This was our second time with Young's Tree Tech. (A year prior they removed a gigantic oak that was dying and about to keel over, and all went well. We hired them because they offered the best price of all the estimates we received.) Derwin and his crew work fast and efficiently, and they're very careful not to damage anything, even in tight spots and difficult areas. You'll be amazed. Best price, best quality work. Only complaint is that sometimes it's a little hard to communicate with Derwin on the phone... just make sure the dates and times are absolutely clear!

The entire crew worked hard and fast. They arrived at my home at 8am and the job was complete by 11:30am. I had 2 other estimates and Derwin came in at the best price. He actually came in significantly lower! Please don't hesitate to call these guys!

Went extremely well. Because of the height and the sickness of the trees, Young's Tree Service had to bring in a crane to access the trees. The whole operation was very well organized and well planned. The men came on the day agreed up with the crane, multiple trucks, a wood chipper, and a bulldozer. Mr. Young had come just a few days earlier to give me a quote which was quite fair and competitive. All the men had a specific job to do and almost with military precision performed the service. After the work was done, the yard was cleaned up, the driveway blown clean and you could hardly tell that two massive trees had been taken down. I would recommend Mr Young to anyone who needs tree cutting services. I would use them again.

Derwin was recommended by our landscaper, whom we respect. (Panoramic Landscape. Another great company!) Derwin came on time, gave us a great price, and had all the trees down by the following week. He made some great recommendations for removing certain trees, and took special care not to damage the ones that we wanted to stay. His workers were kind and quick to get the job done. We highly recommend his services.

The owner of the company does the quotes. If you miss him, leave a message and he will get back to you in short order.The crew arrived and made quick work of removing 11 sweet gum trees from my yard. They were polite, efficient, and professional. All debris cleaned up. Total time from arrival to departure was just short of 4 hours. Three of the trees were very big ones requiring multiple stages of cutting large limbs until the tree could finally be dropped. This is the third time I've used Young's Tree Tech. They are by far the lowest priced for the highest quality of tree work. They even do the stump grinding for free. Save yourself time and money and call them.

They were wonderful. Very professional and kind. They came on time and the price was more than fair based on two other estimates we had that were much higher. They had everything done and cleaned up by noon. We would definitely use them again!

After they cut down the trees they had to remove them by lifting them over our house. I would call them back.

I had these trees removed to install an inground swimming pool. Derwin came out promptly for an estimate and scheduled the job within 5 days. He arrived with a large crew on the scheduled date and completed the job quickly. Results were perfect... with the exception of trees down and a lot of firewood, you would never know they were on the property. Overall, a very positive experience.

Youngs did a great job for a great price. Owner Derwin Young is on site with his team, in this case 8 men altogether. They were beyond prompt, showing up at 7:30am and dove right in, no lingering around waiting for directions. Men scaled trees to remove limbs right away, no loitering around to figure out which tree, which limb. It's like they had a war room meeting to launch a battle! It was all super-choreographed, in a well practiced system. Once again, no standing around or goofing off. A crane was brought in to take out my big tree in pieces, over my one story home. Most importantly, Youngs provided proof of their insurance ahead of time (sent by their insurance co., so it was official), so my mind was at ease watching the crane in action. Impressively, all was done, from load-in to stump-grinding and hauling off the limbs plus some restorative leaf blowing. They left the place in better condition than they found it!

We had a few quotes. Young's was very competitive. Derwin Young said he could do the work in one day, which was hard to imagine. Most of the trees were huge. He brought in a large crew, a crane, several bob cats and trucks. He started at 7:30 and was finished by 5:30 - just as he promised. The workers cleaned everything up. It was a first class job. I would recommend him to anyone based on my experience.

Excellent. They did a very professional job, started promptly and finished quickly. The price was substantially better than the next best quote I got, and less that half as much as the highest.

It was an awesome experience with them. We had some tall trees and we had to have it moved in and one the made look like fun and they enjoyed themselves, and they were incredible. They were speedy and did a great job cleaning up. They came in at half the time and price at every other estimate we got and we must have got 3 or 4 estimates. They were here on time, courteous and very nice. I have never seen a tree felled before, but it was phenomenal they way they handled it, if I had more trees to cut down, I would gladly use them.

They were one of the few companies that told me they could get it done immediately. They did the job very quickly and efficiently for a good price. I would use them again in the future.

It went fine. The company's owner is friendly and courteous and appreciative of his customers. They brought a crew of 4-5 people and machinery used to remove branches and grind the stumps. My only complaint was that the machinery appears to have killed some of my lawn on my side yard. I assume this was unavoidable because of access to the backyard, but I would have like to have been warned about it prior to the work being done. Also, they asked to use some of my personal equipment; a wheelbarrow (which I do not own) and bush clippers. Despite that, the end result in the backyard looks great.

In August 2006 while at my mailbox, I was approached by a man in a Young's Tree Service t-shirt driving a bobcat down my street who offered free mulch from a neighborhood job. I said we could use some. He came back with a huge truck full of what I assumed was useable mulch so I instructed him to drop it on a small parking area next to my driveway and try and keep it within this area as it is at the edge of our property line. He started dumping and ended up leaving approx. 30-40 cubic yards of what amounted to yard waste, roots, sticks, branches, leaves,dirt, rocks, with a few wood chips mixed in. He then came back with the bobcat and pushed the pile back from the driveway and up against our neighbor's tree and on his grass. This employee was obviously canvassing the neighborhood looking for a place to dump this waste rather than drive it to the landfill. We called the owner, Derwin Young, explaining that the mulch was really yard waste, that his employee knew that it was and took advantage of the fact that I didn t, and requested he send someone to remove it from our yard. The next day we called Mr. Young on his cell phone to again explain the problem and to request removal of the debris. Mr. Young blamed me for accepting it, and also admitted that his employee probably shouldn t have dumped as much as he did. He said the soonest he could get someone to our house to remove it would be 3 days later and asked us to call him the next day to confirm. The next day we called Mr. Young s cell several times before reaching him and was again told someone would be here Saturday to remove it. I emailed the Solid Waste Management Dept. at the Town of Cary to ask if the Town would be able to remove the waste should Young s not come through. Saturday, August 5th, called Mr. Young s cell 4-5 times and left messages, but his calls were not returned. No one came to remove the debris. Monday, August 7th, called Mr. Young s cell and left a voice mail asking that he please send someone to remove the debris as soon as possible. My call was not returned. Wed., August 9 -The Town of Cary advised they could not remove the waste from our yard as it was on private property, but said if we moved it to the curb they would pick it up. Thursday, August 10 - contacted another tree service about moving the waste to the street. The pile was beginning to decompose and smell and was attracting insects. Other service confirmed they could do so the next day for a charge of $200.00. Three employees of Gonzolez Tree Service moved the debris to our curb using a Bobcat, shovel, and rake. The process took approx. 1 hour. Monday, August 14th, the Town of Cary removed the waste from the curb.
