautiful) and scheduled our installation. On the day of installation, the crew, Chase, Travis and Erick, each one of them true artists, came on time, and speedily got to work. These guys so pleasant, professional and courteous, that it felt like old friends installing our floor. Before they started, they told us the order of the installation, (i.e. which room they would start in etc.) and told us what they would be accomplishing on a daily basis. The entire process was painless and a joy to watch being fulfilled. Erick and Chase arranged the tiles in such a beautiful manner, it was like watching Michelangelo creating his art. We stayed in a hotel during the installation, so as to give them unemcumbered space to work. When we were not available when they finished their day, they made sure the house was locked and secured. When the entire job was finished, several of our neighbors came by to see the floor, and could not believe that the floor wasn't hardwood, but porcelain tiles. When we returned to their office to conclude our order, Vicky (who is wonderful) took care of us. We also have to mention Tammy, who helped us so wonderfully during the installation period, she was terrific! We would not hesitate to recommend Hobbs Flooring to any of our friends and neighbors. The floor is beautiful, the work was excellent, and everyone was like family!!!

We left a check for worker who left nail heads in top of flooring that was supposed to be glued. Baseboards were cracked and crooked, cracks in boards, and large buckling. The secretary wouldn't let us speak to owner and blamed us and our product. The worker hung up on my husband when we nicely called and sent pics of damage. Very rude staff! They claimed there were issues when they installed but they never once called about a problem. We had to threaten to get our lawyer involved to get them to repair it. They did repair over a week later with the same wood and it appears fine now. We'll never use them again. Unbelievable to be treated like we did something wrong when they left such a disaster!

the house is in Emerald Isle - Hobbs is in Richlands. So glad they do work in our area. Hobbs flooring removed the old shower (one of those "plastic looking" showers) and prepped, sealed, double-sealed, cut-out niche in shower for shampoo bottles and shaving and tiled the entire shower and floor. They did a wonderful job. The 2 man crew they sent out was great. Professional and punctual (so hard to find with beach companies). We found Hobbs from our handyman and we are so thankful for that reference. We would work the Hobbs again if the need arises.

It went very well. They were very prompt, they actually showed up early. They cleaned up after themselves and they were very professional. They were also very trust worthy.

We purchased all our materials for our floor from Lowe's along with scheduling installation. The day the installation was to begin, the guy from Lowe's showed up and said he couldn't do the floor. We were devastated as we had already spent all that money and had torn out all our carpet and were living out of our bedroom. We called Hobbs and even though they were booked 3 weeks out, they understood our desperation and agreed to take us on immediately after there regular day of work. The two guys that came were awesome, professional, and very attentive to details. The work they did was worth every penny. We plan to start with them when we get ready to do our bathroom floors.

From start of the process (initial phone call for an estimate to completion) to finish the flooring install took one week. the Hobbs family runs an incredibly responsive and professional business. After the estimate and some advice, we agreed on a date for the install. there is a requirement for half of the payment up front. the estimate for time was three days, but the crew actually got the job done in one day of work. We were happy with the work and the workers. I felt good leaving them with my family as I went to work. They were on time and did great work. this was one of the best experiences I have ever had with contractors and home repair. I would highly recommend Hobbs flooring to anyone that asks.

They came and replaced carpet

I spent $1500 on that work. They were awesome. They were here when they said they would be here. They did a great job and cleaned up after they were done. They are a great company.
